From the inside, there are so many moving parts, details, departments, and people that make this happen. Seven days a week, RealJoy employees wake up and get ready to serve our guests and our community. This incredible group of individuals spans across the board: from Inspectors to Property Managers, Human Resources to Guest Services, and everywhere in between. Meet our Destin Maintenance Team
Say hello to our Destin Maintenance team. This hardworking team is a crucial part of our RealJoy community. The Maintenance team is talented in all things home repair and takes care of the technical items among our homes and condos. You can find them repairing appliances and furniture, painting, patching holes, fixing plumbing and air conditioning issues, and more. If something goes wrong in a rental, these are the go-to guys for RealJoy, owners, and our guests. Not to mention, they are top-notch!
Maintenance Manager Chris showed his appreciation to our Destin Maintenance team by taking them out on a fishing trip. This fishing trip was just one way to give back for all of their contributions and hard work. They took off out of Fort Walton, caught some bate just offshore, and sailed 15 miles out for a great day on the water. Chris believes there is something about being on the water that washes away any worries– and we couldn’t agree more. What a great way to kick back with the team and enjoy the waters of the “World’s Luckiest Fishing Village.”
Chris is our Maintenance Manager and has been with RealJoy for over a year. Although he has only been with RealJoy for over a year, he has been around the RealJoy community for about nine years with his wife Jody– who also works at RealJoy. He takes care of billing for the maintenance team, does odd jobs around the offices, and gets out to help where and when he can. Chris and his maintenance guys enjoy being a helping hand and making a difference in a guest’s stay. Chris believes one of the most rewarding pieces of being on the maintenance team is the ability to learn something new daily, apply it, and advance skillsets and abilities!
