Loved this condo - it was perfect for my family's stay in Destin. The furniture and beds were comfortable, the view and balcony were a highlight, and everything was clean. The resort is starting to feel it's age, but the pools and common areas are maintained well. My only complaint is that there were hardly any consumable items in the apartment. Detergent for one load of laundry, 3 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people on a 6-night stay, no oil or salt or anything basic for cooking. I would have liked to see a few more items stocked in the condo for guests.

Our stay was amazing! The place was very clean and the beds super comfortable. We loved the lagoon pool, it was perfect for my son and huge. The only negative I would say is that they didn’t have our reservation details at the resort but we just had to call the number and they emailed over the details to the resort within seconds. Also the “public beach” section across the resort is fairly small and can get crowded. The rest of the area was roped off and marked private for hotels. I would suggest you rent a vehicle and drive to other public beaches where it’s not sectioned off as private by the other hotels so it’s more enjoyable. Overall our stay was very relaxing, family friendly and amazing!

The walk to the beach definitely was tiring towards the end of our vacation but Lance and his shuttle service was a premier service offer through the condo! All of the staff were very friendly and attentive and we would definitely recommend this location/condo to friends!?

Overall the condo is very nice. The pool is huge, and it’s conveniently located near grocery stores and restaurants. We really only had one con; beach access. The beach access is not as easily accessible as described. All of the condos across the street have their “beach” roped off for their guests only. The public beach is only about 10-15 yards and it fills up QUICK! So you need to just plan to go to the state park early, or another location and setup there. You can also rent chairs in front of The Back Porch restaurant to be able to access their beach. Which we did do that one day. It was just an additional costs we weren’t planning for.
Other than that for the resort the parking garage was easy to access, we always saw security walking the grounds at night, and the staff at the Palms were very nice.
For SunJoy, they were fantastic too. We had a few issues in the condo while we were there and they were quick to respond and send maintenance.

Place was extremely clean!!!!!! Like super. It smelt sooooo good. It has everything I needed to cook… I prefer cooking homemade meals. The sheets were all clean, no stains or smells. Everything was as described. Short walk to beach or a bus can take you. Gym on site. Super convenient. Cute coffee shop on site as well. I loved this place so much and will recommend to all my family and friends. No complaints. Very happy with my experience here.

I absolutely loved this property!!!! The property was very clean and located near many restaurants and other tourist attractions. I spent a lot of time enjoying the amazing view and listening to live entertainment from the balcony. I would definitely recommend this property to others.

Very convenient and felt safe. We rented a car which made it easy to get around town. The beach closest to the palms was great but did get pretty crowded so it was nice to venture to different beaches in the area. Overall great trip and would definitely recommend The Palms resort

This place was a last minute booking for a mini family vacation. Awesome place for families with young kids. We enjoyed our stay, the amenities, and the location- the shuttle bus transports you to the public beach right across the Main Street, or a short walk. Went with my girlfriends for our annual beach trip and it was a great time! The pool and hotel were beautiful! Great to have a coffee and bar/restaurant in case you need to grab anything. Would definitely stay here again!

The only thing that we learned about choosing a location that was away from the beach is that the public beach is the only section we could go to, and it was a very small sectioned off part of the beach. So it was very crowded! As far as just the stay at the condo, it was great and a lot of fun!

Clean, well appointed 2 bed/2 bath. Great balcony views of main pool and distant beach. Nice decor and layout. Resort has accessibility to coffee shop, restaurant and open-air bar area.
Second bedroom small, but nice to have washer/dryer.
Local free beach access only a 5-8 min walk across main traffic road (condo not beachfront). No designated beachfront accessibility thru condo/resort, so most use public beach access areas.

Very clean accommodations! The beds, and furniture are so comfortable, and the balcony view is relaxing for coffee in the morning!
-Pro tip: if you’re staying a few days, get a rental car!! The condo parking garage accommodations are convenient and safe.
Having a rental/ or vehicle will help so much for getting groceries, sightseeing, driving to the beach, or just going to dinner anywhere nearby.
?Very clean pool!
-Note: Coolers aren’t allowed at the pool and neither is drinking while in the pool/water. Something just not in the details until you get there and we felt was nice to know in hindsight.
-Don’t Forget your own beach towels! The washer and dryer in the unit came in handy for these.
Check out is early (10AM) which may or may not matter to some.

First the master shower issue that you have read on other reviews. Tilt the shower head as low as possible, block the back wall of shower with the shower curtain. Place a towel on outside of tub in that corner and all should be good. Great water pressure for getting all that sand off! The beds are so, so comfortable. My 13 y/o raved about the great internet and “the Ping was amazing”! The condo had everything we needed. The pool is huge. It was a wonderful week!

The hotel is close to the beach, with a great outdoor pool and restaurant. I highly recommend staying there if you want to enjoy a great vacation in Destin FL.

We loved the decor and the area of the room/resort. Best pool around! Shuttle service was very nice. Only negative we had was that we couldn’t shower in the main shower. The shower head sprays the inside wall and all the water runs down the back to the floor and flooded the bathroom floor. Outside of that we had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. We will be back!

I love how updated the space was! Loved the natural light and being able to wake up to the big floor to ceiling windows. I really enjoyed the fact that it has a washer and dryer too! It was a great place to stay! Had to walk to the beach, crossing a busy highway, but it wasn’t too bad! The resort has lots of amenities!

This was my first AirBnB rental. This was a last minute rental (for Monday) on Sunday after getting married on Saturday. The pickings were slim due to it being the week of Labor Day.
The place was stylish, very clean and spacious. Being on the 6th floor offered an awesome high view of the ocean across the street and pool area. Pool area is very big allowing lots of space for social distancing.
Felt secure with cameras everywhere, and garages/ buildings that required codes.
Easy access to restaurants of all cuisines, price points and even Walmart if you wish to cook at the condo.
I would definitely stay again and recommend.

Great place. We had a great time. Great view of pool area and the gulf out the windows! Won’t get the great pools anywhere else. We stayed in early March so big pool was way too cold but heated pool was great! Whole property is beautiful. Felt very secure and safe. Destin has the friendliest people!
I don’t think it specifies in the description but the bed in the second room is I believe a full with a single trundle bed. This actually worked great for our two kids. The beds are SO comfortable!
The place had everything that we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. Extra pillows and blankets are provided if you needed them.
You won’t regret it!
