"Cozy and relaxing - This place was in a great location to where family was staying. We were right across from the beach with access at either side street by the building. The pool was warm and the hot tub was great in the evening after a fun packed day.
The unit was on the 3rd floor with a great view. The kitchen was very nice with all the appliances you could need. The living area was very comfortable and cozy. The bedroom and bathroom were nice also with a king size bed. Only complaint would be closet space as there was just a small cubbyhole to hang stuff up in, but all and all would chose this place again for next year."

"quick getaway - Property was even nicer than the pictures show. Fresh paint and updates. Extremely clean and comfortable. Only downside and issue we had was the wifi connection is HORRIBLE. We contacted mgmt and they were very responsive, but wifi just is really bad in this unit - there was not much they could do to resolve."

"Anniversary trip - My husband and I came for our anniversary and we enjoyed staying at the Grand Caribbean east. It was very clean! It was a short walk to the beach. All of the best restaurants, shopping, and boardwalk are just a couple miles away. You won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend."

"Beautiful condo - We spent the month of Feb in this condo & had a wonderful time. The condo was very clean & had everything that we needed! As mentioned in other reviews, the bed was king-sized & very comfy.
You can see a nice part of the Gulf from the balcony.
The only down-side (at least for us) is that the condo is located on the 3rd floor & there is no elevator…as seniors, it was a bit difficult carrying our stuff up the 3 flights.

"That mattress makes 3rd floor worth it! - So I had read that the mattress was amazing. I have a bad back, so I always wake up miserable and stiff when away from home, but this is the FIRST TIME EVER I woke up with no back pain! I honestly doubted it had a great mattress, But it does. It’s a Casper Wave btw…. I looked. Ha ha.
I’m an Interior Designer, so the unit caught my eye with its adorable wallpaper. It was a beautiful unit. I felt it was quite clean, although the wallpaper could use a wipe down.
Location is pretty great. 3rd floor is tough with two little ones. But like I said, for me, the look of the unit and that mattress made it worth it.
The kitchen was the only downfall for us. We cooked a lot and the kitchen was a hot mess. The skillets were Teflon and destroyed, which is dangerous….. so next time I will bring my own skillet.
And since they only leave you a whopping single roll of toilet paper, bring a couple with ya. But that is the Sun Joy Management and not the unit owners fault."

"Wonderful time in paradise - We were very much unsure whether or not to even take a vacation this year with all that is going on in the world. However we are certainly glad we did! This condo was very clean and beautiful. The complex is so quiet and laid back and close to everything. We enjoyed our coffee and the view on the balcony every morning. The beach was literally across the street and easy to access. The only downside to any of it is not being allowed our personal umbrellas on the beach and having to pay to rent them.
We will definitely recommend this unit and hope to stay there again in the future!"

"Great location and clean condo! - This condo was great for many reasons. The location is right across the street from the beach you can even see the water for the patio. Its about 6 miles from the boardwalk which seem to help with crowds on the beach. The place was clean and we had no issues during our stay. Highly recommend!"

"Loved this condo! - We had a wonderful stay! The place was beautifully decorated and super clean! It was perfect for my family of 4. The boys loved the bunk beds and my husband and I loved how close it was to the beach! All you have to do is walk across the street and there are 2 beach accesses. I loved having the full kitchen and washer/dryer. It is on the third floor with no elevator so I can see that being an issue if you have babies or elderly people with you. There was a tropical storm the first day we were there. By the next morning the groundskeeper had the pool spotless and ready to go! We were very impressed! We look forward to returning!"

"Unforgettable vacation! - Nice property. It was exactly as pictured. It was very well cleaned, and well organized, with all you may need during your stay. The beds were comfortable as well.
The only con for my family was that this property does not have access to an elevator. I had my senior mother with us...
I also have a recommendation; this property is at the perfect location, steps away to the beach...I think it would look much better if the complex gets painted. I noticed this area has many pastel colors... this would give a fresh new look to the complex.
Overall this turned to be a dream vacation.

"TN family of 5 - This was our first time to Destin. We normally go to PCB. We all seem to enjoy the atmosphere of Destin better! The sand is even better! The beach isn't crowded.
The condo was just like the pictures. So very beautiful! It fit our family of 5 just perfect. We had an issue with the dishwasher the first day and when I contacted Russell vacation rentals they wasted no time to have maintenance come fix the issue after we tried to trouble shoot over the phone. Issue immediately fixed and worked great the rest of the week.
We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub although they were cloudy the first few day. They were made aware. Once some vacationers left we noticed that it cleared up...??? But we also noticed many people not washing off the sand before entering the pool so that could've been the issue...? Idk. We did see the maintenance man out there testing the water and adding chemicals the last 2 days we were there.
We do hope to visit Destin again and would like to stay here again."

"Great condo with a great location. - This condo was recently remodeled ; no complains at all. It’s fully equipped which is great for any family. Our family used it for 5 days . The location is great . You have two beach access at the front of the condo. Close to great restaurants and shopping centers. The service provided was great as well. We san see our family renting this condo again."
