The Gulf Place community is located along a 26-mile stretch of sugar-white sand and turquoise waters of Northwest Florida’s celebrated Emerald Coast. As one of the 16 distinct beach neighborhoods in South Walton, it has its own distinct character and charm. This colorful community on 30A is comprised of 25 acres located in the heart of Santa Rosa Beach on the corner of 30A and 393. Gulf Place was specifically designed to slow visitors and locals down with palm tree-lined streets, wide sidewalks, colorful outdoor patios with large umbrellas, nature walking trails, green spaces and ample park benches to sit and enjoy the views. Gulf Place is unique from all the other South Walton neighborhoods. Residents and guests gather here to enjoy original art, boutique shopping, local cuisine, live music and a laid back atmosphere.
The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Seahorse Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 715 feet out from the Topsail Hill Preserve State Park access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Seahorse Reef is at a depth of 13-18 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

"Great Location and Convenience - We loved the property location and the size of the balcony and view were great. We were also glad its was on the top floor because we could hear some of the neighbors below us, we couldn’t imagine how bad the noise would be if we were not on the top floor. The furniture could be a little better quality and be refreshed, it was definitely low end “rental” furniture. Overall a great value to be on 30a."

"Can’t beat the location! Beach access is across the street, and the Gulf views and breeze on the balcony are amazing. Beach service is less expensive than other 30A beaches we have visited, which was a bonus. Lots of restaurants close by BUT no market or convenience store. Plan to bring provisions or order Instacart, which we ended up doing since we didn’t have a car. The accommodations were comfortable for my family of 4, but it would be a bit cozy with anymore. There is no laundry in unit, but the laundry room on the floor was great. Always available when we needed it and free! Don’t miss out on the larger pool around the corner. My kids loved that one, and I loved the shade. Overall, we had a great stay!"

"Perfect Location And View - This is our second time staying at this property. We love being in Gulf Place. Shopping, eating, and beach within a very short walk. The balcony has a great view of the water. It is so nice having 1.5 baths. The Management Company is great to work with. Love that you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach. "Two concerns - The management company was extremely responsive to any of my questions or needs! I absolutely loved the location and the apartment was overall clean. My two complaints are as follows:
The sliding glass door is dangerous! It is almost impossible to open the door to get out onto the beautiful balcony. We booked this condo because of the balcony. It has beautiful views but what’s the point if you can’t open the door. The handle is broken which makes it even dangerous.
My second complaint is the TV in the living room. I did everything as follows with the two different remote controls but I could not figure it out. Management company came up while I was not there and rebooted it but I still could not get it to work. There was lots of good football on which we were unable to watch because of this issue.
I would definitely return but I’d be extremely disappointed if these issues weren’t addressed."

"This 4th floor unit had an excellent view, convenient location and everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. The space, layout and furniture suited our group of 3 perfectly. We also loved the different pools and easy access to the beach across the street. Less than 5 minutes from door to sand. I was worried about parking but it was never an issue. Great restaurants near by too. We really appreciated the ice maker with fresh ice upon arrival as well"

"We rented a villa for three adults. If you're wanting to book, this place is perfect for two adults and four small children. We had minor issues and they took care of the next day. We were able to rent bikes just steps from the condo and walk to good restaurants. We cycled to both state parks and hiked each day. "Great for family vacation - This condo was very well furnished and everything was very comfortable. The king bed had a comfortable, expensive mattress and the linens and blankets were fine. The living room sofa was plush and comfy. Everything was clean and there were no unpleasant surprises. There IS an ocean view from this condo's balcony. Being on the top floor has its advantages. Beach chairs and beach toys were provided even though we did not need them. We ate out every meal, but there were plenty of dishes and other kitchen items to cook in. The condo is small, but not cramped for 2 or 4 adults or 2 adults and 2/4 children. I do think it would be too small for 6 adults. I highly recommend it for a family vacation. Short walk to the beach without a ton of steps on the beach boardwalk for children. Pools seemed very well taken care of. Several places to walk and eat and shops to check out. Get ready to spend some big bucks at the Pizza place, however, the staff there is very nice and the pizza was good. The Perfect Pig is a restaurant you do not want to miss! We had brunch and dinner there and could not have been more pleased with the food, atmosphere and staff. Plenty of green space at Gulf Place to allow children to run and play under parental supervision. Great place to ride bikes on property and also on the bike path on 30-A. Overall, a great experience (except for the weather in the 40's and 50's 🙂 I would definitely stay here again. The only negative was the $59 damage insurance I was forced to purchase in order not to have to put down a $1,500.00 damage deposit."

