The 11,000 square foot, 259,000 gallon zero entry pool is Destin’s largest lagoon pool! You'll be blown away by the 5 dancing waterfalls, walking bridges, and spacious lounging area. There's a 21,000 gallon heated pool, children's splash area, and whirlpool spa.
The Palms of Destin Resort features a 2,265 square foot state-of-the-art fitness center including elliptical cardio treadmills, cross trainers, bikes and summit trainers each having a personal entertainment system.
The Palms of Destin offers full size basketball courts and two lighted tennis courts, with complimentary equipment available from guest services in the resort lobby. The Palms of Destin also offers lessons and clinics taught by USPTA and USPTR tennis professionals.
Seasonally, the resort offers a complimentary three-minute air-conditioned beach shuttle to the beach access beside the Back Porch restaurant. Additional shuttles run to Destin Commons and Harborwalk Village along with Henderson State Park for a small fee. Please inquire with the front desk for information on shuttle times. The Palms is a smoke free complex with an array of amenities. Some amenities are occasionally closed due to unforeseen circumstances.

"Great price - Everything was true to description. Beds were surprisingly comfortable, even the 2 pullout couch beds.
*Only thing I would suggest, is to update the toaster. Was very old and only toasted one side of bread at a time, also maybe add a few more pans or flat griddle, and a few more big trash bags would have been helpful. There was only one pan, so made cooking take a lot longer when trying to make multiple things. The last thing I’d suggest is adding at least one more set of sheets and blanket/pillows so there is enough for both couch beds. There was only one set. We had 2 teenage boys, (of the 5 of us) so didn’t want to share one couch bed. Luckily they had brought their own pillow and small blanket for cart trip, but if we had flown would have been a problem.
Other than that everything was great. Loved that every room had a tv, the extra fans were a big help, and it was so convenient to have the beach umbrella and chair to use."

"Great family vacation - We were originally suppose to stay in a local hotel and cancelled to book this property as the separate rooms worked better for having a 1 year old with us. "absolutely a great time will definitely be back but we’ll do Starbucks next time… - everything was very nice with great views
the palms coffee house was VERY displeasing….. staff was to busy chitchatting to help customers. i ordered two iced coffees,two frozen drinks for the kids, and a cinnamon roll. Took 35 mins and the cinnamon roll was horrible. When I complained I was told “sorry we forgot your order” what a shame it’s a nice place it needs employees that can do a job without all the talking"

"Check in process was a bit off, we could access our room but the front desk staff had not received any of our information despite booking in advance. This was quickly sorted out with a phone call but it was a bit of a pain to wait 20-30 minutes in a line with kids, to only have to step aside and wait another 20 minutes calling an automated phone service before reaching a person and getting it resolved. Outside of that, our stay was great. The restaurant was fantastic food wise and had great drinks at a relatively inexpensive price. Our room was great and really stocked well with amenities. Overall, we would definitely come back!"
