Also close by is the Destin Commons with incredible eateries, upscale shopping, a park with pop up fountains at its center, and favorites like Bass Pro Shops and Hard Rock Cafe.
Grand Boulevard Town Center is a pedestrian-friendly, shopping and dining complex just off Emerald Coast Parkway, convenient to both SanDestin and Miramar Beach. For the high-end shopper, the center offers everything from Fusion Art Glass Gallery to Brooks Brothers Country Club. If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

"This beautiful building located next to beach. Private walkway to get across the road to go to beach. 1 room was very spacious, and the other was small and it didnt have a tv in small bedroom. The view was breathtaking. It was nice having a washer and dryer in unit. When i arrived rental was clean and ready for us to move in. This rental supplies you with all the necessities needed in a home. Cons: When arrived there was no staff at property to explain how things worked. A security guard arrived and gave us a parking pass and told us to just use our door code to get into room. He also gave us the gate code for beach access. There was womens under garments that were not removed from prior renter. Before leaving at the end of our stay we had to wash and dry all towels and dishes prior to leaving. For the price you pay and no room services throughout the week i would think they should be responsible for cleaning the room, towels, dishes etc. Overall 9/10 review"

"AMAZING! - My friends all raved at how clean our unit was compared to theirs! So the cleaning people are amazing! The unit was perfect sized, had everything we needed. The showers are sooo powerful - but hurts when you have a sunburn LOL the AC was perfect - and didn't need to be super low to cool off the unit. The guest room that faces the sun - was hotter but they had fans in the closet and we used em. Just keep those blinds closed! Plenty of pantry space and ease of cooking! Plenty of towels, for showers and wash cloths and hand towels - the washer and dryer were key! We hope to visit again next year! Thanks so much Lisa - we had a great time!

"Amazing Vacation!!! - We fell in love with Destin a few years ago and found Lisa’s property when planning last year. Let me tell you, what a gem! Lisa was so helpful with all of the planning and preparation for our trip. The condo was clean and equipped with every amenity you could think of. The resort itself could use some updating as far as decor but it was a wonderful location and the beach bar and sky bridge to the beach was such a treat! We enjoyed the view from the balcony and enjoyed being close to many shops and stores. The first night they had bonfire on the beach and that was a hit with our group! The restaurant downstairs was also delicious and we dined there twice. The included beach service (two chairs and a umbrella) was nice but I suggest making a reservation with the attendants if you want to be on the shore line. The beach also fills up quick so I suggest heading out as early as 7 or 8 am to get a seat.

"Great Getaway - We booked this property as part of a last minute decision to getaway for Thanksgiving. We had 3 adults and a 3 year old and there was plenty for everyone to do without leaving the building. We arrived on Thanksgiving Day so the front desk staff was off but Lisa (property owner) was just a phonecall away and was available on a holiday to address any questions that we had. The space is the perfect size for small families and friends. We loved the cute light detail on the bathroom sink 🙂 The balcony is so spacious that we spent most of the time there enjoying a great view of the beach. The kitchen was equipped with everything that we needed to prepare all of our meals.
Especially with this pandemic it was a perfect choice, restaurant on the premises, pool, hot tubs, sports area and even beach bonfires. Oh, did I mention how easy the process was working with Lisa? From beginning to end, we are big fans and are already planning another stay in the spring.

"2nd year success! - This was our 2nd year here at pretty much the same time frame (last year closer to Labor Day). It was our 1st time in this particular unit. It is definitely busier here this year maybe due to school starts being pushed back & Covid it’s a last hoorah for many? This unit has everything you need cooking wise (even sharp knives - yay) and the king bed is quite comfy in the master. It’s very comfy/cozy and the bathroom counters are super cool with back-lit motion sensor lights that are soft and dim but click on when you enter - a huge bonus in the middle of the night. The view is always something to behold! And location is absolutely prime!
I would say the only things I noted and alerted owner to were that the cleaning crew needed to slide the couch & chair on tile and clean under - they were pretty icky as I discovered chasing something out my 3 yo had slide under there. Both bedrooms sheets had that damp mildew smell - like they had sat too long in wash and almost dried that way and then thrown in dryer. It was something even my husband noticed and commented on.
Also be prepared for noise possibly. There was a remodel very close by on this (5th) floor being done with tile being pulled up so extremely loud jackhammering 2 days of my stay during day. Lucky for next guest that part is probably over! A heads up to owner and us would have been nice. My toddler was pretty startled by it and how incredibly loud.
Last, a warning to light sleepers, be prepared potentially for people on pool/hot tub being louder until 11pm cut off each evening. With it being a lower unit you’ll hear it!!! My friends who stayed 10 floors up, directly above us, on 15th floor could slightly hear it but much more faint. Owner appears to be on sheets & floors under furniture so hopefully those points will be addressed! Hope this helps. Enjoy!"

