"Can’t beat the hosts or the location. Large house to accommodate everyone - Fabulous location. Parking right out front door. Lots of space. EXTREMEMELY responsive hosts. There wasn’t a hand mixer and we were making mashed potatoes and they promptly brought a brand new one over for us to use. Very clean house
Kitchen was missing some standard items like potholders, dishes that could go in the microwave. All the dishes are extremely heavy. But there’s more than enough dishes for a large group. Also couldn’t figure out the AC upstairs. One bedroom always, another absolutely freezing. Shower doesn’t get very hot in large upstairs bedroom but scalds in the other."

"We are locals and this was just a one week staycation. Instructions were provided via email and were very clear. There wasn't much communication as we really didn't have any questions or concerns. We had the whole house to ourselves and loved the balconies overlooking the lake. Walking distance to the beach, but we really didn't care as we are locals but my daughters loved the pool. Wish we had more time, but would definitely stay there again."

"An absolutely joy. We spent a few days spanning over NYE and were impressed with everything the property had the offer. Great location and would love to return. Had a small issue with a broken chair from a prior stay and only reported it so the mgmt team would be aware. "The Beach Villa was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 2 teenagers. We enjoyed sitting on the patio on Four Prong Lake watching the birds, fish and turtles. Just across the beach, we enjoyed the beach, which was very family friendly and a bit quieter than other areas we visited. The Crab Trap had a wonderful outdoor bar with outdoor heaters and a beautiful place to enjoy the sunset.
RealJoy’s instructions to check-in were quite clear and they reached out to let us know how to contact them if we needed anything. They were quite clear that no kitchen consumables (coffee filters, seasonings or condiments) nor beach gear were included. We did leave some boogie boards, so the next renters could enjoy them.
The only negative I have is that the Lake side patio could use a spray down, especially of the ceiling, and some of the chairs on the upstairs patio could use to be replaced. Other than that the week just went by way to quickly."

"The house is perfect for a family beach vacation. This location was with in a quick safe walk to the beach. The beach was beautiful. The lake was nice. The was a lot of wild life to watch from the master bedroom. My children were able to see turtles, fish and owls.
There were a couple of roaches but nothing of major concern.
Our only issues were the gnats outside. It is nothing the owners could have done to fix this. This is the joys of being close to the lake. But it is definitely worth mentioning for those who never lived by a lake.
We would definitely stay here again."

"We had a fantastic stay! A beautiful home on a lagoon and right across the street from the ocean with an easy tunnel to provide access. The house was clean with all the beds we needed and plenty of plates and glassware to accommodate. One critique one be that the room with the bunkbeds. While plenty of sleeping options in there, the middle and upper bunks were limited to 200lbs or less which I believe should be known prior to arriving. Overall, it was a great stay and an awesome weekend in a place that I would certainly book again. Great location, great hosts, and a clean house with easy and reasonable check-in/check-out instructions. Finally, the hosts were great! Extremely responsive and helpful to us!"

"We had a great stay; everything was as advertised. Note that the bunk room is very small and you can’t do much in there except for sleep. We had one maintenance issue while we were there - the host was very responsive and a repair person was out to fix it in about an hour. Terrific location right near the under road tunnel so the kids could run back-and-forth to the beach by themselves. Thanks for a great stay!"