"Beautiful views and short walk to the beach - We stayed with our 3 girls (1, 7, and 9). The condo was just the right size for us. There is an elevator, laundry room, and garbage shoot on the 4th floor. This made traveling and housekeeping much easier than expected. The floors were easy to keep clean with a quick sweep. The balcony is a nice size with the ocean view over the pool. We spent every morning on the balcony with our coffee. There is a box of toys we borrowed from for the kids. We didn't even unpack the beach buckets we brought. We had chairs and umbrellas set up at the beach waiting. There was an outdoor concert which we were able to watch and listen to outside of our door from the Gulf Place's green. 💗� We ate ice cream at Pecan Jacks every evening after the beach. Their ice cream and pralines are amazing! The baby loved the banana pudding flavor. Pizza By The Sea, right across the road, was a perfect meal after a day of swimming. Boutiques are right next door as well, and we found everything we needed. We found two new children's books ("The Adventures of the Starfish Family") and had them signed by the author, John Hollan, at The Artists at Gulf Place. The beds were all very comfortable. We had a wonderful vacation here!"

"Can't Wait to Return! - After planning and successful moving our physical house from one address to another the prior week and my husband having to be out of town for work that week, he had planned a week of vacation for us. I personally, was in total disagreement with leaving unpacked boxes and going to the beach, but for his sake we went. Upon arriving at our rented condo at about 9:00 p.m., we opened the door to an uncleaned condo. We called Cathy, the owner, and she was as shocked as we were. We went across the street to dinner, while she called management to attempt to get the condo cleaned. Unsuccessfully, she booked us a hotel room for the night at an upscale hotel just a short distance from the condo. The next morning, the condo was clean and we had a very nice stay. After returning home, I checked our bank statement to find the hotel room had been charged to our checking account. Again, I called Cathy and she commented that should not have happened and called the hotel. She straightened out that issue immediately as well and like the first incident, both were totally out of her control. I say all of that to say, we did have a couple of issues beyond the owners control, but she was quick to resolve them for us. If we ever have another opportunity to go to Santa Rosa, I hope this condo owned by Cathy will be available! We'd stay in her condo again in a heartbeat!"

"Great location and beautiful gulf views - Gorgeous views of the Gulf, nice patio, quiet place, bed was comfortable and unit was clean. Walk to get coffee and lunch/dinner at four good places. You MUST go to Pecan Jacks (across the street) for liquor infused ice cream and other goodies. Convenient beach access and the sunsets are hard to beat. Kitchen was a little small (if there are 4 people) but it was perfect for 2. There was not a washer/dryer in unit but it was available on the floor by the elevators. I lived in Santa Rosa Beach for 10 years and that area of 30A is my favorite."

"Great Condo! - What a great little place! I've stayed around Santa Rosa beach before, and noticed the group of condos, but never stayed there. Check in was seamless. No problem at all with the lock - push in code and the door unlocks. The condo was cleaned well and the view.....let me say this, a nice breeze blowing while drinking morning coffee on the balcony was pretty close to perfect! The beach access is down the elevator and around the building, across the street and down the access path. 5 minutes tops, probably more like 3. Inside was nice. The bed was comfortable. It was just two of us, but the condo could easily do 2 adults and 2 kids in the bunks. I really don't even have any suggestions for improvement. Great job Cathy. Will book again if it's just the two of us."

