"Very nice for the price. Great pool. - My friend owns a condo in this development so I had stayed there before and was glad to see a unit available at this rental price. The beach is great and we found the unit to be nice. The jacuzzi tub (in the unit) did not work but not that big of a deal. I would still recommend this stay."

"Lovely Condo by the Beach - This was our first time in Destin and we were blown away with the beaches and this resort. The condo was easy to find and the check-in directions given to us by RealJoy were easy to follow. We had a reserved parking space in the covered parking garage and there were carts by the elevator for easy unloading. The resort is right across from a Walmart and there is a Publix down the road, so it was easy to grab groceries and anything you may have forgotten. The condo was exactly as described and the beds were comfortable - plenty of extra blankets and pillows if needed! Kitchen was fully stocked but you will need to bring all of your own spices/seasonings/oil, etc. If you run hot, just keep in mind that you cannot turn the AC below 70 degrees (but it was comfortable when we went in March). The private beach and pools were so nice!! Our 3 kids loved spending their morning at the beach and we would end the afternoon and evening by the (heated) lagoon pool. Temps were still pretty cool when we went (50s-mid 60s) but the kids didn't seem to mind at all! This condo isn't beach facing but it's literally a 5 min walk to it. We didn't do much aside from going to the beach and pool so didn't get to utilize all of the other amenities provided. We definitely plan on going back and look forward to our next visit!"

"Sliver Shells was a great place to stay at me and my family really enjoyed our stay we like how everything was in a short walking distance on the property. The condo was nice and comfortable. Realjoy customer service was awesome when we called and had questions they were able to answer our question and were very helpful. We have been to a few of the condos in Destin and this by far was the best we have stayed at.

"First time in Destin - Silver Shells, St. Lucia, is a great place to stay! The pool is fabulous, and the beach is on the other side of the pool entrance. The beach was perfect--white sand and blue water! The Sand Bar has great food and awesome drinks. The girls working were polite and friendly. The guys working at the chair and umbrella rental hut were always super friendly and happy to help. I couldn't ask for more friendly people. Our condo was very clean, plenty of space for a family of five, and had everything that we needed. We could see the ocean from the deck, but the property is not beachfront. If there is one small thing that could be included would be maybe have a selection of some board games and maybe some card games. These sorts of things are difficult to pack when flying. Other than that, we loved our stay! Highly recommend!"

"Great place - The condo was great, had plenty of room and was in great condition. The only problem was that the refrigerator was not as cold as should be. We tried adjusting it with no success. We called property management. They sent someone promptly but they didn't fix it.

"Spacious and comfortable; not exactly "on the beach." - The unit was spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. Cleaning crew could have done a more detailed job between guests, but overall the unit was clean and comfortable. The Property Managers were attentive and quick to respond to inquiries/communication. We were a bit disappointed in the actual walking distance to the beachfront, as well as the overwhelming number of chair/umbrella set-ups, which crowded the beach. There was little room for beachgoers who chose not to rent the set-ups. The pool was unheated, and colder than the Gulf, which was at about 75 degrees during our visit."

"Beautiful resort - The resort grounds were gated, large, and beautifully kept. Plenty of parking available to guests. There was a lot of traffic in this area which was a concern for noise but the resort was far enough back that it didn’t bother us. The pool was spacious and very clean. Not too crowded. Plenty of seating available. Nice waterfall feature. Our kids had a wonderful time. We probably spent at least 2-3 hours just at the pool. The fitness center and tennis courts were still closed. The resort was a mix of mostly families, retirees and couples.
The condo itself was very clean, nice furniture, large bathrooms; and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Plenty of room for 6. Could have used more silverware.
Beaches were beautiful!! Very crowded but didn’t distract us from having a great week with our family. Would stay again."

"April 2021 - We stayed in Destin, FL for 4 days. Booking process was easy, we received timely communication before, during and after our stay. Condo was clean, except for some toothpaste on one of the bathroom sink faucets. The room was equipped with Smart TVs in each room, full kitchen with everything we needed to eat some meals in, there was no shortage of hot water for showers. We frequented the on-site tiki bar by the beach, friendly staff and the quick access to the beach was a plus. The fitness center was closed, but guests we’re allowed at a nearby gym with our wristbands. Instructions for check-in and check-out were clear and reasonable. Would stay here again."

"Wonderful Stay! - When staying at an oot condo or anywhere you never now what you are exactly going to get. But the stay was great! It was a short get away since the pandemic for my husband child and I. We were extremely pleased it smelled like a fresh cleaning once we opened the door. Every room was exceptionally clean. We had a view of the ocean, which was a pathway away. Condo does not sit on beach however you can hear the waves at night. We used the main pool that my daughter enjoyed. It was a relaxing stay. We were also greeted with a welcome gift very nice touch. We will be back!"

"It was great - Loved the two large rooms with bathrooms. It was very nice. The condo wasn't right on the beach but it is easy access. The description was a little misleading but it's no problem getting to it. The pool was very nice! The parking garage was closed so parking was a little bit of a problem if you got back late at night but I'm sure it will open back up. Overall we love this place and didn't want to leave. Also I got very quick responses to questions."

"The right place for the right time - We had two kids, two parents, and two in-laws. This suite with two rooms, two bathrooms, and each with a king sized bed was just the thing. The kids each slept on a couch so we all had our own space. It was a short walk to the beach and a short drive to attractions. We had a problem with the kitchen faucet and someone came on Sunday to work on it. There was a mix up between the emergency phone number and the property manager, but the response to the online chat was immediate. We would stay there again. Actually, we hope to stay at this complex again, maybe right at the beach if we plan ahead."
