1. ArtsQuest Fine Arts Festival
The ArtsQuest Fine Arts Festival is returning in 2021 for its 33rd year in October! Come down to Grand Boulevard October 9-10 and check out art created by over 150 artists from around the world. Shop ceramics, jewelry, original digital art, sculptures and more! You’ll also find some delicious food vendors as you browse through all the amazing art. From local food trucks and booths to thirst quenching drinks and sweet treats, there will be something for every taste. Make sure you don’t miss this unique event and your chance to take home a gorgeous art piece!
2. Baytowne Wharf Beer Fest
Calling all beer enthusiasts! The Baytowne Wharf Beer Fest on October 8-9 is the perfect place to discover your new favorite suds and ales. If you’re interested in domestic and local beers, checkout the Beer From Around Here event on Friday night. On Saturday, snag tickets for either the General Admission or VIP package for the Grand Craft Beer Tasting. If you haven’t found your favorite from the other 200 domestic and craft options available for sampling, we know you’ll find something during Saturday’s events. You’ll also get to listen and enjoy the live music happening all weekend throughout The Village of Baytowne Wharf at this fun event on 30A.
3. Patriot’s Run & Paddle
If you want to get an amazing vacation workout while supporting a good cause, make sure you sign up for the Patriot’s Run and Paddle! Taking place on September 11, this challenge is dedicated to those who lost their lives in the tragic events of 9/11, while also celebrating our country’s resilience and strength. The challenge consists of a 5K trail run and a 2.5K SUP race, followed by an awards ceremony and fun post-race activities. 10% of the proceeds from the race go to the Fisher House of the Emerald Coast, which supports local military families in times of need.
4. Harvest Wine & Food Festival
Head to WaterColor on November 4-7 to be a part of the Harvest Wine and Food Festival! Here, you’ll have the opportunity to sip on world-renowned wines while sampling from 30A’s finest cuisine. There will also be a Grand Tasting and a few auctions throughout the weekend for you to enjoy. This amazing event on 30A features some of the top chefs and wineries in the area, as well as from around the country. Whether you prefer red or white, you will love sampling all your options.
5. Witches of South Walton’s Witch Ride
If you’re planning on being in South Walton during Halloween, you have to check out the Witch Ride! Hosted by the Witches of South Walton, this bike ride raises support for the Children’s Volunteer Health Network, Inc. and is a fun way to work off all the candy calories you’re sure to eat that night. Last year, they raised over $17,000 during this event. Make a difference and enjoy a fun bike ride throughout South Walton.
