House of Blues

This was our first vacation in Grayton Beach. The beach is the best beach we have seen after many years of vacationing in Florida. The grandchildren loved playing in the clear water, soft white sand and also the dune lake adjacent to the beach. It is a little bit of a walk to the beach area but a lot of it is through a shaded walkway through a natural area...very nice. A lot of the beaches in this area are private so you have to walk a little way to get to the beach area you can use...well worth it. The house was very nice and beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed the wraparound porch and the kitchen is well equipped with whatever you might need. The location of the house in the neighborhood is ideal...close to one of the pools and to the beach access trail.

We had a wonderful week with our adult children and grandkids. We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely, spacious house that had everything we needed. The neighborhood is lovely. Driving distance to our favorite place, Grayton Beach, was short. Beds are very comfortable. Port-a-crib and bunk beds were perfect for the kids. Enjoyed the front porch. We had a few missteps on the stairs. Not the owner’s fault, but just a word of caution to be careful.

Wonderful place to stay! We had 4 adults, 3 teenagers, a 5 year old, and two babies. Everyone had adequate space. House is beautiful. Easy walk to the beach. Great pool area. Overall perfect location. Looking forward to booking again in the future!

The house was amazing. It was very clean when we arrived and the housekeeper, Marcia, met the 1st group of us when we arrived. The owner was very prompt to respond to my questions before and after booking. The kids loved the bunk room and we loved the space. The front porch was a good place for morning coffee. The boardwalk to the beach was nice and maintained and a small walk to beach, which was so nice and private. The highlight was seeing a momma bear and cub in the front yard and tree. Kids and adults alike was in awe lol. This is definitely a place I would recommend and would love to visit again.

Would have been perfect if the refrigerator had not broken upon our arrival. The owner was clearly not informed. Michael and Marsha did their best to help with ice and coolers to hold the "must have items". The house was beautiful and the kitchen was well stocked. We didn't let the refrigerator get us down. They had it fixed as soon as possible. We plan on returning in the fall.

We had the best time on our trip! The location was perfect! The walk to the beach is only 5-7 minutes and one of the neighborhood pools is super close! We went to Blue Mountain Creamery several nights and even walked one night. We enjoyed taking the public shuttle into seaside so that we didn’t have to deal with trying to park there. We’ve stayed in Seagrove and Seaside several times, but we really loved Grayton for how much calmer and less people! The property managers were great as well! We will be back!

Super lovely house in a tidy quiet neighborhood. Great layout in the house. The one time I don’t bring shampoo, the place didn’t stock it with soaps, but most everything else was provided as a starter. The beach access was fabulous! I’ve felt like there was a lot of check out cleaning request that should have been covered by the cleaning fee we had to pay. Other than that I would highly recommend and stay again!

Just what a large size family is looking for! The accommodations are very adequate and the location to the pool and the beach are the best in the neighborhood! The peaceful environment is hard to find these days and we highly recommend this location. This is the third year we stayed and the owner Michael is easy to reach and very friendly to work with the few times we contacted him over these three years.

The home was great. Only had one problem the refrigerator quit working properly. The lady never got back with us we had to throw away a lot of food. That was costly.

Location was ideal, close to everything, but in a quiet, gated community with a very nice pool and minutes from the beach. The house layout was perfect with the large porch and bedrooms especially the one with two bunk beds and trundle bed. Looking forward to future visits.

The house of blues hdd as d plenty of room for our family of 10 adults and 2 infants. It was clean and very cozy. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. The neighborhood was great with the pools, fitness center and tennis courts. The walk to the beach was a little longer than anticipated but no stairs and non strenuous. The communication with the property manager was prompt and very helpful. We had a great time and very comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again!!

The house was huge, clean, and beautiful. It felt like a home and fit 11 adults in it very comfortably. The walk to the beach is truly only 5-10 minutes depending on your speed. The boardwalk is shaded and leads you straight onto the beach where there almost no crowds (we went on a Holiday Weekend and we’re shocked with how few people there were). Michael was so quick to reply if we had any problems and helped suggest delicious nearby restaurants! There’s also a nearby local ice cream shop! 10/10 would recommend and would definitely go back! The House of Blues on Grayton Beach in Santa Rosa was a must!

Mike's house was just perfect for our family of six. The house was very clean and was decorated beautifully. It just felt so comfortable and great environment to relax. We love the private beach access across the street. And also used the tennis courts quite a bit. Big plus. And of course great eating places in the area and usually finished the night with Blue Mountain Creamery. We will most definitely rent this house again.

We loved staying at Michael's house. It is a beautiful home and the space fit our needs well and we loved the location. It is a quieter 30 A neighborhood but close to the hustle and bustle if you want to go there. The beach was beautiful, private, with a gorgeous boardwalk leading there and great big beautiful sand dunes when you arrive. The beach and water were as beautiful as expected and even though it was stormy for much of our stay we were able to find plenty of moments to enjoy it. I have 2 suggestions for Michael- Beach towels would have been awesome and some extra kitchen towels. Other than that- it was perfect! Thank you for sharing your property- we all enjoyed our time there.

The house was beautiful, very clean, well-equipped, and had lots of space for our party of 9 to spend time together, or apart. The front porch and upstairs balcony were the perfect places to relax. The beach was a short walk, and the kids enjoyed the heated pool in the neighborhood. Nice area for biking and jogging.

