"Great location, close to beach! - The condo was great! It was clean and comfortable. We had one small occurrence for which I contacted Real Joy and had a response within a half hour. Our only suggestions would be some new glasses, upgraded bed linens, and some basics such as oil, salt, pepper and the like."

"Perfect for family - Having access to the private beach and pool area was perfect for our family. The older boys could wander off on their own a bit and there was plenty of room for our younger girl to play. Everyone had a spot to sleep and the kitchen provided a way to avoid eating out for every meal."

"Good stay - The place was nice. Sand was EVERYWHERE but it didn't distract from the trip. We went to the beach for sun fun and sand so it also being in the condo wasn't a bad deal. Kitchen was well set up and the coffee maker was a life saver! Overall, this was the best trip we've had to Destin. We will absolutely be a repeat customer!!"

"Love this resort! - We love Silver Shells. This was our 3rd consecutive year here. The condo was great, access to the pool and beach, so easy and perfect for kids. Our code didn’t work upon arrival, it was late and we were tired, but even then my husband was able to talk to someone on the phone and get a new code relatively quickly. We’ll be back!"

"Great location and amazing beach! - Property was just as described. Adequate space for us and three teenagers. Lovely view! Kitchen had everything we needed and having laundry was a plus! Possible issue with A/C, but we did not need it due to cooler temps. This was addressed with rental company and they responded immediately 🙂 Would definitely recommend this property as well as the rental company!"

"Destin 2020 - The condo was very nice and clean. This was our first time to Destin. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach and the resort amenities. The lack of communication from the owners was disappointing. I’d reached out to them months before our trip and never heard a word back. During co-vid they communicated with me once only to tell me they couldn’t accommodate a room change when some of our party cancelled out of fear. Then when vacation rentals were banned, they never once returned a call, email or message. Luckily the ban was lifted days before our trip and we were able to come. Upon arrival, we had to ask other people where to go, how to get to things and we just felt out of the loop a lot. They texted a few times during our stay but by then I didn’t even try to communicate with them because I didn’t believe they’d even answer. Again, we loved our trip, the beach, the condo and resort but the owners not communicating was very disappointing. When we come back, we won’t use Realjoy Vacatuons again."

"September Vacation - Myself, husband, and two kids (4 and 2) had an amazing stay at this property. It was even better than the pictures suggested! The decor in the unit was updated and the appliances were in near-new condition. The pool and beach were so easy to access which was helpful with 2 little kids. I did not find they key fobs to be a nuisance like other reviewers, as I found them to contribute to the excellent security and safety of the resort. The covered parking was great, too.
Check in was a breeze - although 4:00 is difficult with little kids. Check out was easy, as well.
I would recommend this property in an instant to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay in Destin! We hope to return one day."