"What a little gem! - Overall, our family of three adults and three kids ages 3,4 & 7 had a wonderful experience! I loved that the condo is a corner unit and nobody in my family complained about the 4th floor. In fact, my 3 year old looked forward to pushing the button on the elevator every time we left. The view is absolutely fantastic, and the convenience of having restaurants and shops so close made our life as parents with littles so much easier. If you come prepared with enough food and drinks there is no need in leaving a half mile radius 😊 We really look forward to staying at gulf place in the future!! My only complaint would be that the master bathroom toilet had a dirty bowl (no fault of the condo owners, I think it's a cleaning crew mishap). "Great condo near the beach - My husband and I stayed here with our 5 year old and found that it suited our needs very well. Our little one absolutely loved the built-in bunk beds in the hallway and we found the bed in the master bedroom to be very comfortable. There's a nice view of the ocean from the balcony and a deck box with TONS of beach supplies (we even left a few more boogie boards and sand toys behind). No need to bring chairs or boogie boards or sand toys, while we didn't use it there was a beach umbrella as well. There is a laundry facility on site (no coins required). Lots of great places are within walking distance (including the beach), so no need to get in the car if you don't want to. Very comfortable clean condo and would definitely recommend it. "

"In love with Santa Rosa Beach!!! - We vacationed with our two young boys and had a marvelous week! We rode our bikes to dinner, frolicked in the sun and sand, and relaxed by the pool. The next door neighbors were so kind and friendly. They recommended several dinner spots and fun activities for the kids. We will definitely be back next year! We are in love with Santa Rosa Beach!"

"Love at first sight - It would take a fine-tooth comb, an electron microscope and someone getting down on their hands and knees with a magnifying glass to find something wrong with this place. Not only was the top-floor condo quiet and comfortable, but it was stocked with plenty of bath towels and wash cloths, a full roll of paper towels in the kitchen, coffee filters and beach chairs.
The bed was one of the most comfortable we had ever slept on, and though we didn't sleep on the sofa, it was one of the most comfortable on which to take a nap that we had ever experienced.
We loved our stay and would love to own something just like this one day for ourselves and for an investment property (hint, hint).
In addition to our comfortable stay, we managed to use the stairs daily and got in some much-needed exercise; however, we didn't seem to lose any weight since we frequented so many of the restaurants located within walking distance.
The condo was easy to book online and the owner was pleasant and professional in all communications.
We are already looking at a return visit within a couple of months."

"You're going to love this place! - Three adult women and 2 children had the pleasure of staying 3 nights in this wonderful condo. We had soooo much fun. The condo was very clean, comfortable, pretty and so well appointed that we didn't need anything. Actually, the pictures cannot do this cute condo justice. We had never visited Santa Rosa Beach and were surprised at how beautiful the area is. The Gulf Place complex is so much fun and we were able to take advantage of some of the restaurants there. The beach is perfect and the heated pool just happened to be just below our balcony and we enjoyed it, as well. All in all, our "beach home" served us perfectly and we will definitely return and can only hope this condo will be available for us next time. We will, without a doubt, recommend this place to our friends and other family members."

"Great views of the gulf on 30A - Beautiful view from the big balcony, which has a table and chairs. Great location - away from the crowds but Destin and more activities are a close drive away. Can walk to a few restaurants, and more good restaurants are a short drive away on 30A . Condo is as stated and is clean and well stocked. Cathy was very easy to work with and quick to respond to any questions. Very good internet connection and variety of cable channels. We stayed for 2 months."

"One of my most favorite Florida stays EVER!! - We were absolutely thrilled with our stay at your condo. From the minute we arrived we loved it! I loved the small shops and artist galleries right in the villa. Your condo was clean, modern, and had all the amenities we could want, except for an ice cream scoop! ( We managed! No one let's ice cream go to waste! Lol!) The space was just the right size. The bed was sooo comfy! The view from your balcony was breathtaking as was the amazing hues of blues and greens of the water! I liked that your balcony overlooked one of the clean, relaxing pools. I could send my teens down and could see and hear them from the balcony. The beach access was easy to find. If I were to add one suggestion it would be to communicate that the beach access required stairs. If that was told, I missed it. It could be handy info for elderly or small children, folks with wagons, etc. We really appreciated the beach toys and chairs. We especially liked the activities offered there by the artists. We took part in a painting craft and it was so cool! We liked the easy access to Destin on the nights we wanted to putt putt and drive go carts. The grocery store was easy to find. The laundry facilities were clean, easy to access, and always available each time I used them. Overall, this has been one of my favorite Florida stay EVER, and I have been to many Florida beaches and I've stayed in many condos. Thanks so much for the opportunity to use your adorable unit! "Great stay in Santa Rosa Beach! - We really enjoyed our stay at this condo! The views are incredible and just as pictured. It is right across the beach with a view of the pool and the ocean - so close to all the gorgeous sand and water. And the location is perfect. Any further East or West on 30A and you're socked in by crazy touristy areas and too much traffic. This place was definitely a good value for a great little place near the beach!!! Easy to walk to restaurants - The Smiling Fish is delicious, Miss Lucille's is a great place for some ice cream treats, and Amore pizza was good. There's also a small pharmacy in the Gulf Place development which was a nice surprise to find.
The last reviewer stated that it was a little outdated and disappointing but I think it was completely charming and it worked well for us. The condo was clean and well stocked with dishes/cookware/towels/beach toys. Maybe the decor isn't as modern or full of all the upgrades everyone might like but we had everything we needed. And my daughter loved her bunk-bed area. She had a great time. We'll definitely be back to the Santa Rosa Beach area in the future. "

