We had easy access to a beautiful beach and multiple pools, the golf cart was so helpful getting us back and forth. The house had everything we needed for meals in and the back patio was a perfect location to end the evening."

"Convenience all the way around! - I have stay at this property twice now. What I love most is that all of the condominiums are ground level. This is such an added bonus with small children. You can’t beat having a 6 seater golf cart included with this price. Although it’s not beach front property, the view is still beautiful. The property is very quiet and the pool was never crowded. Great location and everything we could possibly need was accessible with the golf cart. Will definitely visit again next year!"

"Great stay! - We had a great stay. The house was nice and the perfect setup for our family. The golf cart worked great and was very nice to have to get around the resort and to get to the beach. We would definitely stay here again. We didn’t receive the code to the key box for the golf cart key upon arrival which was annoying to have to call the office and wait on hold for 30 minutes to get the code to be able to use the golf cart, but otherwise, everything else was great!"

"Overall good stay except for golf cart issues - Overall it was an excellent stay. The condo was very nicely decorated and the furniture in the living room was comfortable as were all the beds. Kitchen is well stocked. The location to the beach was good, however the unit is close to the highway so at night you can hear the highway noise and the traffic on Sandestin Blvd if you have the windows open. There are a few things noted that could be improved upon either by maintenance of the property manager or by the owner. All of these items I sent to the Management company prior to checkout. The Management Company was responsive.
1. The owner has added an additional comfy chair and ottoman to the living room; changed out the shower curtain in the bath/tub to a sliding glass door; and changed the patio table and chairs. None of these are noted in the pictures.
2. The key to the golf cart is kept in a lock box and the code was not sent to us with the code to the door. This required a phone call to the management company upon our arrival.
3. The Golf Cart has issues as mentioned in previous reviews. The prior renters had to have it towed because it ran out of battery (told to us by a representative of the management company). Thus it would not start for us because it was still in "tow" mode with the batteries switched off (located under the second row of seats). So we didn't have use of the cart until noon the day after we checked in. Also the batteries drain very quickly in this cart and when it gets down to 50% you don't have much pick up power. I could barely get up the tunnel hill under the highway. The driver's side mirror doesn't stay in place and the battery plug in box on the cart is loose and about to fall apart.
3. The drain in the tub/shower requires one to manually hold the lever down and the tub fills with water when showering. This is very inconvenient when you are done with your shower you have to stand there bent over holding the lever down. This too was mentioned by a previous guest.
4. The dryer makes a squeaking sound and takes FOREVER to dry even a small load. I broke our washer load into two separate dryer loads and it still took over an hour plus for each dryer load to finish.
5. The patio sliding glass door and screen need some work. They are difficult to slide.
Some of these are easy fixes and some probably require money (i.e. golf cart) so hopefully the owners are willing to make the necessary repairs."

"Wonderful Condo - We truly enjoyed our stay at this condo. Check in was easy and the condo was easy to find. The golf cart made it so easy to get to and from the beach. Soap, paper towels, and dish towels were provided, however, it is bar soap so if you prefer pump soap I would suggest bringing your own. I would as suggest bringing additional dishwasher pods as only one is provided. Would rent this condo again!"

"We had a perfect and relaxing stay at On the Rocks. It was plenty of space for our group and especially loved the large dining table for nightly card games. The 6 seater gold cart was so handy for beach, shopping and dinner trips to Baytowne Wharf. The pool area was relaxing and a quick walk or golf cart ride from the Condo."

"A Real Joy! - The accommodations were incredible, the pictures online really did the property justice, and the golf cart was the cherry on top! My only concern was knowing exactly where we could access the beach, please don't make the mistake of accessing the beach any where other than near the Beach House restaurant. The natives are not exactly the friendliest, instead of communicating clearly, the automatically assumed because of the color of our skin that we didn't belong. Do better "Sandestin" snowbirds...do better."

"Great Winter Get-Away! - Overall great experience! The unit looked exactly as advertised! Only issue was that we were a little confused about the check-in process on the resort but the resort staff clarified easily. "Off season getaway - We booked last minute and had great luck with this rental. The communication was prompt and clear, the home was spotless and very comfortable. We loved the location and proximity to the beach. Having a golf cart was a lot of fun. We didn’t use the shuttle but it would definitely be a perk if you didn’t have a vehicle or it was a more crowded time of year. Overall, would recommend this property to others!"

"Great Place - Great place! Loved being on the lake and such a quick easy golf cart trip to the beach(you can also walk). Real joy were easy to contact and quick to help; there wasn't a broom and they had one to us a few hours later. My only concern was the kitchen wasn't organized well, there weren't alot of pans, the chefs knives were in rough shape, and the kitchen trashcan was oddly small. I love to cook so this may not be an issue for most. Other than that, the beds were comfortable, the remodeling looks great, and we will return."

"Highly recommend this property - Very impressed with the clean smell as soon as we walked into the property. It has been recently remodeled with a very fresh feel. The king bed and bunk beds in same room was perfect for my preschool and elementary aged children who needed me to stay in the same room with them. Having a washer and dryer was a bonus. The property had a couple beach chairs and umbrellas as well as beach items like boogie boards which saved us time and money. The golf cart was repaired and worked perfect and the kids loved to ride in it to go to the playground at Baytown Village or to the beach. The property was quiet, perfect location and clean. We went grocery shopping and cooked nearly all meals on property using all the kitchen supplies provided. Our trip was cut short because our family fur baby unexpectedly passed away. I communicated with the management team that we checked out. They were so sweet, they sent a signed card by all the staff and a lovely picture frame. They went above and beyond. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend."
