As our first time ever being in Florida and renting a condo, we had such an amazing time. The Condo was very well kept, spacious and had all the amenities. The beach was beautiful. The only problem we had with our stay was that we wished we had stayed a few more days. Hoping to be able to return next year, and would definitely stay in 202 again.

This is our second year at Pelican Isle but first year in this condo. Everything is updated and very nice looking compared to some of the other condos. Overall we were very happy with our stay and plan on booking this condo again next year. Our only complaint is that some of the dishes (the skillets) were very visibly dirty. It looked like the previous guest cooked with them & then just put them away without washing.

The unit was clean and had everything you could think of to help make your stay easy and relaxing. The only thing that we would change is that the sofa sagged a lot in the middle. It was a sofa bed so we could understand the usage that it had. It didn't change the relaxing stay that we enjoyed because how can you get stressed with a view like that?! We would definitely stay here again.

The location is awesome near the end of Okaloosa Island, with uncrowded beaches and a private feel. This particular unit was easily accessed from the elevator or the stairs on the corner of the building. Parking was never and issue and we were always able to park close to the building.The unit itself impeccably clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for our stay. We never had any issues during our stay.The check-in experience was awesome. The lady from Brooks and Shorey actually called us to let us know the unit was ready early and what our code was. That's awesome service. There was also an Alexa in our room that could tell us about things to do in the area and help with our reservation. That was cool!The property was very well taken-care-of, with any mess or issue taken care of very quickly. The hot tub was down for entire stay unfortunately, but I can't pin that on the rental company so it's just a side mention to check to see if it's available, if that's a deal breaker for you. All of this for an extremely reasonable price for a well-maintained and updated condo felt like a slam dunk deal. We will definitely book this again!

The pictures don’t do justice. I absolutely loved the condo and all of the decor. It fit two adults and four kids (14,12,7,5) perfectly with no sleeping issues. I would most definitely use this condo again. Some of the perks: -second floor room with a great view of the beach while still being able to see the pool. -close to the stair case that leads right to the parking lot (does also have an elevator but is a longer walk) -the grill area and the deck walk to the beach is right out the stair case as well which made it very easy for us. -room includes board games and blue ray player (you can rent movies in the main foyer which we didn’t even see until check out) -the provide carts for luggage and groceries which is very helpful The disadvantages I came across: -the main bed was very hard and our shoulders and back killed us when we got up. -they say they supply tp but make sure to bring your own along with ANY cleaning supplies. -when I was cleaning for check out I found a lot of trash in areas that hadn’t been cleaned before my stay so it made me question the truly cleanliness of the rest of the condo -we couldn’t get the wifi to work the whole time we were there - the dresser drawers will not stay closed if your life depended on it. It was very aggravating to us. -the door to the condo also needs to be physically pushed closed as it wouldn’t lock in without the extra pressure.

The condo itself is clean and equipped with everything you could need...kitchen appliances, pots/pans, dishes, vacuum, broom, plenty of towels, clean linens, towel hooks, and state of the art thermostat/Alexa system. All the furniture was nice and clean. The only issue we had with furniture is that the sleeper sofa bed was very uncomfortable, but luckily it wasn’t a necessity for us to use (kids slept in the bunks and parents in the bedroom). My kids loved the TVs in the bunk beds. We liked that the unit was very close to the stairs, so we could exit easily to the beach and parking lot. The balcony furniture was nice and we loved to sit out and have coffee each morning while listening to the waves. Brooks and Shorey was easy to work with and had streamlined procedures for arrival and departure. We were called with a room code as soon as the room was ready and then emailed with all instructions. Upon departure we could just check out through the hospitality app. My biggest issue during our stay, which is not related to the unit itself, is that for the second half of our stay we had a neighbor who sat on their balcony and was constantly smoking cigarettes. They clearly did not abide by the signs asking people to refrain from smoking on the balconies as a courtesy to neighbors. Several nights it was so bad that we had to cut our evening on the balcony short because we couldn’t breathe comfortably with all the cigarette smoke. Again, this is not related to the unit itself. Pelican Isle is located close to several restaurants. We enjoyed dining at AJ’s Oyster Shanty, Asiago’s Skillet, and Stewby’s. It’s also close to a Tom Thumb convenience store which was nice when we ran out of bottled water. It was just a short drive to Fort Walton and dining/stores on the bay side, and a short drive in the other direction to The Boardwalk (we ate at Floyd’

The view is phenomenal, and the condo is everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be coming back to this location each time we stay at Fort Walton! The place stayed perfectly cool the entire time we were there, and also had an adjustable thermostat that was easy to use. It takes maybe two minutes tops to walk down to the provided beach chairs and umbrella which was amazing. You are so close to the beach at this spot. We also called management at one point, and they were so friendly and helpful! If you are even in debate, book this condo! We had four adults and a child and had plenty of space, and cannot wait to go back!!!

Nice place, recently remodeled and painted. Perfect for what we were looking for. 2nd floor is actually 3rd since the parking is the bottom. Great to see over dunes and close to bridge over dunes. Great spot for small families. Also, was able to do take-out 3 times (young children + covid times) and never leave Santa Rosa Blvd. Will be back.

We absolutely loved this condo. The pictures did not do it justice. The place was Immaculate, the furniture was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the cooking utensils we needed, down to measuring cups and winks. It was beautifully beach themed decorated. Check in was so easy, as they called and gave us the code. The view was gorgeous, and the beach attendant that helped us with our beach chairs was outstanding. The close proximity to the beach is what puts this condo over the top. The pool area and rinse off area was nice and clean. We took advantage of some of the amenities provided by xplorie

The property description was accurate, cleaned and well-maintained.The owner/managers provided great customer service and I would recommend this property to a friends and relatives.2-min walk to the beach.Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The condo appears newly renovated and was fully furnished.Fridge was efficient and made plenty of ice - no ice machine in the building.The washer and dryer was a bit loud, so we started the machines while we were out.Air condition was efficient and had a clean air filter – great signs of good housekeeping.WIFI and Pool was great. I did not get a chance to use the Hot tub, it was always full and during my 5-day stay. I did notice the hot tube water was change during my stay – another great sign of good housekeeping.

