The unit was as expected. The location near the beach was amazing and the condo community was pleasant. Having three bedrooms and 2.5 baths was great. The beds were comfortable enough. My one suggestion for improvement would be for an upgrade to the television in the main room. It was too small for the room size and lacked real streaming capabilities.- Posted: 3/21/2025

Would stay there again
Very Clean rental. Did have a few issues with a couple appliances, but was handled in a timely manner with management. Just a short walk to the beach, which was nice. Had a nice pool close by. The property was very well kept and had a nice area to walk my dog and they even supplied poop bags and garbage bins, which is very helpful. Thanksgiving in Florida!
Overall our stay in the condo was very satisfying. RealJoy called to ensure that we were happy with our stay, so I took the opportunity to ask for more dishwasher tablets, kitchen towels, and trash can liners. Our stay was scheduled for 6 days/5nights, with 2 dishwasher tablets, 3 trash bags and 1 kitchen towel provided. When I requested more, the RealJoy rep. reminded me that "starters" are provided with an expectation that we would purchase our own supplies. Despite this policy RealJoy promptly delivered enough tablets and liners to last through our stay. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and shopping. Great location in Destin to enjoy the beautiful beach. Walkable beach access w/ available beach chairs & umbrella’s, just have to cross the parking lot to access the beach. Also walkable access to the bridge and water w/ numerous turtles, birds, ducks, and fish. Even shorter walk to pool access. We have stayed in numerous units at this complex and have enjoyed it every year. Quick driving access to the Winn Dixie across the street. It was a real joy staying at this amazing Airbnb and I can't say enough good things about it! The place was immaculately clean, organized, and quiet which made for a very comfortable stay. The location was amazing which offered a quick walk to pool and sea, with then a short drive to great restaurants and shopping that we enjoyed each day. The customer service was top-notch in that our host was incredibly responsive and always quick to answer questions. Our Destin vacation
We definitely enjoyed our time at this location! Easy access to the Beach. The decor in this location was awesome. Very easy and responsive communications with the owner! The rooms were spacious enough for our family of four and then some! All the appliances worked great and were easy to use. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The only thing I would recommend changing is the mattress in the master bedroom. The mattress would slightly shrink towards the center. But this can be easily replaced. To Destin for the first time in 20 years
We hadn’t been here in a good while so thought we would check it out and Southbay was a great choice. It was gated so felt very safe and had all the conveniences you need. Very quiet and the private beach had none of the usual mayhem. Be able to bring my very loved dog Dude was a tremendous plus. We will be back.- Posted: 4/22/2024
