"Hidden Gem! - Having booked this condo very last minute for our first trip to Destin, I was a little concerned it might not be that great. But I would stay here a 1000 times over given the opportunity. You cannot beat the location of this condo. The entire area is beautiful, safe, quiet, and the staff were all so friendly. The pool area is the best well-kept pool I’ve seen. The condo itself was immaculate and plenty of space for the 5 of us. The view from the balcony is amazing. We saw several fireworks displays and beautiful sunsets! We enjoyed the enclosed patio as well, and it’s a great place to store your stuff for the beach. We enjoyed both beach areas and the included chair/umbrella set up was nice too! Definitely recommend this condo!"

"Little piece of paradise! - A private community that lets you feel safe letting your kids explore. Wonderful condo with a gorgeous view! I would post pictures if I could. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking again next year!"

"2023 trip to Panhandle - property was well taken care of and we throughly enjoyed watching the sunsets over the Gulf. Taking many walks was easy and safe. The only negative thing I have is I would have liked a better mattress on the king bed."

"Great location - Nice location. Good view of the bay and boat traffic. It was fun to watch the boats going in and out of the pass everyday. The view of the sand dunes was nice too. You can access two beach areas from the condo. Bay side or gulf side beach are both are about a 5 min walk or a shuttle picks up near elevator and drives you to the gulf beach access where the free beach service is located. The condo was plenty spacious for our family of 4. The location is nicely situated near many of the best restaurants. Condo was clean. Beds comfortable. Hopefully we will be back soon"

"Great location/Nice condo - We were very pleased with the condo, the little neighborhood it was located in as well as the location within Destin. You can’t quite tell from the pictures posted but the balcony overlooks the pool, beyond that are the Sand dunes and then the ocean and it is a very beautiful view. There’s actually two parts of the beach that you can go to from the condo: there is the closest one which is more of like an inlet which has a Beach area and is actually the place a lot of the tours bring people to snorkel look, it’s right there in your backyard with this condo. There is also another beach area right on gulf with a five minute walk or they have a shuttle that can take you down to that beach area. This area has the beach service with an umbrella and two chairs. It’s a very good location if you want to get down to the harbor for renting a boat or JetSki‘s. I’d highly recommend renting a boat and going to crab Island, Be sure to plan ahead or you might miss out. You have grocery store, ice cream, restaurants, gym very close by."

"Beach Vacation - Magnolia House was a great condo that met all of our needs. Pool was great and heated. Short and beautiful walk to the beach. Loved that the chairs and umbrella were included. Beautiful community around the condo. Great for morning walks/runs."

"Lovely property with views - Very comfortable stay with great views. The weather turned cold and very windy but we still enjoyed the large heated pool and hot tub. Easy walk to the beach and short drive to restaurants and activities."

"Could have been a disaster - This was our first VRBO stay and we had a bunch of interactions with RealJoy since we weren't exactly sure how everything would work out. We asked about how we get access to the site, and how do we get the "key" (and we asked if we could check in early if possible). The only response they gave us was that we would not be able to check in early and they would send us the access instructions an hour before we could check in. Well, the time for them to send us the access information came and went. Of course the VRBO app and website were dragging at this point. My "inbox"(where I had already communicated with Real Joy 5 times) would not load. After attempting to contact them through VRBO, called them directly and sat on hold for approximately 30 minutes. This was after I entered my number to receive a call back. I did receive the call back before my call was answered. They told me that I should have received an email with instructions and did I sign the rental agreement? I did not have any emails from them, and nothing that explained that I should have signed a rental agreement. With all the communication that I did have with them, I would have expected that they would have mentioned that before we were standing at the door trying to get in. They then sent an email to me with login instructions to their website, and my "portal". This gave me a code. Of course the code did not work. After a few more calls on hold, and waiting for them to call back, they were able to find an "old" code that worked to get us in. Finally, we are in, an hour and 45 minutes after we arrived at the door. Great, right? we get to relax and enjoy our vacation now!?! Not quite. The temperature in the room was very stuffy, while it was only 62 outside. OK, so we turn the A/C on and wait for it to cool...almost an hour later, and it is still almost unbearable. On the phone with RealJoy again, and they send someone out. Ok, problem fixed, on to the vacation...We relax on the porch overlooking the pool and enjoy the sunset. It really was a great location and nice condo. Bedtime, we get to sleep in on our first morning there!!! Not so fast. 5 AM water is pouring from the ceiling in the master bathroom. Phone again. They sent someone and left the bathroom a mess for us to clean. After the week they did give us a 10% discount, but kinda left a sour taste for the entire vacation. Hopefully they learn and the next person isn't stuck standing at the door."

"Great stay - The stay was great. We really enjoyed the location. We did not realize it was a secured neighborhood that required a tag for access but that made it much nicer. The pools were amazing and the beach was a short walk away. We would definitely stay again."

"First Time and Happy - This was my first time getting a VRBO, and I am happy. The place looked just like the picture. The issues I had was that I did not know about the entrance to the condo is closed off. It is like a patio but it has shutters that you can't see in and the door is unlocked. But once you go through there you have the door to the condo which is of course locked. But it was kind of scary entering the front when going in at night and there was no male with me. But the area is safe and there a secured gate that you have to enter to get into the community. The parking spaces in the parking garage are tight because everyone drives SUVs. My daughter said she could hear people opening and closing their sliding doors at night. I could not though. And the ceiling fan in the master should be replaced because it was very loud. But everything else was good. The pool is GREAT there. My son enjoyed every minute there, and my daughter loved the private beach. I love the fact that they have carts for you to use to take your luggage up. And the tram to take you to and from the beach is great."

"Our Destin experience with real joy was awesome. Checking in and out was a smooth process. Beach was maybe a 5 min walk and the pool was huge! We loved it! I’d say they could up their game in the cleaning area but other than that our condo was nice and the view was beautiful!"
