So lucky this was available last minute!!
It was bright, airy, clean and convenient! Had plenty of space for our family of 8. Loved the location, walking to Pier Park and restaurants.
The host was really responsive and we really had everything we need. Even extra beach chairs and a boogie board.
Security at parking garage; $50 for parking
Beach chairs and umbrellas are extra, but we brought are own
Setup early if you want front row at beach.
Elevators wait was minimal, no more than 10 mins at peak times.
Great location! The tiki bars and emerald hub made it very convenient!
Things I would bring to the condo:
Extra trash bags, sponge, laundry detergent, hand soap, toiletries, beach towels.
Other than, it was well stocked including extra pillows, blankets and towels!

Great location and close to activities within walking distance. You park across the street on a
Parking deck and go up several elevators to get to room. No early check in. Good description which is pretty accurate with and excellent view with nice private balcony!

Only things we could recommend would be replacing the master bed mattress, it is caved in and not level. The garbage disposal was not working. Otherwise the property was outstanding and we have no conplaints. Thanks Realjoy for providing a great rental property for our family to vacation in.

Good location. Walk to the pier and stores. Beach is nice out front. The building does have small open air corridors. If the weather gets sketchy the corridors are windy enough to take your hat away. RealJoy is a good proactive company staying in contact and easily accessible via text message. Certainly beats a big name hotel stay!

We stayed in a unit on 6th floor at Calypso Towers. The unit was beautifully decorated. Beds were 2 kings and 2 bunk beds and they are extremely comfortable. Communication was very good before arriving to the unit so we had no issues getting checked in. Didn’t need them during our stay. Only issue we had during our stay was the master bathroom shower squealing while the shower was going but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall our stay was excellent and will definitely stay again!!!

Location location location. This was a fantastic condo with a beautiful view of the ocean and pool from the large balcony on the 6th floor. Comfortable beds and plenty of room for 5 of us. Note that the bunk beds are on the smaller side and more suited for children. Easy access to the beautiful beach. Lots of rafts and beach toys provided in closet. Minor issues with the beach chair service; but once it was rectified, it was a great service to be included. I would recommend the Calypso over all. This particular unit was very nicely decorated and we were very happy with it. On a side note, you are only permitted to use the ocean front pools if you are staying in towers 1&2; which we very much enjoyed. We were not able to use the pool at tower 3. Be sure to stop over at the Hub across the street for some tasty breakfast or lunch. The Island Time cruise is a must as well! Don’t wait, just book it! You won’t be disappointed.

Proximity to the beach, shops, food, Pier Park Beach access. The stairs leading to the beach were rough on the feet.. actually causing uncomfortable pain and bone spurs and almost burns on you feet. Need to have showers at the bottom of the stairs if nothing else. Need to have ramp access too!! A lot of people have wagons and the stairs make it almost impossible to get to/from the beach. The Tiki Bar ran out hot dogs and sausage dogs for several days.

We thought this was a very beautiful place and location! The beach is literally in your backyard and we would 10/10 stay here again. We had groceries delivered from Walmart, but it’s only like 4 blocks away and Target too! Honestly, everything is within walking distance which is ideal. I thought maybe there might be paper plates, coffee filters, salt & pepper, simple things of excess left behind by other renters so I didn’t order a few things like that but there wasn’t, though I certainly didn’t expect it. So keep in mind if you’re cooking there for most of your meals you’ll need everything, but there are more than enough dishes and cookware!
The people are so kind at Calypso; owners, travelers, and staff! The front desk staff were so helpful starting from day 1 when we arrived about 4 hours before we could check in. They let us and other travelers in the same situation put our bags under the stairs so we could enjoy ourselves. Just a great vibe there all together! We didn’t rent a car and had more than enough to do. I would have sat at the beach all day everyday, but we had 4 kids, 3 of them teens, to entertain. Outlaw Rentals is right down the street so we rented a golf cart for a day and we all loved that! We also spent a lot of time at Pier Park which is also right down the street. Our boys loved going to visit the Pier to watch all the fisherman catching sting rays and sharks too! We rented Jetson e bikes from Bike the Beach and loved them! Just be careful because after one broke on my son I read reviews of similar malfunctions due to the design, but we’d definitely do it again! So all in all after this long winded review I think it’s most helpful to know that;
1.) You will love this beautiful condo and all the amenities! ?
2.) You DON’T need to rent a car to do it all!
3.) Calypso was a good vibe for sure!

6 of us came down for a Girls Trip and overall enjoyed our stay at this property. The condo itself was very clean, but the only complaint about cleanliness is to purchase a new shower caddy in the master bath shower since the current one has mildew all over and smells when showering. The smoke detector in the master bedroom started beeping on our second day in so we called the number provided for maintenance, waited on hold for about 10mins, and were told someone would come that evening to fix it, but no one ever did. We tried to fix it ourselves, and as instructed by the operator, but it wasn't a model that you could safely remove the cover or batteries. The washing machine may need to be maintenanced, as our first load and all others afterwards had handfuls of sand that came out on our clothing each time so we had to remove and rewash the clothing. We never put anything in without thoroughly shaking it out so we think it's built up in the drum from previous uses. The elevators were very slow and the restrooms in the lobby had issues the whole time we were there. We wanted to use the gym provided, but it was very dirty and equipment wasn't working, so we went to a nearby gym instead. Overall, we had a great time at this property and we found ways to deal with the little hiccups along the way. The location was perfect for enjoying the beach or walking down to Pier Park for shopping, good food, and drinks (at Tootsies!) Bartenders, Austin and Mere were so much fun, took great care of us at the tiki bar on the property, and always said hello every time we walked by. The beach chair staff, Tyler, Odie, and Andrew were also wonderful and helped to make our stay on the beach even better! A great location for a getaway with fun nearby!

The location of this condo is excellent. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants with plenty to do for teens. My only complaint is that the kitchen wasn’t very equipped. No potholders or storage containers for leftovers. This is probably being a little picky and it really wasn’t a huge deal. The condo was very clean and beds were comfortable. We were bummed that one of the pools was closed during our stay which made the other pool extremely crowded and almost impossible to access. Also, a grill was advertised on the listing but there wasn’t actually a grill. Again, not a huge deal. We would definitely stay again for the location.

There was an incident in the parking garage that was traumatizing to our family. We had difficulty getting in/out of parking garage due to scanning issues. One of our boys ended up getting sick. I woke up with horrible itchy rash on my arms and legs that got worse everyday. Needless to say, some of us never made it to the pool or beach. Condo was very nice, HOA very helpful and supportive. The vacation experience, much to be desired unfortunately.