The House of Blues is a clean, large, welcoming retreat for our family and friends group. The property manager was great at communicating and made our stay so smooth by letting us stay in touch about any questions. The walk to the beach was scenic and peaceful (maybe just 8-10 min) and very manageable with kids of all ages. Very private and clean beach (white sands clearer water than Destin area waters). We will definitely be back to the Santa Rosa beach area in the future & we will keep the House of Blues as our #1 choice of vacation home to stay in.

We enjoyed our stay, plenty of room for everyone and a great setup as far as bedrooms and bathrooms. Neighborhood is in a great location and the walk to the beach is beautiful. Our teenage kids loves renting bikes (Big Daddy’s bike rental) and riding along 30A. The house is close to Seaside and many restaurants.

House of Blues was a great place to stay. It was accessible to the beach - use a buggy for transport. We had no problems getting to the beach with our toddler. The house had great amenities and the kitchen and grill made cooking at home a snap. If you have a toddler who is too big for a pak n play, then bring a bed guard so they can use the lower bunks. Michael was extremely responsive with any issues that we had - very few. We would definitely come back. Thank you for being a great host.

Grayton beach is hands down one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever visited. We were suppose to be in the Bahamas, but Covid cancel the trip. I’m almost certain Grayton is more beautiful that Bahamas! The house was perfect for location and for our family of 6! Michael was always available for anything we needed. We will definitely be back, and already looking at dates for 2021

We kept alive our families tradition of Thanksgiving at the beach at "The House of Blues". The unit is well equipped, great layout and perfect for Thanksgiving with the kids and grandchildren. We had 7 in the house and accompanied our group perfectly. It is a great neighborhood with a private beach access across 30A which is a definite plus in that area. We will be back next year.

Everyone loved the floor plan of the house and how close it was to the walkway to the beach. This house had some great extra touches that made our stay more enjoyable from the 2 drawer high-end dishwasher, 2 separate AC units for each floor, to the extra large hot water heater all combined for a pleasant experience. The kitchen was well equipped for any type of cooking. Also there was a beach wagon to help get all the toys and boogie boards to the beach. We will definitely stay here again.

The House of Blues was perfect for our group of 9- two families with 5 kids in between us. The two large master suites were well utilized. The house had all the comforts of home- even a Kieurig coffee maker! It's about a 7-10 minute walk to the beach, but the boardwalk is beutiful and mostly shaded. Would love to rent this home again. Uncrowded beach area and the kids loved playing in the lake overflow. House of Blues will always have a a special place in my heart. Thank you for a great family vacation!!!

My family and I were all very pleased with our stay at House of Blues. The house is very clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and well maintained. We had 10 people and the house did not feel crowded. All of the instructions we received ahead of our visit were helpful and accurate. I wish the weather had been a little warmer (50s and 60s the duration of our visit) but that's our fault for coming in early March. Thanks for an outstanding place for our family to be together. Our son was married in Grayton Beach and the rest of the family stayed at House of Blues -- us, 3 adult kids and 3 adult guests. It was the perfect spot for us! Beach access is simple and nice walk. The house was clean and the kitchen very well stocked. Elaine was a generous host. And there was plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the fall (but still hot) days! We enjoyed every bit of our stay at the House of Blues! We were looking for a house for a relaxing girls weekend and that is exactly what we got! The location was great! The walk to the beach wasn't bad, especially since we had a few wagons to carry all of our stuff. The house was very clean and nicely decorated! My only complaint is that we were not provided toilet paper or trash bags, so we had to make a trip to the store to get those items. I would definitely recommend this house and I will consider it for future stays on 30a.

Convenient to the beach and biking trails, this house is PERFECT!! A beautiful porch for relaxing in the evenings, and a community pool just steps away make this a perfect home for families with children. We enjoyed riding our bikes to Blue Mountain Creamery and Seaside. We put our beach things in a wagon and were on the beach in 10 minutes. Would highly commend this home! ❤️

Our family of 11 was able to stay comfortably without falling all over each other. We really appreciated the wagon to help cart our items to the beach which was a short walk away. As soon as we walked through the front door, we fellt like we had come home. House of Blues was a beautiful well-kept home that comfortably met the needs of our family members, ranging in age from 5 months to 77 years old. We loved spending time on the front porch in the beautiful wicker rocking chairs. Everyone had their own space to escape to at the end of a busy day at the beach or shopping. The owner was amazing to work with and readily available to answer any questions, regardless of how trivial! We made sweet memories in a new place that felt like an old friend.

My husband and four kids stayed at this beautiful home for a week. Everything in the house was so comfortable and nice. The location is great! It's in a quiet gated community with two pools and walking distance to the beach. We all had such a great time and loved staying here. My kids are still talking about the house!

Just returned from one of the best beach vacations we've ever had & that includes Hawaii & Guam. This beach house is truly the best; location, location, location!!! We rented bikes and rode to the popular WaterColor/Seaside beaches for some shopping and dining. But the location of this house & the beaches of Grayton cannot be beat. It is a short pleasant stroll, that I looked forward to everyday, down the boardwalk to the beautiful, uncrowded, private beach. The owner, Susan, was fantastic to work with & got back to me immediately following an inquiry. The home is so beautifully decorated; reminds me of a Pottery Barn catalog. Lots of room for three families (11 total), with all the amenities one could ask for. We have already booked for next year.
