This lovely Mediterranean-style home has been fully renovated and features a fully-equipped kitchen with a large eat-in bar and a spacious living area with a large flat-screen TV. Relax on one of the covered balcony decks or lounge poolside in your private backyard and cook up your catch of the day on the outdoor gas grill. There is a king bed in the large master suite, a guest bedroom with a queen bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed, and another guest bedroom with a king bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed, allowing for sleep accommodations for up to 10 guests. Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.
All the excitement of Destin is just minutes away: choice of water-sports, golf, amusement parks, and outlet shopping. One glimpse of Destin beaches and you're hooked. It must be the wide, white beaches and the famous emerald waters. Not to mention the fabulous fishing, the world's most beautiful beaches, addictive seafood and the full array of activities for kids of all ages and more fun to be found in Destin.
If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

New Years @ The Blue Pelican
Reservations and check-in were quick and easy! I messaged through VRBO to ask to get the pool heated three times, but never got a response. Once we called we talked to a very friendly representative who took care of us! The fenced in patio area with the pool could use some landscaping and attention, but the pool was warm and clean:) The neighborhood and pool across the street that we had access to through the resort was also wonderful!- Posted: 1/3/2025

Girls Weekend
Our stay was amazing. The property was perfect for us. For someone looking at this property for a family vacation to cook to save money, the kitchen is TINY. That was my only ‘complaint’ and it wasn’t a deal breaker for us. Just got a little crowded around meal times. We enjoyed the house. Our family absolutely loved our the house, the pool, everything. The house boast with room for everyone to spread out an have their own space. Three bathrooms were so clean an have great lay out. Each room is large an the balconies were amazing. The house seemed to go on and on with space. It was equipped with everything we needed down to the kitchen utensils, floats for the pool, beach chairs. The beach is a easy walk acrossed the street. Beach parking a couple blocks away if you decide to drive the golf cart. Makes taking coolers ect to the beach. If you are thinking about this rental search no further.
