"What a great spot to relax and enjoy our vacation!
Rental was clean and well kept, nestled in a great neighborhood with walking trails and a direct path to the beach through the state forest that you can ride your bike down.
This rental is a couple minutes walk away from two Pickleball courts!
The neighborhood pool was very nice and relaxing with a covered area to eat lunch or hang out while your kids swim .
As others mentioned, very little is provided in the way of household essentials, like laundry soap, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, and toilet paper. This was disappointing as most rentals that we have stayed at in the past have provided ample supplies.
The golf cart is great, but does cost extra which isn’t made clear in the description or the photos.
RealJoy is a rental management company, and they were very responsive and worked with us on a few items that came up during our stay. They were very pleasant to work with."

"We throughly enjoyed our stay . The house is got a great layout for families with kids of varying ages and the kitchen is wonderfully equipped with everything you could need for cooking . We usually bring our own linens since microfiber sheets ( yuck) have taken over Airbnb , I was so grateful that this home had wonderfully soft linens since we forgot ours , and SO many wonderful pillows ! One more thing - the extra fans - genius and thoughtful ! We had several fan sleepers and to have them readily available provided routine in sleep habits. 🙂

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Octopus’s Garden!! The house was immaculate and had a great starter set of items along with all the other essentials. This house was perfect for our group of 6 with extra space for more people. The Naturewalk neighborhood is beautiful with lots of amenities. We added on the Golf cart to our rental and used it every day to transport our group of 6 along with all our beach items to the beach. We also used it to drive into Seaside and other surrounding areas for shopping and dinner! Would absolutely stay at the Octopus’s Garden again. We also loved getting a visit from Ruthie when we checked in! She gave us lots of tips and even texted us recommendations for everything! We will be back!"

"Octopus' Garden was amazing. Extremely clean throughout the house. The kitchen was stocked with all the amenities we needed for a week's stay. We used the grill, rode the bikes, and puttered around in the golf cart (which I thought made it easier to get around down on 30A). It was a bit cool at night to sit out on the porches but we loved sitting on the swings during the day."

"Great Thanksgiving Visit! - We had a wonderful stay, and we were so impressed by the level of attention from the management company. The year round neighbors were so friendly and welcoming, and we had a blast playing pickle and relaxing at the hot tub and heated pool. The best part: I was horrified when we pulled up - I realized that I’d accidentally booked our arrival for the next day! My family was tired from the drive and not happy with me- but the management company pulled a miracle and let us check in seamlessly and early! Crisis averted. 🙂 Aside from that, the house is very pretty and welcoming and we had a great experience."

"The house was great. My only suggestion to anyone staying is bring or purchase there toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and dishwasher soap. We had 10 people and we went through a lot of these supplies I did read previous reviews so we were prepared. It was a great family trip and we will defiantly go back."

"It was a large, immaculately clean, comfortable home with two nice outdoor seating areas. The community and home were well taken care of. We enjoyed the pickleball courts right around the corner (bring your own paddles and balls). The community pool was shallow and had limited hours. The golf cart was nice for going to Seaside. The bikes were in excellent condition and fun to explore on. The area is gorgeous. The beaches are clear with the perfect white sand. Plan to buy basics for the house that are not provided (beyond an initial startup) such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry & dishwasher soap, coffee filters, salt/pepper, etc. On the positive side of this, the house was well organized and clean. Also note there are no beach towels and the house towels cannot be taken to the beach. The beach chairs provided were great! All in all, a great value for the size and location."

"Let's start with the wonderful things! The house was pristine when we arrived - very clean and made up beautifully. The house is spacious and beautiful. We loved having coffee on the front porch. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked, and overall we really did love the house. We used the golf-cart to get around to the grocery store and beach, which was super fun, and even took the bikes out a couple of times. Overall, would recommend a stay in this home!
There are a couple of areas for improvement that I want to share as well. First, I was pretty annoyed that we had to check bags just to take beach towels with us for the whole family. They really should provide beach towels given that the beach is the main attraction of the area. Secondly, we were there during the NHL and NBA playoffs and were sad to see that they didn't have live TV channels on the TV in the living room. We couldn't watch games airing on even basic cable TNT - so beware sports fans!"

