Snowbird Season runs November thru February. For a quote, select an arrival date (must be the 1st day of the month) and a departure date (must be the 1st day of a subsequent month). Located on 15 beautiful acres, The Palms of Destin Resort and Conference Center offers an unbeatable, upscale experience in the heart of Destin at an affordable price. As an exclusive guest you will enjoy Destin’s largest lagoon pool beneath swaying palms or simply enjoy our many amenities including kid's activities, fitness center, kids' playground, tennis and basketball courts. You'll also be within walking distance of Joe's Crab Shack, Bubba Gump Shrimp Factory, The Back Porch (a Destin classic), Ruth's Chris Steak House, Jim-N-Nick's BBQ and Hooters.

The 11,000 square foot, 259,000 gallon zero entry pool is Destin’s largest lagoon pool! You'll be blown away by the 5 dancing waterfalls, walking bridges, and spacious lounging area. There's a 21,000 gallon heated pool, children's splash area, and whirlpool spa.

The Palms of Destin Resort features a 2,265 square foot state-of-the-art fitness center including elliptical cardio treadmills, cross trainers, bikes and summit trainers each having a personal entertainment system.

The Palms of Destin offers full size basketball courts and two lighted tennis courts, with complimentary equipment available from guest services in the resort lobby. The Palms of Destin also offers lessons and clinics taught by USPTA and USPTR tennis professionals.

Seasonally, the resort offers a complimentary three-minute air-conditioned beach shuttle to the beach access beside the Back Porch restaurant. Additional shuttles run to Destin Commons and Harborwalk Village along with Henderson State Park for a small fee. Please inquire with the front desk for information on shuttle times. The Palms is a smoke free complex with an array of amenities. Some amenities are occasionally closed due to unforeseen circumstances.

Area Attractions:
Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

Overall, we loved it. Room was what we expected. Facilities and pool area were perfect. Our kids loved it. Only thing issues we had was that all the dishes and silverware I had to wash before we could use them because they had dried food on it still. Also, main bedroom mattress was terrible and killed our backs.

Great place to stay with kids. Pool area was great . They had lots of stuff to use for the beach . No beach towels though, so we had to run out and get some . Beach is across the street . Restaurant had live music nightly which was a plus .

Beautiful condo. Open floor plan. Gorgeous views of the sunset. About a 15-minute walk to the beach (with kids). Appreciated the wagon with a shade umbrella and 4 beach chairs. The bedding is comfortable. Bunk beds are full-size (not twin) each. The only thing that would have helped is to have a Smart TV setup in the living room to watch with family. There is a smart TV in the master bedroom. The building is old but clean and well-maintained. If you like good customer service, do not eat at the restaurant downstairs. There are pools for all ages. Beautiful poolside landscaping. The location is central. A shuttle to the beach was appreciated as well as a closed garage parking. Next time we will look for something closer to the water to optimize vacation time. Overall this is a very nice place.

This was a great place for a family vacation. The resort pool was huge and mostly shallow which was great for kids. Nice gym and the coffee at the coffee shop was really good.
The condo was just as described but they had some extras I didn’t see in the description in the listed amenities. They have a wagon and beach chairs available!
If you are active military or a veteran; Elgin Air Force Base as a private beach about 10 minutes down the road for only $5. We went 2 days and it’s awesome. Private beach with restrooms and pavilions and no knuckleheads. You can rent umbrellas and chairs there plus the have beverages and snacks to purchase.
Tons of stuff to do around the resort and plenty of restaurants to choose from. I’d go back.

Palms of Destin has a huge pool, a playground, and a basketball court that my husband and son really enjoyed. You have to drive to get to the beach but we're ok with that. Henderson State Beach is the closest to this location, which is better than Miramar Beach, in my opinion. The place is clean, near to many activities and restaurants. The condo also has a great view of the sunset. Condos with pool view cost more; I'm glad I chose this condo and spent less. Just note that the washer/dryer is inside the 2nd bedroom and that the 2nd bedroom does not have an actual door to the connecting bathroom. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
