"Enjoyable stay - The property was clean, safe and enjoyable. The pool area was relaxing and fun for all of us. We loved the tropical atmosphere. The location allowed us easy access to the Gulfarium, the Habor broadwalk, Buccaneers Pirate Ship Cruise, Dolphin Watch Boats, restaurants, shopping and Walmart. It was a great stay. The only thing we didn't like was having to haul luggage, grocery and supplies across the front of the building and so far. There really should be parking on both side of the building."

"Wonderful for Families - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unit at the Palms of Destin. The property managers have thought of everything a family may need. My only recommendations would be to add one or two Tupperware containers so any cooked food can be saved and to possibly add a lamp or some sort of device that allows for USB connections to be plugged in. Some of the light switches are connected to plugs, meaning if you switch them off, you could essentially be cutting power to where a charger may be plugged in. A bit frustrating when you aren’t aware of that. We loved the pools and the access to the beach, the shuttle was very accommodating. I would not recommend this unit if you’re wanting to walk to the beach. We have four children ages 7-15 and we would not want to walk the distance required with all in tow. If you’re looking for something ON the beach and within reasonable walking distance, this is not the condo for you. We would stay here again without hesitation."

"The Perfect Spring Break getaway - I would highly recommend this unit. It did not disappoint, and was exactly as advertised. My 9 y/o daughter loved the bunk room! The view of the pool and beach from the balcony was spectacular. The beach was only 1/2 mile from the resort, so it was easy to get to. The pool was amazing, although it was a little chilly. We felt very comfortable and relaxed while we stayed there.
The only disappointing part of the resort was the restaurant. The service was horrible. The food was okay, and did in a pinch, but I wouldn't recommend eating there. Fortunately we were very close to The Back Porch and other delicious dining options."

"Labor Day - We had a wonderful stay at this property with our toddler. It was an excellent location to the beach for us as well as amenities (pools, tennis courts). The property has a great view and was clean. The bedding could use an update but definitely did not interfere with our stay!"

The food and drinks were sort of expensive at the palms bistro/good vibes bar and it wasn't that good. Throughout our stay, we tried a variety of different foods and most were over seasoned/salty and didn't have that exceptional restaurant taste. The best thing on the menu were the wings but they are very overpriced!! Maybe they should consider updating menu to match the expensive prices. Also, there was no DJ at the good vibes bar at night this year which was a big hit last summer and was one of the reasons my husband look forward to returning this year. Also, the kids playground was very dirty and equipment needs updating and replacing. Thanks!"

"Great stay at a great resort and condo - We loved the stay at the condo. It is nicely decorated, clean, and the complex has great amenities. The heated and pool and hot tub were perfect and we even spent time in the massive unheated lagoon pool even though it was chilly.

"Great property! - The check in process was extremely easily and the front office staff was amazing, very courteous and helpful! The property was extremely clean and stocked with enough supplies to last us the entire trip...my one improvement/ suggestion would be to upgrade the master tub. The tub clogged when the shower was in use. The kids bathroom was upgraded and they absolutely loved the room. The kids room was a little smaller than expected as the washer and dryer was tucked away in a closet, however, it worked for this trip. We would definitely stay again!"

"Convient, cozy with distant ocean view - This was great for our family of 5. It was comfy and we felt at home. We had a nice view of the pools. Our youngest liked seeing the pools and couldn't get enough. He made many friends while hanging out at the pools. We enjoyed the bar area, and would play cornhole and have a drink. Short drive to the beach. We took a quick trip to Ft Walton.
The only negative was only half the toaster worked."

Only complant was getting ahold of the front desk was almost impossible and the coffee maker only works if you yourself puts a hole in the bottom of the k cup because that part is broken on the coffee maker !! "Very nice! - We enjoyed our stay so much! It was a perfect place for a family of four. I do recommend bringing k-cups for coffee. I was prepared for a regular coffee maker and they only have a keurig. I’m sure it says that somewhere, but we missed it. Overall, we loved our stay!"

"Nice & Clean - We rented the smaller 2 bed 2 bath condo and it was perfect for our needs. It had been recently updated. All furniture and decor was very “beachy” and in great shape. Beds were very comfy and the condo was very clean.
The pool area was awesome!! Although we weren’t directly on the beach, being on the 11th floor gave us a great view of it. Overall a very good place and great vacay!"

"Great end of the summer family vacation. - The unit was beautiful as pictured. Loved the beach theme throughout the house. It was cozy and spacious enough for us, 2 adults and 4 kids. We felt like we were at a 2nd home. The beds were comfy. There was ample kitchenware, towels, and linen. The pool was awesome for the kids and the jacuzzi was amazing for us. The only complaints we had were the difficulty with opening and closing the balcony's sliding door, we actually have the same problem at home so we just used the master bedroom's sliding door the majority of the time. Also, the internet connection was faulty at times, more than likely related to the number of devices. We had four kids on tablets and/or phones at night; and often they would be disconnected. A tv in the kids' room would be a great addition. Neither of these complaints were significant enough to contact the owner or have a negative effect on our vacation. We had a blast and would definitely stay again! The unit was in good distance to many of our main attractions, like Harbor Walk Village and the Big Kahuna. Walmart is super close, I think we went daily lol. The shuttle was great and convenient, didn't have to worry about parking for the beach. Thanks for sharing your home!"

"Great Family Vacation - The specific condo we rented at the Palms was perfect! All of the beds were comfortable and we all slept much better than we had in the hotel on the way to Florida. The furniture was in perfect condition and there was plenty of seating available. We particularly enjoyed the little patio table and the view of the lagoon pool and beach across the street. We could see from the balcony if the water appeared rough or calm (the 1st 2 days we were there it was double red flags -high risk and other 2 days green flags). The way the towers at the Palms surround the lagoon pool allows for at least some shade at all times of the day over the pool if the sun/heat gets to be too much. The location of the Palms is pretty ideal with a block from the beach and easy access to Walmart from a back road that runs behind the Palms.
The only downfalls were that it would had been more convenient to be right on the beach. Since the Palms is not right on the beach and doesn’t have a designated private beach the shuttle drops off at 2 public beaches. Private beach access offers chair/umbrella rentals. Public beaches do not. The State Park across the street did offer chair/umbrella rentals, had bathrooms, outdoor showers to rinse sand off, and picnic tables. The shuttle does not drop off at the State Park so we drove. It costs to get in the State Park but it’s like $6 for up to 8 people or something like that. The other downfall is there are not nearly enough luggage carriers at the Palms to get everything up to your room. We waited a while for one and with no luck carried all of it up to our room and later carried groceries up which was a pain. Also the shower head in the 2nd bathroom (not the master) needed cleaning or something because there was virtually no water pressure whenever there was water pressure to the sink in the same bathroom. Overall our stay was great and the beaches in Destin are stunning! Also, our condo was by far the nicest we saw while there!"

"Long weekend away - The unit was immaculately clean and very tastefully decorated. I managed to peep in several other rooms while there, and 21113 was easily the nicest I saw. Furniture was current, comfy, and clean. GREAT view of the pool area and a decent view of the ocean and beach across the street. Definitely would stay here again; in fact, I'm returning to the area in a month and was very disappointed to find the unit is already spoken for."

"Fun in the sun - Accommodations were fantastic! We were in 21113 as a few months before we left the condo we were going to use sold. They relocated us and our condo was just as nice. Loved it would love there if I could. Kitchen had everything we needed, laundry was in room and soooo nice. Washed towels theirs and ours every day. Dolphin cruise was fun too. State park was close and would recommend. Nice clean beaches in Destin."