"Great view of beach and pool, easy to work with owner! - We were incredibly pleased with this condo and the ease with which the owner, Lisa, was to work with! The unit was very clean and spacious and offered a perfect view of both beach and pool. We have stayed at Surfside 3-4 times before but never on this side, so having both views out the window was incredible. Lisa make things easy and even worked to get a couple of towels to us that we inadvertently left in the dryer.
I have absolutely nothing but positives to say about Lisa and this condo, and obviously Surfside is so close to many restaurants, grocery stores, and the outlet mall. Just make sure to not wait too late to eat as lines are crazy in Destin/Miramar anyway, but with limited seating due to COVID eating at traditonal lunch and dinner times can be a challenge. You might count on Winn Dixie and preparing many of your meals in the condo this trip because of that."

"relaxing vacation at a beautiful condo!! - Thoroughly enjoyed our stay for the week. The condo was fantastic, clean, and comfortable with some nice updates throughout. Beautiful view of the gulf and only takes a quick minute to cross over to the beautiful beach in Miramar. Perfect location too, good restaurants close by and the one onsite at Surfside has excellent food. Thanks for a great stay, and look forward to coming back!!

"The condo is beautiful! The beaches here are breathtaking! - Absolutely fabulous! The condo is spacious and confortable. The pool and beach bar were a bonus to the spectacular beach! Everyone we met was friendly. Lisa responds quickly if there are any needs or questions!

"A clean, beautiful property with a great view. - This condo was everything we wanted and more. Beautifully decorated with comfortable beds. The patio has a spectacular view to wake up to. There is a skywalk to the beach from the pool area that makes the walk to the beach much easier than crossing the street. Lots of good restaurants nearby but we ate at the restaurant on the first floor of the building twice -their food is excellent and there was never a wait. We originally wanted a house to avoid taking our stuff up and down in elevators but we are so glad we decided on Lisa's condo instead. It is a great place and we plan to return."

"Great apartment at a great price! - We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is just as advertised. Everything we needed was included. The best part was that we could walk to the beach every day. The location is close to everything. I would not recommend this condo for more than 3-4 people. We were two adults and three teens and it was a little tight."

"Great place for vacation! - Our family stayed stayed 3 nights at the Surfside at the end of May, and we have found that the Surfside exactly fits our needs.
A very comfortable and good furnished place to stay , with a terrific view of the ocean. I would highly recommend staying here!

"Luxury Home Away From Home - Rarely do I ever write reviews, but I just had to give this one major points! Upon checking in, I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Lisa. She was such a pleasure to speak to and assured us if we ever needed anything to let her know. The condo was excellent, everything I had hoped for and more, from the rooms, to the spacious bathrooms (with washer & dryer!), to the dining and breakfast area and the beautiful views from the balcony. Note, each room had a sliding door to the balcony, a definite dream to sip coffee with a view sitting on the patio set! The FULLY equipped kitchen made me feel right at home, especially for making breakfast. The condo was super clean and had plenty of space to relax and get settled in. The beach was in perfect reach from the skybridge. The pool and jaccuzzi was at a perfect temperature to dip in after the beach. I even noticed they had employees cleaning the pools early each morning I was there. Everyone from the employees to the guests and owners were all super friendly. There were plenty of space to park your car, even a parking garage for rainy days. The condo was located near plenty of resturants, shopping centers, and of course Walmart! I would definitely recommend this place and would absolutely book with Lisa again."

