Along the west of 30A, just east of Miramar Beach, you’ll find the luxury gated community that is Cypress Dunes. Here begins the 18 mile bike path that stretches all the way to Rosemary Beach. You will love neighborhood amenities here that include gulf views from the infinity edged swimming pool (seasonally heated for spring and fall school breaks and the holidays), outdoor fireplace, large hot tub, fitness center, and a second-level sundeck overlooking the Gulf and Coastal Dunes Lake. 30A is a fantastic destination, the beaches are some of the world’s best with sugar white sand and emerald green waters. You will find plenty of beach accesses along a 17 mile stretch of Santa Rosa Beach. It boasts unique shopping, fantastic cuisine and the incredible architecture that makes 30A famous. There are activities for everyone; kayak rentals, bike rentals, paragliding, fishing, golfing, hiking, swimming, tennis -- you'll find it all right here.
The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Seahorse Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 715 feet out from the Topsail Hill Preserve State Park access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Seahorse Reef is at a depth of 13-18 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

Loved the house, neighborhood, & pool. The gated privacy of the neighborhood was an additional bonus with 2 pools and only neighbors of that gated community allowed access to the private pool. We come to Destin every year for a business conference and will 100% re-rent this home again.- Posted: 7/21/2024

Jenkins Family Vacation
We've vacationed in Cypress Dunes for over 10 years. Our family has grown (new grandbaby) and therefore our need for a larger home has as well. We so enjoyed our stay. We will be booking again for next year. We do wish there had been a bit of a better effort to get us checked in earlier. That is always a nice allowance that keeps us renting the same spaces year after year. The gate code was incorrect and it took management another 30 min. to respond, we ended up looking up old gate codes from previous Cypress Dunes stays and were able to find one that still worked. The house actually sleeps more than advertised. Families should know. There are 4 bedrooms with three sleeping 2 persons each and a bunk room that is a triple bunk bed. That adds 3 more persons. Then there is a pull out sofa that "could" sleep 2 people. So. The home can sleep 11 very easily and comfortably. That is wonderful news, specially for us as our family grows. Thank you again for an incredible stay. The home is lovely. *housekeeping note: the washer needs to be cleaned and drained, there is a stuffy stale water smell and I know it's the front loader because mine did the same...a good cleaning and good drain of ALL water will remedy that! Great location, the beach is about a mile away and we rode the golf cart there everyday! Great central location in 30A for anywhere you’re wanting to visit. We loved the pools on the property as well. The house was clean and cute and we loved sitting on the front porch!- Posted: 6/18/2022

Fantastic location near Dune Allen, wonderful amenities including 2 community pools
This is a private beautiful property in a new development off of 30A in Dune Allen. The pools and amenities in both phases (this house is located in phase 2) are fantastic. The location is ideal as we were a 3-4 minute drive from Dune Allen beach access, and it’s on the less crowded end of 30a. (The house is about 1.4 miles from the beach so we elected to drive.) Cypress Dunes is away from the hustle and bustle of 30a particularly during such a high season (stayed July 2021). It’s a peaceful and secluded development near the state park. Very slim view of the gulf from the phase 1 pool since it’s farther inland. The house is nicely decorated and accommodated our family of four very well. Rooms were comfortable and all had tv’s. Great bunk beds for the kids (which actually had a secret trundle as well.) I suspect the house was recently renovated, and there are a few finishing touches to be completed but these are very minor. The property managers were very responsive and easily contacted via text. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this rental property and Cypress Dunes. We will certainly stay in Cypress Dunes again when we return!- Posted: 7/18/2021

I love the house. It’s clean, quiet, and very relaxing. It’s very convenient to get to the beach. ?
