The house was very clean and comfortable. It was nicely decorated and in a well kept neighborhood with great amenities! It even had a heated lap pool! The house was in new condition and the beds were also very comfortable. The public beach is close by and has ample parking and clean bathrooms... gorgeous beach! This place was fantastic! All the decorations go with the theme of Octopus' Garden! Home is beautifully furnished and maintained. Labels help make finding things very easy. Binder with restaurant menus, etc. was overflowing with information. Beds were super comfortable. Golf cart is top of the line, bicycles available as well. Kitchen has all you need to cook and have meals at home. Love the pay it forward area of snacks where you help yourself, but add to it for the next people who stay! What a great spot to relax and enjoy our vacation!
Rental was clean and well kept, nestled in a great neighborhood with walking trails and a direct path to the beach through the state forest that you can ride your bike down.
This rental is a couple minutes walk away from two Pickleball courts!
The neighborhood pool was very nice and relaxing with a covered area to eat lunch or hang out while your kids swim .
As others mentioned, very little is provided in the way of household essentials, like laundry soap, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, and toilet paper. This was disappointing as most rentals that we have stayed at in the past have provided ample supplies.
The golf cart is great, but does cost extra which isn’t made clear in the description or the photos.
RealJoy is a rental management company, and they were very responsive and worked with us on a few items that came up during our stay. They were very pleasant to work with.- Posted: 8/10/2024

We throughly enjoyed our stay . The house is got a great layout for families with kids of varying ages and the kitchen is wonderfully equipped with everything you could need for cooking . We usually bring our own linens since microfiber sheets ( yuck) have taken over Airbnb , I was so grateful that this home had wonderfully soft linens since we forgot ours , and SO many wonderful pillows ! One more thing - the extra fans - genius and thoughtful ! We had several fan sleepers and to have them readily available provided routine in sleep habits. :) Clearly we will be back - thanks again !- Posted: 6/29/2024

We absolutely loved our stay at the Octopus’s Garden!! The house was immaculate and had a great starter set of items along with all the other essentials. This house was perfect for our group of 6 with extra space for more people. The Naturewalk neighborhood is beautiful with lots of amenities. We added on the Golf cart to our rental and used it every day to transport our group of 6 along with all our beach items to the beach. We also used it to drive into Seaside and other surrounding areas for shopping and dinner! Would absolutely stay at the Octopus’s Garden again. We also loved getting a visit from Ruthie when we checked in! She gave us lots of tips and even texted us recommendations for everything! We will be back!- Posted: 6/22/2024

Octopus' Garden was amazing. Extremely clean throughout the house. The kitchen was stocked with all the amenities we needed for a week's stay. We used the grill, rode the bikes, and puttered around in the golf cart (which I thought made it easier to get around down on 30A). It was a bit cool at night to sit out on the porches but we loved sitting on the swings during the day.- Posted: 3/30/2024

Great Thanksgiving Visit!
We had a wonderful stay, and we were so impressed by the level of attention from the management company. The year round neighbors were so friendly and welcoming, and we had a blast playing pickle and relaxing at the hot tub and heated pool. The best part: I was horrified when we pulled up - I realized that I’d accidentally booked our arrival for the next day! My family was tired from the drive and not happy with me- but the management company pulled a miracle and let us check in seamlessly and early! The house was great. My only suggestion to anyone staying is bring or purchase there toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and dishwasher soap. We had 10 people and we went through a lot of these supplies I did read previous reviews so we were prepared. It was a great family trip and we will defiantly go back.- Posted: 7/22/2023

It was a large, immaculately clean, comfortable home with two nice outdoor seating areas. The community and home were well taken care of. We enjoyed the pickleball courts right around the corner (bring your own paddles and balls). The community pool was shallow and had limited hours. The golf cart was nice for going to Seaside. The bikes were in excellent condition and fun to explore on. The area is gorgeous. The beaches are clear with the perfect white sand. Plan to buy basics for the house that are not provided (beyond an initial startup) such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry & dishwasher soap, coffee filters, salt/pepper, etc. On the positive side of this, the house was well organized and clean. Also note there are no beach towels and the house towels cannot be taken to the beach. The beach chairs provided were great! All in all, a great value for the size and location.- Posted: 5/26/2023

Let's start with the wonderful things! The house was pristine when we arrived - very clean and made up beautifully. The house is spacious and beautiful. We loved having coffee on the front porch. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked, and overall we really did love the house. We used the golf-cart to get around to the grocery store and beach, which was super fun, and even took the bikes out a couple of times. Overall, would recommend a stay in this home!
There are a couple of areas for improvement that I want to share as well. First, I was pretty annoyed that we had to check bags just to take beach towels with us for the whole family. They really should provide beach towels given that the beach is the main attraction of the area. Secondly, we were there during the NHL and NBA playoffs and were sad to see that they didn't have live TV channels on the TV in the living room. We couldn't watch games airing on even basic cable TNT - so beware sports fans!- Posted: 5/20/2023

We enjoyed our stay. Very convenient having the golf cart already there. The bikes were in good working order. Very clean and comfortable beds. Really nothing negative to say. Maybe the the only thing to note is you will need to bring or buy extra trash bags and toilet paper etc. All the restaurants in Seaside are a bike ride away. Octopus Garden is an amazing home! Not only is it modern, well apportioned with comfy beds and convenient to the beach, but being able to rent their golf cart was a bonus. I highly recommend this property as I know you will enjoy as much as we did!- Posted: 1/1/2023

Beautiful Octopus' Garden
We had a wonderful time at the Octopus' Garden house. What a beautiful home it is. Everything was lovely and comfortable. It was a beautifully decorated beach house and made us feel spoiled the whole time. We loved swinging on the front porch, having dinners out there too, riding bikes to the pool and beach, loading up the golf cart and going to the beach, playing basketball, walking on the nature trail and enjoying the whole neighborhood. When we left a sketchbook of my daughter's at the house, they kindly found it and mailed it to us. We would definitely come back!- Posted: 6/19/2021
