Windancer is a private community in the heart of Miramar Beach. It features a 4-story Beach Front condominium and a handful of cottages with private pools. Located on the east end of Scenic Gulf Drive, Windancer is close to many favorite local eateries and just a couple blocks from Silver Sands Outlet Mall. Take a refreshing dip in the seasonally heated, Gulf Front community pool, step down the boardwalk to the beach, and grill up a feast at the Gulf Front BBQ area. Windancer is located close to the Silver Sands Factory Outlet, the nations large designer factory outlet featuring more than 100 name brand designer stores. Also close by is the Destin Commons with incredible eateries, upscale shopping, a park with pop up fountains at its center, and favorites like Bass Pro Shops and Hard Rock Cafe.
Grand Boulevard Town Center is a pedestrian-friendly, shopping and dining complex just off Emerald Coast Parkway, convenient to both SanDestin and Miramar Beach. For the high-end shopper, the center offers everything from Fusion Art Glass Gallery to Brooks Brothers Country Club. A number of boutiques, such as Hello, Sunshine and Magnolia House, carry fare you can't find anywhere else. Dining options include Mitchell's Fish Market, P. F. Chang's China Bistro, and Cantina Laredo Gourmet Mexican Food. In 2013, Walton County’s first movie theater opened at Grand Boulevard’s Town Center – the state-of-the-art Boulevard 10 Movie Theater.
If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

"Great spot for a beach trip! Great view of the beach and you can be front door to the sand in less than 2 minutes. One small complaint was that the apartment, upon our arrival, had half of a roll of toilet paper in one bathroom and none in the other, and the kitchen had no paper towels. That was a small inconvenience easily solved by a trip to the nearby Winn Dixie, but I must say that there were ample towels in the unit and the kitchen was well furnished with plates, cups, utensils, and some pots and pans."

"Fun n the sun - We had the best vacation ever! The balcony view was amazing! The beach was just a very short walk away. The location was absolutely perfect. When we put our clothes in the washer and dryer on the day we arrived (Thursday) the dryer didn’t work. We called but it took them until Saturday to get it fixed. We were very thankful. The umbrella and chairs were great that came with the condo. We paid for an extra umbrella and chairs the first day. It was $45 but worth it. Bring your own kitchen sponge and extra kitchen pods. We cooked in and needed more dawn soap so we went to Walmart down the road. We had the best time! The location was the best! The condo was excellent! It was bigger than I expected. The outlet is something like .3 miles away. We would love to return."

"Less Crowded Beach Area - Our stay at the Windancer was awesome. We chose to stay at a smaller condo this year and we loved it. The beach was so much less crowded and our beach attendant was so helpful and nice. We will definitely be returning. Would recommend to anyone."

"May 2022 - Stayed here in May of 2022. Location was outstanding and access to the beach was a short walk. This room was on the fourth floor, so a great view and the building had an elevator. The condo was clean on arrival and we didn’t have any major complaints (maybe bring your own pillow as the pillows were worn out). Would easily rent this place again in the future."

"3rd year here, it was good! - My experience has been different every year with Windancer. Overall this one has been a good experience. The Accommodations were very clean. The beds and couches were worn out though. Also new to this year that I’ve learned is that the reserved beach chairs end at two and it’s a free-for-all to sit wherever you want meaning you could lose your chairs. I was there for a week and never managed to get closer than the back of the line up, even after a substantial tip. With kids, being so far back from the water and weaving through the (common ground) front row seats was unpleasent. They set the chairs out in a u shape but guests are allowed to put their own chairs in the middle and it makes the shore line very crowded. Overall though, the cleanliness took highest priority and I appreciate that."

"Mini Stay - We arrived for just a short stay for two nights , the condo has the best view, the location is great and the private beach is super clean . You do get beach service while you stay (two chairs and an umbrella) . Communication between us and the property was easy and quick . The only thing I would suggest is just update “spruce” a few things around the place ( like the couch covers these things have seen better days ) and family pictures everywhere is a lil much , but I do understand this is their place but it’s also a rental . I would stay here again also the condo is a 4 story condo so it’s not crowded at the pool or beach . Parking was easy"

"A nice get away. - We loved the beachfront property and it was certainly big enough for the two of us. The condo can sleep at least six people. The condo was clean and comfortable.
In the first floor bathroom, the toilet needs to be secured to the floor. It is loose. (ps. I am not a big person)"
