"The Nautilus is a beautiful home nestled in a delightful gated community. For my family, it was a perfect 10 and is definitely a place we would stay again. We enjoyed the multiple levels and space to separate, plunge pool, well-equipped kitchen, gym access, and golf cart/bikes. However, there are a couple of things to be mindful that may be helpful for others to know in advance.
There is only one bedroom on the main level and it has twin beds. If you have older family members, the stairs may be a challenge if they do not want to sleep in twin beds.
Deck/pool alarms can be frustrating when trying to enjoy the screened-in deck and needing to re-enter the house for refreshments.
Gym goers will need to purchase an access pass from the HOA team.
The beach is a good distance by foot but was accessible by bike or golf cart (both were provided) in less than five minutes.
Verizon coverage was spotty throughout the house. AT&T users had no problem. Landline phones were provided.

"We have stayed here twice now and wouldn’t stay anywhere else in 30a. The Watersound neighborhood is private, walkable and offers all the amenities you’d want as a family with small children. The house is exactly as advertised - large, well-stocked and with a ton of high-end amenities. The plunge pool (which we paid to heat) is priceless with young kids. The kitchen is very well stocked with most utensils, cooking equipment and pots/pans you would need to cook full meals. Real Joy was extremely responsive with any questions we had. Again, couldn’t recommend this house more."

"Wonderful place for family - We enjoyed our fourth Thanksgiving in Watersound and this property did not disappoint. Wonderful layout for extended family and having the carriage house is a definite bonus. The heated pool was wonderful for our grandchildren to work on their swimming skills. The alarms on the pool doors provided an added protection for us. Loved having a golf cart too!"

"Wonderful! - Beautiful rental with all the amenities. Plenty of room for our large family. Kitchen was fully stocked with Thermador appliances which made cooking easy. Ice machine was a plus! We would definitely rent again. The only negative would be the golf cart was very rusty and the bikes were older."

"We absolutely enjoyed every single minute in this BEAUTIFUL home. We were blown away by this experience. Our family enjoyed every moment we had together in "The Nautilus!" Such great memories were made! We especially had a great time with the bikes and the golf cart rides to the beach! We were thrilled with the short distance (a few of us enjoyed the walk to the beach from the house) to the white sandy beaches and the absolutely pristine waters! We thank you, and look forward to vacationing here again next year! We felt so "at home," and truly enjoyed the time we had! The private pool at the house was the "cherry on top!" When our kids were ready to come back from the beach, we enjoyed the outdoor shower (and appreciated the privacy lock) and then jumped in the pool for more fun!"

"Expansive beach escape with spaces for all - The Nautilus is well-designed for a multi-family escape. The open kitchen allows for large meal prep (two dishwashers) at the same time the rest of the family enjoys the living room and fabulous doors that open onto the porch.
The kids loved the pool and the loft bunk beds! (Parents appreciate the safety features). The multiple levels and comfortable areas scattered throughout provide spaces for many people to escape including a tower! The little things have been taken care of. We'll be back!"

"Beautiful home and resort. We loved our stay and comfortably fit 7 people. - The Home exceeded our expectations! It’s a stunning home. Beautifully decorated. Wonderfully equipped with everything that you need. We miss it!! The community is wonderful and exactly what we were looking for. We will be staying here again and again. The golf cart that is provided was a lifesaver. I am in love with the entire home but my personal favorite was the master bath. The soaking tub was great."
