Pointe of View is a proper beach house - located right on the sand! This fantastic 5 bedroom, 5 bath, 3 story townhome is one-half of a large Gulf Front home, featuring 2 gulf front suites, a garage that will fit a compact car and room for 2 vehicles in the driveway. The association requests a 3-car limit. Spectacular views to east and west give you fantastic sunset and shoreline viewing in both directions. Watch the kids play on your private beach from the huge decks on all 3 levels.

This spacious home sleeps 18 comfortably with 2 bedrooms with King beds, a bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with 2 twins, and a bunk room with 8 twins as well as a queen Sleeper Sofa. Enjoy plenty of living space, with the living room and kitchen on the second floor, a second mini kitchen in the first-floor master suite, and a second living room on the third floor. All bedrooms have TVs. The living area has a large flat screen and DVD player. There's a gas grill and washer/dryer. Come and make lasting family vacation memories at Pointe of View!

Area Attractions:

Several outstanding restaurants are within walking distance, including one of the most highly regarded in Destin, 'The 790 Cafe' located at The Inn at Crystal Beach and 'Beachwalk Cafe', rated one of Destin's best by Florida Trend Magazine.

Pointe of View is also just a few minutes' drive from all Destin has to offer, including go-kart rentals, dolphin cruises, charter fishing, parasailing, Big Kahuna's Water Park, The Track Family Fun Center, and the Silver Sands Outlet Mall.

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

"Large Family Trip - We are an extended family of 13, including 7 adults and 6 children. Overall I would recommend this house to anybody looking for quick beach access and many beds. Pros: access to beach, layout of house, number of beds, overall location. Cons: cleanliness of house. I'm sure it can be difficult to clean such a large house but there were clogged showers and sinks, sand on the floor, and the couches could have used a deep clean. It was livable but being cleaner would have made it the ultimate stay."

"Perfect location and such a great house! I would definitely recommend this house to a larger group of people, it had plenty of space. The location was absolutely perfect. The only thing I would recommend is getting new hinges on the doors because they are extremely rusty and the screws kept falling out. The tv’s were a little glitchy when we tried to connect the computers to them. Other than that, I would totally stay here again!!"

"Destin in December - The property was just as advertised which was great because it was my first time renting a vacation house. The beach was amazing. There were plenty of linens provided and my neices and nephews enjoyed the beach toys provided. We just had a slight problem with bugs on the second floor which is where the kitchen is located. I'm unsure if that is due to the location of the house or something else. And we were able to see dolphins from our balcony in morning which was amazing."

"Paradise with a View - Our week spent at Pointe of View was everything anyone would want for a relaxing, beach vacation filled with perfect, unobstructed views of the ocean and easy access to the beach. The home itself is comfortable with plenty of space for all guests. Each floor has a deck that overlooks the beautiful emerald ocean with direct beach access. There was one sink that was not draining properly and the property manager was very quick to respond and offer to have the issue addressed immediately. The management company was great to work with, will definitely rent from them again! The only complaint is that of the public beach directly next to the private beach associated with the property, still plenty of space for the property’s guests with a set of chairs included, but the public does tend to want to drift over into the more private section. Nothing that deterred from the week, just the only true complaint. If you want paradise with a view, book this property!!"

"Awesome - Location was awesome. It is situated directly on the beach, with easy access to beach services as well as several restaurants. The furniture on the balcony was incredibly comfortable and we spent hours just looking at the ocean. The property itself is close to many other restaurants and multiple grocery and shopping venues. Multiple sleeping areas and multiple bathrooms help keep the group happy.. Air conditioning was adequate. The kitchen had many appliances, cooking items. Parking was very tight. We only had one car but if the other properties have large SUVs it makes it very difficult to get in and out. Would recommend adding a Keurig. Property obviously shows we are in care of being a rental location, but didn’t really affect us."

"Birthday celebration. - We had a few hiccups when we first got there. But Real Joy was super great about fixing the issues fast. The location couldn’t be more perfect. "Family Vacay - The property was just as it was described, beautiful and clean inside with lots of room for our family of 5. Located right on the beach. We experienced hurricane Sally while on our vacay and the house held up! Yah, there was a leak in the lower bedroom, but we made it work and the maintenance folks were super nice and accommodating. I would recommend paying some attention to the under part of the condo and the walk way to the beach, it was full of trash and could use a rake. If I had a rake I would have done it myself. We did pick up some trash to help out (this was before the hurricane blew in fyi). Two beach chairs and an umbrella were provided daily which was a plus and we had plenty of towels to shower with after being out and about. My husband read the previous reviews on the lower king guest bed being uncomfortable before we got there and hoped the mattress was replaced, it wasn't. Actually the mattress wasn't the issue at all, it is the frame underneath, it had no support so it caused a sagging feel. We showed the maintenance man when he was there for the broken fan blade which they took care of right away and he said he would let the property owner know. No parking issues at all. Small garage fit one vehicle and we had two more spots which was nice for the massage therapists we hired to come onsite while the hurricane blew threw. I felt like we were taken care of and we all had a nice time regardless of the hurricane."