The activity pass with beach chair service was a great bonus (we took advantage everyday). I would definitely recommend. Management was quick to answer any questions. COndo was stocked very well with towels, toilet paper, paper towels(I didnt have to use any that I took). Our unity was at the end of the hall near the stairs and we rarely heard any noise. We will visit again.

So close to fabulous restaurants right on the beach and pier. Highly recommend going out on the pier to watch the dolphins! Close enough to Destin to hop right over. Our family had a great time. We use to live in creative writing and we had an amazing experience here! The photos show exactly what the rental is like! The layout was perfect. Loved the TVs in every room. My boys loved the bunk beds and TV by them! Tpok a minute to figure out the cable, but got it. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils. blenders. cups. plates. Not missing anything! Very Clean and well maintained. Only issue was pull out bed was uncomfortable. Needs more cushion. My favorite part was the the stairs access was a few ft away from our door. Once down the stairs parking was a few feet away and the bridge to the beach as well The pool and hot tub were also super close. As a parent and with lots of beach toys and bags it was absolutely perfect! The view from the room was incredible and quite spacious. Two nice rocking chairs and a table. Watch Your step! We tripped many times going out on the deck because there was a divider along the door. Quite not extremely hot humid or busy for the time of year. We vacationed April 8th-13th. Tom Thumb convenient store right up the road. At main Intersection there's a Tom Thumb Gas station and Many shops. Not far from Boardwalk ($2 a piece I believe 5 and under free!) Crab Trap, Fudpuckers (see alligators, don't waste money eating there. over priced not very good.) Publix grocery was super close. Goofy Golf was fun maybe 3 miles away! $1.50 kids $3 adults I believe! Free Air Force Museum maybe 15 minutes away. Really neat to see. My son's dad was in the Air Force. Very special to us to see! It was an amazing time and I've been recommending it to everyone I know! We plan on coming back next year!!! So pleased!

Being on second floor near staircase allows for a quick trip to beach as well as great views from the balcony. One note, to make the property even more enjoyable, add two bar height chairs and maybe a table to the balcony. The chairs currently there do not allow you to see over the railings. Property management company was great. They actually called the day before to let us know the property would be ready early and we could check in before 4:00 PM. Very accommodating with our check in time and as we walked into the condo we felt like we were walking into our own vacation house. It was pristine! It had everything we needed plus more. We could prepare full meals, read a novel , watch anything on tv and use wifi then go swim in the pool or the hot tub. The view was the best! Thank you Brooks and Shorey. Will be staying with yall whenever we are in town!

Barbara Ochal, is the best property manager & staff, I have ever seen anywhere at anytime. We had a couple of maintenance issues, and we reported them before leaving to do some shopping. When we returned the maintenance was done. That says a lot about the property manager and the maintenance staff. We always look forward to staying at Pelican Isle. Reviewer Comments: Unit exceeded expectations. 2nd floor location provides a great view and stairs are nearby so you can avoid waiting for elevator and take a shortcut to/from beach. Inside was clean and well furnished with everything we needed including LOTS of towels, washcloths, etc. Loved having the free movie rentals and title selection was pretty good. Leather sofa, larger flat screen TV, king size bed and great weather were just what the doctor ordered for a relaxing vacation. Some friends rented another unit at the same time and ours was definitely better. Polite and helpful staff for check-in/out and questions. Pool seemed a little small but we didn't have kids with us so that wasn't a big deal. Plenty of great local places to eat or head east 5 minutes into Destin. Would definitely rent again.

View from condo outstanding. Pool and hot tub nice. Condo had all necessary to have a good time. Only thing I missed was a cover to the large fry pan. Otherwise plenty of everything. Tons of books and a few games, although the Yahtzee box was empty. Other than that just perfect. Also nice to be out of the Destin hustle and bustle, yet close enough to enjoy. I did read the previous reviews that said although chairs and umbrella included, folks grab them up quick. This was true. Get yours by 8 a.m., put a towel on it and then you can come back when you are ready. Otherwise you likely wont get one. Had an excellent time, relaxed and cooked and ate fresh gulf seafood, mmmm!

The condo was beautiful and clean. It came stocked and furnished with everything you need. The views were amazing (I thought only being on the second floor the view would not be very good, boy was I wrong, it's fabulous) The front desk was very helpful and friendly. We had a natural disaster with the horrible storms and flooding but it didn't ruin our stay. It was so cool watching the lightening storm over the gulf of Mexico. The condo was so cheery and colorful it made the rainy days go by fast. The king bed was sooooo comfy, I loved it! I just want to say thank you so much Brooks and Shorey, We will be back again! We had a wonderful stay and were very pleased.

Traveling with a 4 yr. old and 1 yr. old...the bunk beds with tvs were a hit with the 4 yr. old, and wonderful to be so close to the beach with a toddler. Easy walk to and from beach. Clean property, had everything we needed. Quiet location on the end of the hallway next to the stairs...made for easy access to parking lot/beach/office. Will certainly return. Loved that Pelican Isle was near the end of the strip, we felt that made for a not so crowded beach. Condo was a great size for a family of 4 and the washer and dryer were a BIG plus!!!

I am a pretty picky person and expect that when I party a lot for a room that it should be like my own home. This place exceeded my expectations. The cost was great and the amenities made it even better. I also liked that the location kept us away from the hustle of town but we were a short drive to great restaurants.
