Blue Heron Hideaway is a brand new, 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath home located in the Highland Parks community in laid-back Blue Mountain Beach. The spacious kitchen boasts all stainless steel appliances and is centered around a long island with chairs. You will love the open concept dining and living with large flat screen TV and plenty of seating for everyone. With two king master bedrooms on each floor, two guest bedrooms with twin over full bunks, and a pull out twin trundle, along with a sofa sleeper in the living room, this lovely home can sleep a total of 14 guests comfortably. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee on the large front balcony, then watch the sunset paint the sky in the evening on the private back balcony. Take one of the 4 provided bikes and explore all the trails down to Seaside, Watercolor, or Grayton Beach. The location is perfect, with delicious Blue Mountain Beach Creamery nearby offering homemade ice cream scoops and within walking distance to the amazing local shops at Redfish Village. Highland Parks is the newest neighborhood in Blue Mountain Beach featuring a fantastic neighborhood pool with a waterfall, hot tub, gazebo, fire pit, snack bar, and observation tower. The area is the highest point in South Walton County and surrounded by great eateries and local eclectic shops. Highland Parks is perfectly situated between Redfish Village and Gulf Place Town Center on Hwy 30A! Enjoy dining at local favorites The Perfect Pig, Red Door, Local Catch, or Basmati's. Seaside is a fantastic destination, most widely known for being featured in the Truman Show with Jim Carrey. Its incredible architecture has helped to make it famous but also its faithful replication of the kind of seaside town that used to be common up and down the coast. Seaside has its own Farmer's Market, post office, Repertory Theater and neighborhood school. It boasts unique shopping, fantastic cuisine and the incredible architecture that makes Seaside famous, There are activities for everyone; kayak rentals, bike rentals, paragliding, fishing, golfing, hiking, swimming, tennis -- you'll find it all right here.

The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Sea Turtle Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 783 feet out from the Grayton Beach State Park access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Sea Turtle Reef is at a depth of 12-19 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!