"fun in the sun! - We were very pleased with this unit as well as the property! The unit itself is very cute and cozy, clean, and well maintained. It's perfectly suitable for a small family. I liked that it had an extra powder room with toilet and sink. I was especially pleased with the view of the ocean. We normally stay right on the beach, so I was expecting to only see a sliver of the ocean. I was pleasantly surprised. The balcony is quite generous. I would suggest that you possibly keep some full size folding chairs or something to sit on while enjoying the great view. The bistro table and two chairs are cute, but not comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. The property is very nice, and we loved the amphitheater like greenspace in the center. We also loved the shops that were right there. Parking was so easy. We always had a space right in front. It was so super easy to get to the beach. Easier than most places I've stayed that was right on the beach. Owner was wonderful to work with. I would love to return to your condo very soon! Wouldn't change anything except seating on the balcony- but I could always bring my own next time:)"

"Loved it! - Our family of four loves this place and can't wait to return. The space is tight, but the views are amazing, and the beach is gorgeous. Next time, we'll know to bring salt, pepper, and scissors because they aren't stocked in the kitchen. Also, we'll know to ask for the access code to the larger pool so that we can use it too. "Atlanta couple - Santa Rosa Beach and the Gulf Place Cabanas provided my wife and I an outstanding Thanksgiving get-away. Great golfing and great food were close by, but we were removed from any hectic crowds. The condo unit was accurately depicted online and the booking was straight forward. Cathy responded promptly to my questions. We will definitely return and recommend it to our friends."

"Condo at Gulf PLace #209447 - My daughter and I really enjoyed staying at this condo. It was nicely decorated, had all you need in the kitchen and had a wonderful view of the pool,the Gulf and two beautiful homes on the beach.
It was an easy,short walk to the beach and there were bathrooms and showers close buy, if you needed them.
There were lots of restaurants and shops on the property to walk to.
We would highly recommend this condo and its location away from the crowds, of course there is nowhere else in the US that has the white sandy beaches and crystal clear water like the panhandle of Florida."

"We had such a great time - I am so glad we found your condo to stay in. It was extremely comfortable and much larger than I expected. Santa Rosa Beach was incredible! It was our first time to the area but we will definitely be back. We expected it to be crowded the week before July 4th but it never was. We went to Destin for some parasailing and the traffic there made us hurry back to the condo. LOVED LOVED LOVED the walking path,it was great to get up before the day got hot and walk up the path and get in some exercise to make up for all the eating we did. Had never stayed across the street from the beach but that turned out to be a plus. It was a very short walk and we never tracked all that sand back in with us. "GORGEOUS VIEW - Hi Cathy! At the last minute our family decided to drive down to Florida to get away from the winter of Wisconsin! Your condo is so cozy and the view from the balcony is beautiful. The listing description and photos accurately reflect the property. It was so nice to have a very, very short walk to the beach. The area is a great location to have a relaxing vacation. Santa Rosa Beach is very quiet compared to Destin. We highly recommend para sailing in the area and to try all of the various restaurants. You will not be disappointed. The condo itself is very cozy and well appointed but our favorite feature was the balcony and the view it afforded of the Gulf. What a great place to relax out of the sun for a bit! Santa Rosa is certainly my favorite community on the panhandle and we will definitely be back to the Eads' condo at Gulf Place.
