Turquoise Turtle is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in the Emerald Shores neighborhood. Centrally located in Miramar Beach, this home is in a private gated community only 700 yards to sugary white sands. Turquoise Turtle is prominently situated on a corner just opposite the neighborhood pool. This house features a spacious open floor plan and a fully equipped kitchen featuring granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. You will also love the gorgeous tile work throughout this house. This beautiful home sleeps 8 guests comfortably with a king bed in the master bedroom, a king bed in the second bedroom, and a guest bedroom with two twin beds. Emerald Shores is a unique, gated resort community in lovely Miramar Beach comprised of 95 stucco homes. This one of a kind neighborhood boasts its own private beach pavilion with restrooms, showers and a sunbathing deck with chairs. Neighborhood amenities include a tennis court, basketball court, two pools (one seasonally heated) and a seasonal tram to the beach.

This beautiful home is located near Silver Sands Factory Outlet, the nations large designer factory outlet featuring more than 100 name brand designer stores. Also close by is the Destin Commons with incredible eateries, upscale shopping, a park with pop up fountains at its center.
If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

The kitchen was fully stocked, honestly way more than our family needs, we don't cook on vacation. One thing we missed was a cutting board.
This home is privately owned but managed by a management company. I wasn't sure if I would like that it wasn't personally managed, bc that's kind of the point of AIRBNB. BUT! we had 2 maintenance issues that were resolved within hours of calling them. I don't think most private owners can resolve issues that quickly. Plus I didn't feel like I was intruding when I called at 9pm on a Thurs. Their staff handled everything kindly and professionally.
Beds were comfy, bathrooms were clean with plenty of towels. Bring liquid hand soap if you don't like washing your hands with bar soap.
I would love if there was a clothesline on that huge side porch to hang all of our suits and towels. And it would be great if there was a combo lock on the side porch door because we preferred to go in and out there with the big porch and the hose is there for after the beach.
if you have young kids, take note: there are 2 showers but no tub, and both the guest rooms have doors that exit to the porch. Only the main bedroom does not have an exterior door. I had a stern talk with my kids about not leaving through those doors in the early morning when mom and dad are sleeping. The pool is right there and could tempt some kids. If my kids were younger or less trustworthy I'd put them in the main bedroom with no exterior door.
