Located in the heart of Crystal Beach, this recently renovated, 3BR/2.5BA home has an ample amount of outdoor space, including a relaxing screened-in back porch with new patio furniture! When you’re not catching sun by the pool, chill in the comfortable living room with a huge flat screen TV, play a game of cards around the dining table, or fire up a meal in the spacious kitchen. Upstairs you’ll find the king master suite with balcony access and a gorgeous en suite bath with double vanities, a claw foot soaking tub, and separate shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bunk nook and the third bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed and queen air mattress for extra sleeping arrangements. Area Attractions:

Crystal Beach is a terrific residential area, yet close to restaurants and activities in Destin. Walk to close by restaurants such as the award-winning 790 Inn on the Gulf or Camille's, get your fro-yo on at U-Twirl Frozen Yogurt, or learn how to ride the waves at All-A Board Surf School.

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

"Great place to stay. It’s an easy 5 min walk to the beach with children on a sidewalk. The inside of the house is very cute with nice details and a nicely stocked kitchen. The pool was great! We did notice some pool tiles which were peeled off and placed next to the pool but, nothing major. Overall, as a family of four, we had a great experience."

"Beautiful House In A Prime Location - This house is so beautiful and just feels like home. It is very open, clean, updated, and exquisitely decorated in the beach vibe fashion. My wife, five year old son, and myself absolutely loved our stay here and will be repeat renters of this property. The house is in a great location, it is quiet, and the walk to the beach is super easy. My biggest gripe was that the wifi network that was posted in the house never appeared on any of our devices and we never were able to connect, but we spent most of our time at the beach anyways. Additionally, the Roku TVs are nice (strangely those did connect to the wifi, but on a different network name), but the live TV stations offered are pretty lame, especially if you are looking for sports. My third and final "gripe" is that the kitchen is very randomly equipped. I will probably bring my own cookware next time. All in all this was one of the best beach houses I've stayed at in the Destin area and I can't wait to go back. I also love the guest book that the owners left in the dining room. That is such a unique and lovely idea."

"Wonderful Vacation - The house is just as it shows in the pictures, beautiful! It was perfect for my family of 4 adults, 2 children and 1 infant. We really enjoyed the private pool! It was so convenient to have a pack-n-play in the house so we didn't have to rent one. The public beach was really busy so we visited other beaches around the area. "Lovely beach house - Lovely house, and it is a short walk to two public beach accesses. The one at the end of the street has a tiny public space. It’s worth the extra couple of blocks for more beach space. The wagon was great to take our stuff to the beach. We loved the screened porch, and the balconies were great for morning coffee. The house was perfect for our family of 7. The downside of the house is the front load washer is moldy, and three of the four pool lounge chairs were broken."

"Great Vacation! - Sugar Beach Cottage was beautiful and clean. We had a great time and loved having the private pool! The beach was great and the walk there was easy with a wagon. We had a great vacation and would absolutely stay here again. There were only two very minor things that were less than ideal. The washing machine is starting to get a mildew smell to it and the patio furniture is getting a little worn. Neither of these things were a big deal to us, but might be something to keep in mind. Overall, a wonderful experience here!"

"Adorable Beach House - We loved Sugar Beach Cottage. The house was beautiful. The master bedroom and bathroom were gorgeous. The house was clean and everything we needed was provided. Clean linens were folded on the couch for the sleeper sofa. There were plenty of pillows in the closets. We really enjoyed or stay. The pool was also perfect. There were double red flags our whole stay, so the pool really saved us. Also plenty of outdoor seating and umbrellas at the pool."

"Beautiful house and beach! - This was our first trip to Destin and the house nor beach disappointed. The house is a short walk to beach & they have a beach wagon to assist you with your things. The pool was great to come back to after being on the beach. The house itself fit all of our needs and was very spacious. The only complaint was not knowing there is limited public space at the beach access at end of road. There are other areas but for convenience we stayed at one at end of rd. Plan to get there early if you want a close spot to the water. Overall we had an amazing time! We also visited crab island and rented boats- highly recommend that as well."

"Perfect vacation - everything about this property was perfect! The house has so much charm! The pool area is private and very nice. We really loved the screened in porch with our 18 month old. The walk to the beach is short. If you have little ones I do recommend a wagon to put them in to get to the beach. I also recommend getting to the beach early, around 630am, to set up your tent because the public access beach area is pretty small. Overall we had a wonderful stay! We would definitely recommend this house to others and love to come back!"
