Set up on stilts, this lovely cottage features a huge screened-in porch with loads of comfortable seating. The galley kitchen has everything you'll need and you'll also have the convenience of a stackable washer and dryer. With a queen bed in the master bedroom, a twin over full bunk bed in the guest bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living room, this cozy cottage sleeps a total of 7 guests comfortably. There is also an outdoor shower, to rise off all the sugar white sands after a day at the beach! Relax on the screened-in porch and embrace the calming sounds of Grayton Beach or head to the emerald green waters less than 300yds away. Come fall in love with Grayt Escape and make it your family vacation tradition!
Grayton Beach is a laid-back, organic beach town with old-style wooden beach bungalows and narrow neighborhood streets lined with live oaks. You'll also get a “hippie kitsch” feel having the iconic Red Bar a stroll away. Take the neighborhood boardwalk to the beach or hop on the bikes and head 2.4 miles to explore Seaside. This cool little beach town is also home to the diverse coastal ecosystems of Western Lake and Grayton Beach State Park, and is a gateway to a large expanse of sugar-white beach that is a haven for fishermen, boaters, and beachcombers alike.

Grayton Beach not only provides you with stunning views, it provides you with activities for everyone; kayak rentals, bike rentals, paragliding, fishing, hiking, and snorkeling -- you'll find it all right here!
Enjoy this Funky, Free-spirited town where you will find quaint historic cottages next to modern beach homes. It’s an eclectic beach burg with good times, picket fences, funky art, and great dining and shopping. You’ll enjoy the many shopping and dining options such as Grayton Seafood Co, or Trattoria Borago. This is much more than a cool beach town, this location is the best of both worlds, enjoy a quiet relaxing getaway while still having a lot of action packed activities at your fingertips.
The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Sea Turtle Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 783 feet out from the Grayton Beach State Park access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Sea Turtle Reef is at a depth of 12-19 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

Perfect quiet family vacation

Had an excellent time! House was very cozy and loved the included bikes! We used them everyday biking to and from the beach. The covered porch was perfect for winding down after a long day at the beach. Wish we had stayed longer! Would definitely book again!- Posted: 6/4/2023

We loved it!
Our place was very clean! No cobwebs on the porch like some places have. The bikes were in excellent condition. The beach was not overly crowded like Destin tends to be. There were plenty of places to visit within biking distance. I love that the cabin is on the edge of the neighborhood with the woods right across from us. There wasn’t a lot of traffic on our street. I was at peace sipping wine on the screened in porch with no mosquitos or other bugs bothering me.- Posted: 5/28/2023

Great location and house
Clean, convenient and love the area. Bikes were great. Few basic amenities would have been nice as we arrived by plane i.e beach chairs, beach towels, kitchen basics like foil, Saran Wrap. Lighting in bathrooms not great . Regardless, comfortable and enjoyed it all!- Posted: 4/27/2023

The house was perfect for our family of four. Our college age daughters took turns sleeping on the upper twin bunk. We all loved the outdoor shower after the beach, which is a short walk down the street followed by a short hike on a sandy path. My husband loved biking to the local coffee shop and checking out the surrounding area in the morning when it was cooler. The limited beach access meant smaller crowds. This spot was great for a weekend beach getaway. Quiet street near dunes and forest. We loved the screened in porch area. I wouldnt recommend any more than 4 adults for this spot because it can get tight inside, but I would come back again for sure.- Posted: 5/23/2022
