This is a fantastic location with Gulf Place Town Center only 1.5 miles to the West and Watercolor, Grayton Beach, Seaside, Seacrest and Rosemary Beach just minutes away to the East. Biking is a great activity to enjoy as the scenic bike path meanders along 30A. Bike over to Blue Mountain Beach Creamery for some homemade scoops that will have your taste buds coming back! You'll have an array of dining options to choose from!
30A is a fantastic destination, the beaches are some of the world’s best with sugar white sand and emerald green waters. You will find plenty of beach accesses along a 17 mile stretch of Santa Rosa Beach. It boasts unique shopping, fantastic cuisine and the incredible architecture that makes 30A famous, there are activities for everyone; kayak rentals, bike rentals, paragliding, fishing, golfing, hiking, swimming, tennis -- you'll find it all right here.
The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Sea Turtle Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 783 feet out from the Grayton Beach State Park access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Sea Turtle Reef is at a depth of 12-19 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

"We had a great time! Beautiful house. Close to the beach, but I would rent a golf cart next time. Parking is hard to find especially with my Yukon xl. Lots to do in the area. The pool was nice! We would definitely return. Internet didn’t work when we got there but they were very helpful with the issue and it got fixed the next day."

"This house was perfect for our family. Nice large kitchen and gathering space, big comfortable couch. Beds were very comfortable too. The pool is a short walk, but a heads up, there is a decent size hill you have to walk up, which might not work for older folks. The pool was a nice size with plenty of seating. It was nice to sit around the fire pit when the kids wanted to swim at night. When you need a break from the sun there is comfy seating under the shade structure. Make sure to have your wrist bands, they do check for them. The house has 4 bikes and there is a place up the road you can rent more if you need them. This house does not come with a golf cart and I would highly recommend renting one, it will make getting to the beach and local restaurants much easier. All in all, this was a great rental and a great location, I would highly recommend it to any family looking for a nice getaway."

"This rental is stunning!!! The neighborhood is fantastic! Just a few minutes from everything. Loved having the washer and dryer to use. The bikes were so fun! The pool is amazing and even has a fire pit area. There’s a golf cart rental in town that made our stay even better! We didn’t know this and called when we saw them driving around town but they book out months in advance! Luckily they had one left for us to rent! The screened in porch was also a huge plus. We were able to keep the front door open and let the breeze come in most of our trip. 😄 we would absolutely rent here again."

"Beautiful New Home! - This is a newer home that is decorated very well and kept very clean. It was perfect for our family for this trip and left plenty of room for everyone to sleep, relax, and hang out. The kitchen is very open and spacious with everything we needed. The laundry room is upstairs which allowed for easier use.
The bedrooms: master bedroom is quite large and spacious with access to a screened in, second level porch. The next bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds and shares access to a common full bathroom in the hallway. Another reviewer mentioned the beds being very hard, we actually liked how firm the beds were. I guess that's a matter of what suits you best. All linens and towels were very clean and white. I loved sipping coffee on the first floor screened porch each day!
Access to the beach is best done by car, however parking is a challenge there. I also need to mention that the public portion of the Blue Mountain Beach is quite small and you will likely find yourself needing to rent chairs for the week in order to sit closer to the water. The public section of the beach, we found, is about 20 yards wide and very quickly fills up. We ended up renting chairs/umbrella for the week. If I had known that, we would have rented them in advance as it gives you priority seating and a better shot at sitting in the front row looking at the water (what I'm sure is the reason we all head to this beach). The company we used was 30A Beach Rentals, but there was another one there, as well. The house came equipped with bikes which is an excellent way to get to the beach as long as you don't have much to carry (another great reason to reserve chairs in advance).
If you're traveling like us, you may arrive early in the evening and hungry. The grocery store is about 2 miles drive and easy to get to, but we were too hungry. The restaurants all had long waits. We found Redfish Tacos, it sits in a little plaza across the road from Blue Mountain Cremery. There are tables and chairs both inside and outside, you order at the bar (there is a menu online), and they bring it out to your table (they give you a number card to put on your table). They have excellent quesadillas and fish tacos along with refreshing margaritas (kids meals also)! It was so nice to get a table right away and within 20 minutes we were eating dinner. I highly recommend doing this if you find yourself in the same boat with arriving in the early evening on a Friday."
