Only 250 yards to the beach and under 1 mile from Seaside, you are right in the heart of all things 30A! Aweigh From Home features 8 bedrooms, 6.5 baths, and sleeps up to 20 guests comfortably. There are 3 king beds, 5 queen beds, and 2 sets of twin bunks. This incredible home has TWO large Living Rooms, TWO fully equipped kitchens, a huge wraparound porch w/ rocking chairs, a grilling deck, and a Top Floor Balcony facing the Gulf! In addition to the main house, the attached guest house has a private entrance and is also accessible from inside the main home.

Seaside is a fantastic destination, most widely known for being featured in the Truman Show with Jim Carrey. Its incredible architecture has helped to make it famous but also its faithful replication of the kind of seaside town that used to be common up and down the coast. Seaside has its own Farmer's Market, post office, Repertory Theater and neighborhood school. It boasts unique shopping, fantastic cuisine and the incredible architecture that makes Seaside famous. There are activities for everyone; kayak rentals, bike rentals, paragliding, fishing, golfing, hiking, swimming, tennis -- you'll find it all right here.

“The Big Chill” is the community center for Prominence and is only a few miles away. The Big Chill offers something for folks of all ages and tastes, from tacos and tequila, to wings, burgers and shakes, a stop here is quick, tasty and convenient, and comes with a side of entertainment at the outdoor amphitheater. It's a great place to catch a concert, sporting event, or a movie on the lawn.

The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Sea Turtle Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 783 feet out from the Grayton Beach State Park access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Sea Turtle Reef is at a depth of 12-19 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

"Family friendly - We had our 4 daughters and their families as well as my husband and I. We rented a 6 person golf cart as there were 19 of us and lots of stuff, which is what we used the cart for. It was an easy walk so you could come and go w/o needing to drive. We came back for naps, more food, etc. we rode the bikes provided to the town square in the evening. It’s a little over a mile. The house was clean. Kitchens had plenty of dishes,silverware and serving pieces for all of us. The pool was in use a lot, especially with the little ones and was shaded until 11 and then again around 4. We didn’t have any issues that needed to be addressed. We came Saturday and the pool could have used a cleaning by Thursday or Friday. I imagine it is done once/week but was very clean when we arrived. It was nice having a hose to wash off the sand and sunscreen before getting in. We loved it and would definitely stay here again."

"Spring Break 2023 - The house was perfect for adults and families. It is split level so the kids could have the bottom level and adults the top but still all be together. House does not have games, cards, kitchen dish towels....Make sure you bring these."

"Great week at the beach! - Great house to accomodate 15 people across 3 generations. So many spaces to be in the house it never felt cramped. Having two full kitchens was a nice plus! It's also walkable to the beach and a lot of shops, restaurants, etc. Close to Seaside/Watercolor and all they have to offer. Woud definitely recommend."

"Lovely house with easy walk to gorgeous Seagrove Beach - We had a wonderful stay at Aweigh from Home. It accommodated our large group well, with ample bedrooms and baths. Kind of a weird layout... two smallish kitchens (upstairs did have a large eating table) but not a great open gathering space for our crew. Decor was modest. Pool was great but nothing fancy. A few broken things but nothing crazy. It served us just fine as we are a low key group and spent most of our time at the beach anyway (sand like sugar and water like glass). Early October proved to be an absolutely gorgeous time to visit and we will be back!"

"Family Reunion Fun - This large house and on site swimming pool was perfect for our extended family of 16 souls from 3 states! The home was very clean and pleasantly decorated and well maintained. The pool was large enough to entertain the younger members while the adults were busy preparing for the next excursion. Nice that the pool was cleaned mid-week. A short walk to the beach. The daunting 2 1/2 story stairs leading down to the beach was overcome by the crystal blue water and white sand beach. Lots of eating places at about a mile to the Central Square, but bicycling or golf cart is the preferred transportation to the Square due to lots of car traffic on 30A. We all had a great time and recommend Aweigh from Home for a big family reunion!"

"Quiet and close to beach - Overall, great experience - the space was nice and upscale enough to warrant the price, but not so precious/overdone that you can’t relax. Separate living/kitchen areas were perfect for our large group where the older teens wanted some independence. The location is excellent as the dead-end street means way less 30A noise and no endless parade of side street cut-throughs. The walk to the beach was three minutes max. Pool heater a must, and Publix and bike rental deliveries were smooth. Highly recommend!"

