Though the complex is right across the street from a beautiful, private beach, the amazing five-star worthy seasonally heated pool should first be acknowledged. It is expansive and has two specific sections as well as a detached hot tub. This pool system with no steps allows for easy walk in just like the beach, so there is no need to hold on to the rails and step down, making it ideal for elderly guests or young children. Beach Resort also provides gated beach access! Hungry? Within walking distance are local beachside favorites: Captain Dave’s, Pompano Joe’s, and Kenny D’s. Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants.
If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

Easy eats.

Perfect for a couple or family with small children

This was my first visit to the Emerald Coast, and I think I've found my new go-to vacation spot! The condo was perfect for me. Some people have commented on furnishings, but everything was lovely, very clean and comfortable. I actually had the best six nights of sleep in the master bedroom that I've had in months at home! I can't imagine needing anything more. The sugary white sand beach is steps away, the pool immaculate and never overcrowded. If you like to walk, you can go miles east or west on the path just outside. My new favorite restaurant, Kenny D's, is a locals hangout literally sixty feet down the street. Great food, and I met folks there that I now consider friends. I look forward to seeing them on my next visit. Don't miss karaoke night on Wednesdays! Check-in and check-out were a breeze. RealJoy Vacations provided me with everything I needed, and never bothered me at all. The only thing I didn't like was having to leave.. A perfect vacation experience!- Posted: 5/5/2024

Beautiful Place

Lovely Time!
We always have the best time at Beach Resort. It’s super clean, great location, and has the best pool/hot tub condo. It is also quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay in Unit 310 it was clean, as described, and had everything we needed. Checking in and out was fast and easy. Great location
It’s my third time at this location- every time different unit. I love the location and short walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Property has huge cabana like pool which is a huge plus. Unit itself has it all - kitchenware, all kinds of small cooking appliances , 2 coffee machines, washer/dryer and local cable channels. TV’s are older and you cannot watch Netflix, but it’s no big deal. Overall great time there and definitely will come back- Posted: 10/2/2022

Loved our stay in Destin Florida
We loved everything about the property! We had gulf views from the terrace. Which also overlooked a huge pool area that offered 2 pools and had a huge fountain in the middle and a hot tub. We also had a large place to set outside at the tables or we had lawn chairs to layout in. They also had grills if you wanted to grill out. We had our own private beach area. The condo was amazing it was clean and comfortable and very spacious. Honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better. They are tons of stuff to do within miles of the resort. We was 300 350 feet from the gulf. I really don’t have any dislikes except from the guy that had the chair service on the beach. I thought that our package included 2 chairs and umbrella on the beach because it does show it. He questioned me and asked me who was I staying with I told him LoveJoy & he stated that he has had a lot of problems out of them lying to people about the chair service but that I could pay 40 dollars a day and that LoveJoy would reimburse me. Beach getaway
We enjoyed our stay. Unit was clean and ready to go. Management was prompt and helpful. Beach was a short walk (bring a wagon!). Walking distance to food options too! So nice. Only confusing part was parking. We were told the key fob wasn’t for the parking deck… but residents there said it was… ours never worked. This property was awesome! It was exactly how it was described and the pictures were very accurate. This pool was simply amazing! I didn’t see another pool in the area that was better than this one. We enjoyed the short, easy walk to the beach which was super manageable with a beach cart that we brought from home. We were also within walking distance to some restaurants and other shops. We had a couple questions while driving into Destin and RealJoy was quick, friendly, and extremely helpful on the phone. I messaged a question about checkout the day before we left and got a quick response as well. We would LOVE to come back to this place the next time we come to Destin.- Posted: 6/20/2021

Fantastic Week
Overall, the property was fantastic! 5 stars overall. My kids (10, 7), wife and I all loved the pool, hot tub and balcony. The Unit itself was very clean, spacious and nicely appointed. Quiet at night. The pictures are a very good representation of the unit. Check in was easy and on time. The washer and dryer were great, wifi worked well, so did the cable TV and blu ray player. The kitchen was sized well to prepare meals. My kids liked the bunk bed arrangement. It was a great place to come "home" to and relax after a day at the beach. Dishes and cooking utensils were all provided, including blender. Bath towels provided. Clean sheets were provided for the fold-out sofa bed. This is a great place that we would love to stay in again. Info for those that do stay here: We went to Publix prior to check in to buy food etc. for the week, and this is what we had to go back for. Hand soap was provided at each bathroom sink, but not at the kitchen sink. Two rolls of TP are provided in each bathroom, do what you will with that info, and decide if you will need more. A small bottle of dishwashing soap was provided along with a dishpan and scrubber, and it was adequate for our dishwashing needs. There were two dishwasher tabs provided, and they want you to run it as you check out, leaving you one for your stay, we had to buy a bag for 1 more tab. A laundry basket is provided, as well as an iron and board, but we had to buy detergent. We had to buy paper towels as there were none provided. Salt and pepper shakers. They have both drip and Keurig coffee makers, so bring whatever you usually use. 3 trash bags were provided in the kitchen, and they want you to take it out before you leave, leaving you two for your stay. We had to use grocery bags as we went through the ones provided. The beach access for this property is about a 300 yard walk down the street. It is not the one directly across the street, and they are all code/key controlled (both in and out). It was a bit confusing on the first day, but not a big deal at all after that. The beach is more than worth the 5 min walk, but bring a wagon if you have more than a few things. The only real CON was that the remote for the parking garage did not work. We parked in the surface lot, so no big deal, but I did email the management company about it on the first day, and never got a response.- Posted: 6/10/2021
David, we appreciate you taking the time to provide us with some feedback regarding your family's vacation rental experience while staying in Beach Resort 310, a one-bed, two-bath condo that sleeps six comfortably with a king-size bed in the bedroom, twin bunks in the bunk nook, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. We are happy to know that you thought this homey property was fantastic overall since the unit itself was very clean, spacious and nicely appointed with a balcony, washer & dryer and a well sized kitchen and you loved the pool and hot tub. We are also glad that the wifi and cable worked well, check-in was easy and on time and there were plenty of dishes and cooking utensils, including a blender; and you would love to stay here again. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by there not being more supplies available. As mentioned in the rental agreement, housekeeping provides a limited amount (starters) of such items as paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and dish detergent. Guests must provide any other additional items needed for/during their stay. Spices, condiments, coffee, etc. are not provided due to food safety issues. We would also like to apologize for any inconvenience caused by the remote for the garage not working. We are unfortunately unable to find any record of this issue being noted. Family vacation

Our little condo was perfect. Super clean and spacious. Pictures were spot on. The beds were amazingly soft. The kitchen was stocked with everything that I have at home and more.