"Beautiful view with updated features! - Lisa was a joy to work with, very quick to respond and the informational packet she sent a week before our trip had everything we needed included. The condo was updated, very clean, and very spacious. She had everything we needed for cooking, storage space, etc. also the beds were very comfortable to sleep on, we loved the addition of the memory foam top on the bed. The light up vanities in the bathroom were perfect for any late night trips to the potty because it eliminated the fumbling around for a light switch in the dark! You can tell there is a lot of thought and care put into the upkeep of the condo. We will definitely be back!!"

"Relax and enjoy - It has been months since I was able to unplug and relax. My family and I enjoyed a great family vacation. The condo was clean, quiet and a quick walk to several spots to enjoy a good meal and watch the waves. A great view just steps away from the beach. "Beyond expectations - This was one of the rare occasions that we got more than we expected. The condo was well decorated, spacious and well worth the money. The resort itself was nice, everything was clean. It was also located right across the road from the beach (connected by a sky bridge). Mrs Lisa was very easy to deal with as well. "Beautiful well maintained condo & property! - I like to start by saying, it's been on a very rare occasion that I've left a review for somewhere I've stayed or eaten, my schedule is way too busy. But I will say, after staying here at the Surfside Sister's condo more than once, it compels me to leave a positive review. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Condo. It's always well maintained, clean, and up to date!! Lisa has consistently made it easy to rent from her, and we have been staying at the Surfside Sister's properties for a number of years. The location of the condo is perfect and the view, which you can see from the photo, is amazing! The property is located close to shopping, grocery store, great restaurants (excellent food, sushi, & view at the Royal Palms restaurant onsite), and a beautiful section of beach in the Destin area. My wife and I love it here, and we will definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay!"

"Diamond In The Rough - HaHa...should probably not have said rough; all I mean by that is the resort itself is a little older, but very well-kept. This condo just really stood out, because it was so nice! I love the way it was decorated; The layout is excellent; not the standard hallway/bunks/kitchen/bedroom. It was very clean, and the kitchen was awesome with what seemed to be very "modern" updated appliances. There were four of us, and Plenty of space. A special touch in my opinion was the kitchen knives that were actually sharp! This may sound trivial, but I've stayed in condos before in which you were lucky to find a knife and if I did, it would be anything but sharp. The icemaker worked, everything worked (I've stayed where certain things did not). Excellent balcony with plenty of space, and excellent view. My only issue which has nothing to do with the condo itself, was the wait on the elevators. When we first got there, there was a very long line and we waiting half an hour. The pool area was very nice; tiki bar was cool; they had karaoke one night which was awesome! We didn't get to try Rick's Crab Trap (restaurant within the resort), so can't comment on it. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone. Lisa was very easy and efficient to work with as well, responding to all my questions. Thank you Lisa for sharing your wonderful condo with us and we hope to return!"

"Relaxing vacation - This condo is very comfortable and beautifully decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of space...in a building with many amenities. The beach area is private, reserved only for Surfside guests...we spent many relaxing hours there. The property is located close to shopping, restaurants, golf, anything you could possibly need. The owner is a dream to work with...very nice, and quick to return calls or emails. Our trip was amazing, and we are looking forward to a return visit!"

"Great Time! - My family and I decided to go on a mini vacation at the last minute. Fortunately, we found this spot and it turned out to be better than our expectations. The condo was extremely clean and very nice. There was plenty of room for all five of us (2 adults, 3 kids). The beach was a short walk away, which made it easy to carry our belongings. I was very happy with the bridge that goes over the busy road, made it easy walking back-and-forth with young children. It was a great treat to have the pool and hot tubs waiting for us after a long day at the beach and might I mention were ALWAYS clean. The Surfside Sisters were very pleasant, helpful, and accommodating especially with being such short notice. All the details and paperwork was very organized and professional. The staff at Surfside was very nice, hard working, and always had a smile on their face. I would definitely return to this spot again. The location was wonderful, close to everything you need and want, but not crowded and overly busy. The restaurants can get pretty busy at lunch and dinner, but we seemed to time it right and only once had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. And of course the beach was beautiful! Thank you for everything, it made a great finale to our summer. 🙂 "

"Excellent! - This property was amazing! Clean, gorgeous pool, tiki bar, restaurant on site, walking distance to other restaurants. Beach was amazing, and the chair and umbrella service was a HUGE added bonus. The condo's layout was beautiful, and great with kids. We all had plenty of space. We hope to go back here next year!"