"Beautiful place and great location - I loved the location it was perfect for beach access & walking distance to sea side. I would suggest the owner leaving a list of the things that are broken for the new renter. We had a element in one of the upstairs kitchen shattered & a huge dent in the wall on the stairwell. I would rather have that in writing for the new person coming in, so there is no questions of the damage. The place was amazing & comfortable. I didnt like that a few things were damaged when we arrived, It didnt affect our stay I would just like for it to be known that it was already there before we arrived."

"Old Boys Reunion - The property was fabulous, rooms for everyone. The 2 kitchens made mealtime easy and fun. Rooms were very comfortable and gave everyone privacy yet also the space to congregate all together. The decks are great get aways and the pool was clean and warm. The rental staff were very responsive--we had a problem with the grill and they were there immediately to fix it. Great location to the beach.....can't say enough."

"Beautiful Property - We booked this house for a 3-night stay. The booking process was seamless, we received several emails and texts to confirm, and our door unlock code was texted to us at 2 p.m. on the day of check-in, as promised. The house itself is beautiful and I was very impressed at how meticulously maintained it is, inside and out, with very comfortable beds, 3 zones of AC for different areas of the house, plenty of bath towels and starter shampoos and soaps, and a beautiful, sparkling clean pool with many chairs and tables on the pool deck. The house backs up to a wooded area and there are large hedges between this house and the one next door, so it's very peaceful. We were pleasantly surprised by the inclusion of beach chairs as well as floats and rafts for the pool and the ocean. The house is only 2 blocks from the beach, and this particular section of beach was never very crowded, especially early and late in the day. What really impressed me was how clean the house was when we arrived. It was clear to me that the house had been cleaned top to bottom with a lot of attention to detail. All the dishes and glasses were spotless, the coffeemakers were completely cleaned, and the linens and towels were fresh. The pool and surrounding deck were spotless, and everything worked perfectly, including the dishwasher and the clothes dryer, and the internet was faster than what I have at home! We would absolutely stay here again and hope to return next summer."

"Great Getaway to 30A - We had a wonderful week at the beach and at Aweigh From Home. The home provided a perfect, peaceful spot to spend a week of solitude with our family as the Coronavirus outbreak got underway. We felt safe and secure and enjoyed each day at our own pool and jacuzzi while still being just steps away from the quiet and expensive beach. We loved how quiet it was around the house - tucked back in the woods but literally 250 yards to the beach. The best of all worlds! We will definitely be returning."

"The Aweigh From Home property was perfect for our group of 4 families with children. It is quite spacious with 2 kitchen/dining/living room areas and plenty of nicely appointed bedrooms and bathrooms to suit everyone. The layout and ample outdoor spaces make it a very nice place to gather and relax - especially the roof deck and the pool area. And the proximity to the beach was wonderful.
Though we requested the pool be heated, the heat wasn't as strong the second day as when we arrived. RealJoy sent a repair man to take a look, though he didn't come until the next day. The heat did seem to improve after he was there.
Overall, we were very happy staying at this property."

"Very large house - The house was large and comfortable. The layout of the house was confusing at first but once we got settled in, it worked perfectly for our group of 9 ladies. Only 2 had to share a room and that room was big and had 2 queen beds. The bathrooms worked out nicely with all of us too. All bedrooms were nicely furnished and comfortable. The house is big enough that you do not feel right under each other and it has two living areas you can relax in. Location was great. The walk to the beach was not bad at all! Close to all the unique towns; we visited Seaside, Grayton, Watercolor, Alys, Inlet and Rosemary beaches. We were a group of photographers and got some great shots every where we went! Food was great near by! We ate out for lunch and at the house each night. Kitchens were well stocked and nice for all of us. Really a nice house for a large group needing lots of bedrooms and bathrooms!"

"This is a great house with an easy walk to the beach, Seaside and other retail establishments. It is far enough off of 30A to be very quiet. We loved the porch on the top floor. The kitchen was very well equipped—the best we’ve had through Airbnb.
The only downside was the number of interior steps. This can be a challenge if more than a couple of people have mobility issues.
Overall, a great beach/pool/outing choice!"
