"This was by far the best experience we have had while vacationing. Simple check in. They had a well-stocked kitchen with dishes, utensils, etc. The appliances worked wonderfully. Everything was very clean. We saved a lot of money by being able to cook meals. The AC was very cold and worked amazing. Great water pressure and hot water in the showers. The washer and dryer looked brand new and worked amazing. We were able to keep our clothes and linens clean as needed.
You could not ask for a better location. You can actually walk off the front porch and walk a very short distance right to several public beach access points. You can also walk right off the porch and hop on one of their provided bicycles. (It was so much fun) There are two very nice pools on site. We had a blast.
There are nice sit down restaurants nearby. All within walking distance. Plenty of other shops as well like ice cream, surf shops, coffee shops, etc. Highly recommended. Would stay here again."

"We loved our stay at Chihuahua Flats. It was the perfect location to be able to walk to the beach. Four bikes were provided and we made great use of those. One of them had a flat tire on the first day but as soon as I messaged them about it, they sent someone out who brought four new bikes to replace the old ones! We appreciated their quick response. We would definitely recommend staying here!"

"Great location - We absolutely loved this rental! The house was clean and the location is great!! They had all the kitchen ware you will need during your stay. My kids loved the bikes that were provided with the property. There were even beach chairs and beach cart. I would absolutely rent this property again. Santa Rosa beach is beautiful and relaxing!!"

"We had a wonderful time at Chihuahua Flats. The home was very clean, and the community it's in is darling. Extra linens were provided for the sofa bed. When we asked for extra blankets for the sofa bed, they were delivered within a couple hours of our request. We had two problems with the bikes while we were there. Once we called Real Joy, the Happy Pug (bike rental guys) came within a couple hours as well.
There were many kitchen extras for our party of 12 that made cooking and serving food easy (many pyrex, mixing bowls, serving bowls & platters, enough dishes, enough silverware, enough glasses, wonderful grilling tools, a beater). There were 4 beach chairs, 4 bikes, and a cart for schlepping our stuff to the beach (10 minute-ish walk). And outside hooks for our wet stuff. We also enjoyed the two pools in the cute community where the house is located.
We needed the items we brought with us - extra toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, DW detergent, laundry soap, and hand soap - but that's to be expected when 12 people come anywhere for a week.
There were dings in the paint on the walls in some spots, and in the paint on the kitchen cabinets, but we didn't mind that. We felt comfortable there and were not concerned that we'd mess up a pristine home.
We enjoyed walking to GoatFeathers for seafood, ice cream, and golf cart rental. We enjoyed taking the golf cart to Seaside. We enjoyed walking to Shunk Gully for lunch. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch under the shady trees, relaxing, and chatting. All in all, it was a perfect beach vacation."

"This is a relatively large place close enough to go back and forth from the beach and restaurants. I would recommend going to Spooky Lane beach access because there is no parking there and so fewer people."

"Memorable Spring Break 2022 - Perfect size house in perfect location. Short walk to the beach, restaurants and Gulf Place. The bike helped a lot getting around. We biked to Seaside which was great. Loved that it was not busy and trafficy around the area. Will definitely be back. We brought additional TP, paper towels, dishwasher pods. Grill could of been better. It took awhile to cook burgers and chicken due to the lack of flame the grill provided. A larger frying pan would of been great but we are do with what was available. Chihuahua Flats will forever hold great memories for our group. Would book again for sure!"

"Cute Home in awesome location - This is a very spacious home that is super close to everything. Our family really enjoyed riding the bicycles that were provided as well as the Yahtzee game. Weather was amazing so we walked to local brewery, restaurants and ice cream shops. The beds were very comfortable and overall our family had a nice relaxing weekend over the Christmas holidays. Only recommendation would be the overall supplies. Like noted in other reviews there is NOTHING provided. Just make sure that you are bringing coffee filters, extra toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags and beach towels. Although it didn't change my review because I knew this going in based off other reviews, as a VRBO host myself it is always nice to have the extra things provided."

"Everything at Chihuahua Flats was excellent. We had several great, walkable beach access points, the house was spacious, calm, cool, quiet, and well appointed. We cooked and grilled, swam in pools, rode bikes, and used some of the beach equipment provided. Everyone felt very refreshed and we all enjoyed a quintessential 30A experience."

Comfortable sofas and chairs in the living areas, a nicely equipped kitchen, two neighborhood pools and plenty of parking, televisions in every room, and good Wifi connectivity, plus it was close to Goat Feathers fresh seafood shop, numerous restaurants, and a convenient beach entrance."

Pros- Beach access is a quick walk, easy for young kids, also convenient if you have to drive (drop off though, not much parking)
-pools were never crowded
-house has basic things you need
-it was nice to have 2 bikes included
-Gulfplace stores and places .5 mile walk or bike ride
-plenty of soft fluffy towels and some basics to get you started

-code for door was not sent on time, but they were quick to answer and send it
-the beach wagon and supplies pictured is just a picture, its really filled with inflatables and noodles
-broken table sitting on porch and some leftover food in cabinets, cleaning was ok
-Remote for one fan/ light was missing

"Our stay at Chihuahua Flats was really great. The house was very clean and comfortable, with more than enough space for us all in a great subdivision, that was very close to everything. We did have a problem with the grill, and had to nessage the host but they replied very promptly and took care of it for us. I would be more than happy to stay in this house again onnour next vacation."

"The house was spotless when we walked in and the checkin/out process was clearly communicated and extremely easy to follow. The house is barely a half mile from the beach and there’s a rolling wagon to transport things, we spent nearly every day on the beach. The two bikes included were in great condition and easy to use. The beds were soft, space was clean and bright, and RealJoy made everything easy! The only surprises we didn’t expect (and they were so small) is that the house didn’t have any cooking spray or laundry detergent available. But those were easy to get at the nearby publix. Can’t wait to come back and stay again!"

"Perfect for a multi-family getaway! Bunk room is small, but perfectly adequate for a group of kids. Great porches for a relaxing place to enjoy a cocktail or good book.
Kitchen is well outfitted to stay in or order takeout. Short walk to the beach...might rent or bring a golf cart if your kids are really little."
