"We stayed at Mainsail 142. We were very pleased with our stay. The view is awesome! We were pleased with condition of the condo. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a pleasant, comfortable stay. Just take a few steps from the ground floor elevator or stairs and you are on the beach. We would definitely love to stay there again. "

"Perfect View conveniently located - This was a great place to stay for our family vacation. The view was amazing. Quick 2 minute walk from room till your toes are in the sand. Had all the amenities that we needed for our stay. My only concern that I had was that they had just sprayed for pest control and there were a few dead small roaches when we arrived but never saw any more after first day and they even came back to re-spray for extra measure. Very glad we stayed here and will definitely consider using this location again when we come back."

"Short visit for a wedding - The location was perfect. The views from the balcony were beautiful. There was shopping within walking distance of the condo.
The only improvement would be the WiFi. It was not secure and the signal was really weak."

"Great location & clean - The condo was very nice & clean. You are just a few steps from the beach with a great view of the ocean. We had a wonderful time there. The only drawback was the king bed in the master bedroom was not that comfortable. It felt like you sunk in a hole."

"Big and clean unit. Beach perfect view from the 4th floor (you can literally hear the waves when you open the balcony) and this is nicely decorated. If you decide to cook, it has all your kitchen needs, plus it is a drive away to Walmart (about 10 min) if you want to buy grocery. The private beach in this area is clean and nice which is perfect if you don't like a crowded beach but can be wavy for small kids. Definitely will come back again.

"Awesome! Loved the property and will come back. - Access to beach was awesome and was not to crowded despite being an 8 floor condo. Was the reason we chose the property. Condo was comfortable and had everything we needed and expected. View was awesome. Would highly recommend to a friend.
The chair and umbrella rental/usage was confusing and there was no clear information in regards to chairs/umbrellas in the booking or in the information in the room. For $3000 it seems we would get the Chairs included and not have to pay another $43 per day for two chairs and an umbrella. We have stayed at other properties in Florida and this was the most jacked up chair arrangement I have seen. Especially when the chair boy comes stolling buy and demands his money while he stands there and looks at you. Kinda felt like I was being robbed at the beach. Additionally the parking was jacked. The booking says we got two parking spots. Luckily we just had one car, but we still had to park in the grass each night. Lastly the traffic in and around Destin is awful. Might have been the time of year we went, but 30 minutes to go 3 miles is harsh."

"Mainsail 142 was a perfect beach experiece for our family of 4 - the unit was quiet and comfortable. - 142 was a beautiful unit, close and convenient to the beach, well furnished and equiped. Comfortable, safe, and easy with the electronic door lock.
Getting on and off the property was hindered quite a bit by the highway construction going on throughout Destin at the time of our stay."

"My stay at Mainsail142 - AI was not sure where to place a review of our recent stay in Mainsail 142 .The condominium was very nice in many ways and we enjoyed our visit. However the television remotes did not work well even when we changed the batteries. However, we found that we could control the TVs by carrying the one good set of remotes in and out of the living room. The overhead light in the master bedroom needs a new bulb of a special kind as does the light over the stove on the bottom of the microwave. One of the living Room lamps needs a bulb. It would be nice to have a list of channels or some instructions about set up the TV video equipment.Otherwise everything worked well and our stay was wonderful."

"We had the best stay here! The whole condo was great! The beds, the showers, the kitchen, the balcony, and the view were wonderful! From looking at the pictures, we wondered how far the walk was actually from the beach. We had the elevator right outside our door, where u just jump on it and takes u directly to the beach. Short walk! The beach was one of the best beaches I’ve ever been on in Florida! The water was amazing and clear. The beach was clean! On and off throughout the days we would see dolphins. We went crab hunting one night. Ton of crabs at night. They also had paddle boarding rentals for $30 an hour. We took that out and saw some jelly fish and a sea turtle. We also went right across the street to the outlet malls on a rainy day. A ton of shops there! The ate a 2 amazing restaurants as well, surf hut and pompanoe Joes in which we highly recommend both. They were awesome!!"

"Beautiful, perfect location for our get away! - Mainsail 142.
We hope to return to this excellent condo! We found it cozy, spacious, safe and felt secure on the premises as well inside. Bring your own coffee and filters, load up the refrigerator and love life as most everything else is there.
Great condo and location. Patrolled beach, outlet store shopping across the main street. A short drive to either well know shopping locations within Destin and Panama City. I agree with other reviewers, and add this: take your trash out daily as the trash shoot is right outside your door, albeit small. There are carts under the stairs right beside the elevator. Unload your belongings, then move vehicle to parking (short walk).
Seriously, there is little more I’d ever ask for but for the sake of those on the fence towards a 'home away’ within Mainsail 142; I offer a brief list, and I’m being very picky.
a. Add baking soda to refrigerator - someone before us left a slight fishy smell within.
b. Light above master bed didn’t work, but theres plenty of lighting from three other lights.
c. Nothing else, absolutely stunning."

"A Great Place and Location for Families - Our stay was, for only 4 days, and we were very happy with our condo. It was very comfortable , clean and quiet. Everything is there for your convenience. ( Washer, dryer, dishwasher, iron and ironing board, microwave) . All appliances were new. The location was great for shopping and dining . The beaches were great and kept very clean. Patrolled on a regular bases. I felt safe, the whole time we were there. Since it is a short walk to the beach, ( maybe a block) it is a great location for families, with small children. Just remember to take your own sand chairs and umbrella, ice chest, beach towels and snorkling equipment."

"Best unit I've stayed in! - Have stayed in several different units in Mainsail and this one is my favorite! You cannot beat the view! Unit is very clean and has been updated with quality materials. The beds are very comfortable which is so important. The door is directly across from the elevator for ease of unloading. And the boardwalk to the beach is right near the elevator. Will definitely be coming back to this unit."

"Mainsail Property - Mainsail is a beautiful, well kept property. Unit 142 is in a great location. It exceeded my expectations. It is a well decorated unit with a great view of the ocean. It is located at the end with the elevator right outside the front door. Realjoy is a great company to work with. For a short weekend stay they provide enough starter paper products to last for the entire weekend."

"A+! - My husband and I have stayed at Mainsail every year since 1988. We have tried many condo....so good, some, not so good. This one (142) is absolutely at the top of our list! It is beautiful, comfortable, clean and has a fantastic view. I am hoping to stay in it every time we vacation in Destin from now on.
There needs to be more dishes, (cereal bowls) and maybe flatware. And the lighting in the bathroom is a little dim, but those are very minor details.
I really love this condo, and would live there if I could!