"Excellent stay! - We had a family of 10 and this home provided amazing space for us! The beach is literally right off the back porch. The living area was a great size and nicely open to the kitchen. We had two beach chairs provided with the home which was nice and held us a space on the beach. We had an amazing stay, will definitely return."

"Paradise on the Gulf - There is nothing better than these beachfront views. Each floor had its own balcony overlooking the gulf! We had 12 of us including 4 little ones. The bunk room was perfect for the kids and everyone else had plenty of space. We had such an amazing time! Every morning waking up to those views is seriously a priceless experience. By the way, it was worth every cent we paid to stay here and it was very clean. The kitchen had every we needed to cook with. Though we usually just made breakfast. It was also very nice to be able to park right at the house and walk inside. The beach was beautiful as it always is in Destin. It was a little busy being summer time, but not too crowded where we were located. We’re definitely interested in coming here again next summer. The location is right in the middle of Destin. When we were worn out from the beach, the Destin Commons is really close by. The girls would shop in the afternoon while they guys & children would nap (lol!). One day we all went to Big Kahunas which was fun for most of us. Some of the slides were a little intense for me, might not do those next time..haha. You have to try Camille’s restaurant/sushi bar. It’s just up the street and it seems like a favorite local hang out. Food and wine were great and during the day, they had a little walk up lunch bar & grill. Also, Wine World is right across from the Destin Commons, it has a restaurant that was very good. Some of the adults went one night to the wine and cheese tasting. It was so much fun! Besides those local places, we went to other chain restaurants mainly because we had the children with us. There’s so much more I would love to try. We met some people on the beach who mentioned Boshamps, Harbor Docks, and AJs. We’ll be sure to try those next year. "

"Worth Every Penny - My family and close friends rented both sides of this amazing house last week. The location is perfect as we have our own private beach and one set of umbrellas and chairs for each side. You also share this beach with the two condos in front of the house. We were also really close to the boardwalk, shops and grocery stores. We could walk to a lot of great coffee shops and stores as well. The house itself is gorgeous and spacious. Although the TVs were barely on, there was a cable box with every TV. The garage contained lots of beach chairs and kids sandcastle toys, so that was a plus. We set up a beach canopy and left it there the whole week as well. If I had any issues, the management company was right on it. I will say that the AC is very active on the second floor and then a little less on the 1st and 3rd floors, so if you run hot, it may be a bit warm for your taste. All in all, I would highly recommend this location. It was such an enjoyable trip."

"Amazing super clean house and superb customer service - We rented Pointe of View for 4 days over the Christmas break. We found the property to be absolutely stunning, very clean and the views were just like a dream. We had an issue with the wireless connection but the property managers were quick to fix it, they were always there answering any requests we had and did so very promptly. "Amazing VIEW! - My husband and I were very familiar with the beautiful beach in Destin, but had not visited in years. It was decided that our friends would join us for a week of R&R on the BEACH!! The task at hand was to find a place to stay that would accommodate 10 adults. After a short time surfing the web I found the Point of View Property. I have to admit the pictures are beautiful on the website , but in person the view from this property is Gorgeous!! And comes with a fully equipped kitchen (plates, toaster, coffee pot, utensils, pots, pans,) everything you would ever need. It was as if we were in our kitchen at home. We enjoyed our meals at the dining table that accommodated all 10 of us seated at the same table. Our own "private beach" area was so convenient to have. We set our Canopy up on the beach and did not take it down until our last nights stay. It was also nice to have the additional chairs and umbrellas set up for us each day. We all mutually agreed that we will definitely make this an annual trip and stay at this property. The property is very well maintained and CLEAN and the property management co is very friendly and came by to make sure we had everything we needed!! My only issue was, the parking area is small, but having the garage was a plus!"

It was awesome to have our own beach chairs and umbrella set up everyday on our own private beach. The views from this house are amazing. Parking is a bit tricky, but we managed it without any issues. Everything you could need for your vacation is within a mile. We plan to come back next Spring!"
