This updated 1 bedroom/1 bath condo sleeps four with a king bed in the master bedroom, and hallway bunk beds that the smaller guests are sure to enjoy. This condo is equipped with fully furnished kitchen, dvd player, comfortable dining and living room areas. Step right out of your patio onto the pool deck! Enjoy the convenience of staying in this first-floor unit with easy access to the pool, beach, parking. There is a washer/dryer in the unit for your convenience.
Grand Caribbean East features a terrific heated pool, hot tub, BBQ grilling area, outdoor showers and picnic space. The complex has a friendly, helpful staff. Private, deeded beach access is directly across the street - less than a minute's walk from the building.

The complex is also just a few minutes drive from all Destin has to offer, including go-kart rentals, dolphin cruises, charter fishing, parasailing, Big Kahuna's Water Park, The Track Family Fun Center, and the Silver Sands Outlet Mall.
Several outstanding restaurants are within walking distance, including one of the most highly regarded in Destin, 'The 790 Cafe' located at The Inn at Crystal Beach and 'Beachwalk Cafe', rated one of Destin's best by Florida Trend Magazine. Grand Caribbean East is also within walking distance of Destin's famous Crab Trap restaurant.
Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.
If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

We did have a small issue with the dryer getting rust stains on two shirts. We reported it to the property manager who responded promptly but I don’t believe anyone ever came out to look at the dryer."

"Awesome place to stay worth every penny. As advertised the Beach is about less than a minute walk across the street from the property. The pool & hot tube was right outside our back patio, major plus. Everything from restaurants to shops are about 10-15 drive. We were a family of four with two teens & two adults. There is a washer and dryer and other cleaning supplies which was useful. The only things I found strange was they ask you not to set the AC below 71, they only provide one set of bath towels (stayed 5 days), they didn’t provide extra trash bags. Oh and don’t forget to place these parking placards that are provided in the room. We were told without them you’d be towed immediately (Dang!) . Highly recommend this place."

The condo was perfect for our family - ground level meant easy access to the pool. Our only complaint was that the pool was closed for the first part of our trip. Some upgrades needed--new pots and pans due to misuse, bedroom ceiling fan needs to be cleaned, wifi did not work, and cable did not work in the living room (I reported soon after check-in, but nothing was done)."

"Great ground floor unit - We’ve stayed at the grand Caribbean east and west maybe 3 times now and this was our favorite so far... ground floor and can walk right out to the pool. Right across the street from the beach. Only negatives - most places supply at least one dishwasher and laundry detergent, they had the 2 dishwasher but no laundry- might have been nice to provide at least one. Shower door was off track but I fixed easily, and tub drained slow but I assumed from everyone priors sand so we just dealt with it for the week. Would definitely rent again! Thanks!"

"Great condo for a family of four. It was right by the pool so the kids could just pop out and swim. The condo was decorated very cute! We loved the master bedroom. Nice big clean bathroom. I don’t really have anything negative to say about. If you plan on cooking a ton the kitchen may be a little small, but totally doable. We loved the place! Would rent again!"

"Great family getaway - We absolutely loved the property! It was great for us and our one year old son! Close access to the beach and beach access only had a couple of stairs so getting everything to and from was easy. Great access to the pool as well! Would definitely stay here again! Couldn’t have asked for nicer pool staff or individuals on the property"

"Book Now!!! - This property was perfect for my family and our needs. It was easy access to beach, clean, and the property itself was the perfect size.
Even during spring break it did n my get to rowdy or loud. We were on first floor unit which made it easy for My mother in law who has a walker...save yourself some time from the searching and just book now!! You’ll be glad you did."

"Lovely place - The unit is clean and looks actually nicer than in pictures. It had everything we need. A very short walking distance to the beach and the plus point is that the swimming pool is just in front of the porch which our daughter enjoyed a lot. We are really happy with our stay."

"LOVE this Condo! - LOVE this condo! Fabulous poolside unit! Great for a dip in the pool or hot tub with no stairs to climb. Fantastic location from the beach with an easy walk back and forth from the condo to the beach. Condo itself was very clean, comfortable, and feels like home. The hall bunks worked out GREAT for the kids. No issues whatsoever with the unit. Already planning are next visit. We will be back!"

"Perfect Location, Beautiful Property - The property is very well-appointed and is updated to feel like an actual home, no cheesy beach decor in sight. The king bed was super comfortable, the kitchen had all the items we needed for cooking, the pool is steps away and the walk to the beach is super short! We also enjoyed walking to shopping, food and ice cream and would 100% stay there again.
The only issue with being poolside and on the ground floor was hearing the pool gate slam when careless kids/adults went in and out of the pool area. Thankfully, all the guests were good about observing the pool hours and quiet times so, while annoying, the noise never interfered with our sleep."

"Very Clean & Beautifully Decorated - I enjoyed a short girls trip here and it was amazing. This is a wonderful place to stay and I highly recommend it!! My one and only problem was that the pool code I was sent would not work, but since this is a ground level room I just entered the pool from the patio of our condo. The beach access is a very short walk just right across the street. There's an old pier that's perfect to hang your hammock on. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!"

"Great condo and location - Upon our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised at the remodel of the condo. The paint, floors, and furniture had all been updated. It has a very modern look now. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. From the booking, arrival and departure, the visit was handled very easily. Myself and my two boys ( 10 and 16) came down for a quick trip. Great location, Unit is well stocked, well maintained. Very Clean and up to date. "Chistmas Getaway - This was our first trip to Destin. The condo was comfortable and well supplied. We were steps from the pool and hot tub. It rained frequently and to pop in and out of the hot tub during a shower was great. We were 100 yds from the gulf and were able to take frequent walks on the beach. The condos location was great. It has easy access to the beach, restaurants, shopping and downtown Destin, but was still far enough away that traffic was minimal. We would recommend this condo to anyone."
