This newly built two story home offers a spacious getaway perfect for spending quality time with family and friends while on vacation! The kitchen is a culinary dream, with everything you need to masterfully create meals. Prepare anything from simple beach snacks to full-course dinners in the well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar with four seven counter stools. The oversized pantry is large enough to store with all the items you’ll need for the week and more! The large farmhouse table is great for both dining or an evening of board games. Outside, there's a furnished balcony on the second floor and a furnished patio on the lower level. For sleeping arrangements, on the top level you will find the master suite with a king size bed, stunning walk-in shower and double vanities - giving ample space to retreat. A separate retreat for guests is also located on this floor and features a king size bed with a separate bathroom. On the bottom floor are the three remaining bedrooms. The intimate bunkbeds tucked away in the study are a perfect place for kids to retreat after a full day at the beach! Adjacent to the bunkroom are the final two guest rooms both with a Queen-sized bed and a walk out to the patio, perfect for enjoying the sunrise or sunset! We loved our stay, the home was beautiful and right on the bay, within walking distance to a beach and close driving distance to all attractions. The bunk bed room is not a bedroom, it’s super small and if you have someone who doesn’t like small spaces it will be an issue. The kitchen has all the dishes and cookware you could ever need but there are zero spices not even salt and pepper so plan on buying everything you need to cook. We loved the house, my son is stationed at Eglin and it was a short drive for him and we could walk to the beach, access
We had Plenty of space, the location was good not in super busy area but still still close enough to the hot spots and the neighborhood was quiet. The beds were comfy and the kitchen has every dish or pot and pan you could ever need. Plenty of towels for showering and lots of toys for the beach and yard games for just chilling at the house. The bunk bed room is way too small for the amount of beds. You cannot use it as a real bedroom for anyone especially if they have issues with small enclosed spaces. I had an amazing stay at this property! The house was spotlessly clean, which made me feel right at home. Its location is unbeatable—just a 3-minute walk to the beach, which was super convenient. The best part was the view of the Santa Rosa Sound; the sunsets were absolutely breathtaking. We had such an great time at this house. The location is so convenient, near by shopping stores, restaurants, dolphin shows… The rooms were clean, especially the water view is amazing. And there are so many things fun activities to do for adults and for kids! The beach was absolutely beautiful and was just a nice short walk. The community pool was clean and refreshing. Nice vacation area and place to stay, lots of room at this RealJoy location for the family of 10. Short walk to the ocean, but after this first walking trip with the little ones, we decided to drive to the public parking area for all other trips.
Our trip was loaded with lots of events with the main one being Ocean Water Fun.
Other fun events were mini golf, dolphin tour, golfing, offshore fishing, boardwalk fun and shopping, and of course lots of food to keep everyone happy.- Posted: 7/25/2024

RealJoy is a great responsive host, and the townhouse is awesome. it has everything you need and more for a beach vacation. our family includes kids from 1 year old to grandma at 70, and everyone loves it. The house has so much to offer, including beach toys for kids, adults, tents, floats, life vests, etc. basically anything you can think of. We love the bay view, the kids love the shallow water right at the back yard, the white sand area, and the pool is a plus. Had a fabulous stay. Everything from dishes pillows, extra blankets, and linens was what made to stay. An awesome vacation. Only thing we found not fabulous was the hand soaps were hard to even lather like a cheap motel and there was absolutely no seasonings salt or pepper, or otherwise so advising future guest to bring their own soaps and seasonings for meals would have been appropriate. The townhouse we ended up staying in was beautiful however we had originally chose a house in a different location. Real joy changed our location 5 days before our vacation due to maintenance.
I feel like the house we originally chose should not have been listed as available if it was under maintenance. With that being said RealJoy did provide us with free tickets for an excursion which we all enjoyed, it was just frustrating to change locations 5 days before our planned trip. There was also some poor communication with the check in time. Overall it was a decent experience.
The home we stayed in was beautiful and in a great location just in a different area than what we had planned.- Posted: 3/18/2023
