"Great location in Destin - The property definitely was a cute little house that was perfect for our girls trip! You are a short walk from a small section of beach that you can lay out on (just nuzzled in between two private beach area so it’s a little snug). Beds were comfy and the kitchen area was good to hangout.
Only complaint really was the alarm for the doors outside that aren’t supposed to be turned off. They were SO obnoxiously loud. I do wish the pool was heated at our time of year too.
Overall would definitely recommend the house!"

"Cute home, plenty of space and perfect location! - The home was exactly what it was listed to be! It was spacious, clean, cozy and was in a quiet location but close to everything we needed and wanted to see or do! It was just right up the block from the beach and walking distance to several little places to see. The only thing that could make this place better would be a little gas firepit on the patio or a hot tub."

"Great place to stay. It’s an easy 5 min walk to the beach with children on a sidewalk. The inside of the house is very cute with nice details and a nicely stocked kitchen. The pool was great! We did notice some pool tiles which were peeled off and placed next to the pool but, nothing major. Overall, as a family of four, we had a great experience."

"Stay for Wedding - My now husband and I rented this house as a wedding gift to each other. We went to Destin to get married. This house was just perfect! Very close to the beach, private pool. We loved this house. Also had my bother, mother, sister and her spouse and our 3 year old son staying as well. Everyone had plenty of room! Awesome experience will rent again!"

"Beautiful House In A Prime Location - This house is so beautiful and just feels like home. It is very open, clean, updated, and exquisitely decorated in the beach vibe fashion. My wife, five year old son, and myself absolutely loved our stay here and will be repeat renters of this property. The house is in a great location, it is quiet, and the walk to the beach is super easy. My biggest gripe was that the wifi network that was posted in the house never appeared on any of our devices and we never were able to connect, but we spent most of our time at the beach anyways. Additionally, the Roku TVs are nice (strangely those did connect to the wifi, but on a different network name), but the live TV stations offered are pretty lame, especially if you are looking for sports. My third and final "gripe" is that the kitchen is very randomly equipped. I will probably bring my own cookware next time.
All in all this was one of the best beach houses I've stayed at in the Destin area and I can't wait to go back. I also love the guest book that the owners left in the dining room. That is such a unique and lovely idea."

"Wonderful Vacation - The house is just as it shows in the pictures, beautiful! It was perfect for my family of 4 adults, 2 children and 1 infant. We really enjoyed the private pool! It was so convenient to have a pack-n-play in the house so we didn't have to rent one. The public beach was really busy so we visited other beaches around the area. The beaches near Destin are just gorgeous! The house is in a great location. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us!"

"Lovely beach house - Lovely house, and it is a short walk to two public beach accesses. The one at the end of the street has a tiny public space. It’s worth the extra couple of blocks for more beach space. The wagon was great to take our stuff to the beach. We loved the screened porch, and the balconies were great for morning coffee. The house was perfect for our family of 7. The downside of the house is the front load washer is moldy, and three of the four pool lounge chairs were broken."

"Great Vacation! - Sugar Beach Cottage was beautiful and clean. We had a great time and loved having the private pool! The beach was great and the walk there was easy with a wagon. We had a great vacation and would absolutely stay here again. There were only two very minor things that were less than ideal. The washing machine is starting to get a mildew smell to it and the patio furniture is getting a little worn. Neither of these things were a big deal to us, but might be something to keep in mind. Overall, a wonderful experience here!"

"Great Stay - Overall a great location and nice house. During the peak travel season, the nearby public access beach is a short walk but quite small, so you’re better served renting a private umbrella and chairs if you have a large group. The pool is smaller than it appears in the photos, but a lot of fun nonetheless."

"Adorable Beach House - We loved Sugar Beach Cottage. The house was beautiful. The master bedroom and bathroom were gorgeous. The house was clean and everything we needed was provided. Clean linens were folded on the couch for the sleeper sofa. There were plenty of pillows in the closets. We really enjoyed or stay. The pool was also perfect. There were double red flags our whole stay, so the pool really saved us. Also plenty of outdoor seating and umbrellas at the pool."

"Beautiful house and beach! - This was our first trip to Destin and the house nor beach disappointed. The house is a short walk to beach & they have a beach wagon to assist you with your things. The pool was great to come back to after being on the beach. The house itself fit all of our needs and was very spacious. The only complaint was not knowing there is limited public space at the beach access at end of road. There are other areas but for convenience we stayed at one at end of rd. Plan to get there early if you want a close spot to the water. Overall we had an amazing time! We also visited crab island and rented boats- highly recommend that as well."

"Perfect vacation - everything about this property was perfect! The house has so much charm! The pool area is private and very nice. We really loved the screened in porch with our 18 month old. The walk to the beach is short. If you have little ones I do recommend a wagon to put them in to get to the beach. I also recommend getting to the beach early, around 630am, to set up your tent because the public access beach area is pretty small. Overall we had a wonderful stay! We would definitely recommend this house to others and love to come back!"