"We enjoyed our stay. Very convenient having the golf cart already there. The bikes were in good working order. Very clean and comfortable beds. Really nothing negative to say. Maybe the the only thing to note is you will need to bring or buy extra trash bags and toilet paper etc. All the restaurants in Seaside are a bike ride away. Very fun and great place for teens and little ones."

"Beautiful Octopus' Garden - We had a wonderful time at the Octopus' Garden house. What a beautiful home it is. Everything was lovely and comfortable. It was a beautifully decorated beach house and made us feel spoiled the whole time. We loved swinging on the front porch, having dinners out there too, riding bikes to the pool and beach, loading up the golf cart and going to the beach, playing basketball, walking on the nature trail and enjoying the whole neighborhood. When we left a sketchbook of my daughter's at the house, they kindly found it and mailed it to us. We would definitely come back!"

"Georgeous new house with everything we needed. - We had a fantastic stay at "Octopus's Garden". This new home has everything we needed for our stay including a Ninja blender for margaritas, Roku TVs everywhere, comfy beds and pillows, makeup mirrors & blow-dryers in every bathroom, and even a kid friendly full-on-full bunkroom. The decorations and detail to sea life was so sweet -just loved it. We biked all over Seaside and Watercolor and the Publix was right next door to the development. Such convenience! "Beutiful home close to the beach and shops and res - Love this house! Has all you need and more. Bright and airy, nice, fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedroom (2 King suites!), nice décor, 2 big porches with swings to hang out on. The neighborhood amenities are great too; 2 big pools (1 heated), hot tub, walking trails, and shuttle to the beach. Had 4 bikes too, which we used daily to ride the nature trails and to the beach. Rode up 30A for happy hour oysters and beers too, through Seaside and Watercolor, loved it! The location is great, right in the thick of the 30A action, but hidden away in the State Forest. So easy to get to shops (and the Publix practically next door!) and restaurants, and to Grayton Beach State Park, without getting stuck in 30A traffic hell. We will definitely be back!"

"A very beautiful and well_kept home. - We thoroughly enjoyed the property! Furnishing werelovely, especially the bedrooms. Can’t believe you had found so many octopii decoratons-too cute.
My husband biked almost daily and I lovedhanging around, especially on the porches. Was surprised that the neighbors didn’t, though.
The only drawback was the distance to the stores for almost any kind necessity. I suppose if we came back in a couple of years, 98 will be built up close to 395.

"Octopus Gardens Rental - The house was perfect! We had a great time! Rode bikes to the beach, played games available at the house, went to the Shard Shop and created art, cooked dinner on the grill provided, went to the beach, shopping etc. Went out to dinner to the many restaurants. "Perfectly relaxing Girls Get Away - So wonderful to spend a relaxing get away at Octopus's Garden that was beautifully appointed with everything we needed, and space to gather & be social as well as bedrooms with plenty of privacy. It was great to be in the area at "off season" winter time & not have to fight crowds when dining out, shopping, and taking in the views. The kitchen and nearby Publix store allowed us to eat-in for breakfast & lunch at our leisure and then we enjoyed trying different restaurants each night for a meal out. I highly recommend a winter get away at Octopus's Garden!"

"Beautiful, spacious, and clean - We had the best time staying at Octopus's Garden! It fit our family of 8 adults and 1 child very comfortably, with room to spare! The beds are very comfortable, the front porches are amazing, and we loved using the complimentary beach chairs and bikes. Only a couple of very minor nuisances- the master bedroom on the 2nd floor's breaker tripped frequently throughout the weekend, but was easy to reset. Also the garage door opener takes a few tries each time to get it to work. But we would stay here again in a heart beat! Easy walking distance to the pools and easy drive to 30A and the beach. And we didn't use shuttle because of child with car seat but they will come pick you up from house and drop you off at beach which is very convenient! Thank you for an amazing stay."

"Dream getaway! - I can't begin to explain how amazing Octopus's Garden was! The home itself was so beautiful. Inside and out, everything was so clean and I felt right at home. Any appliance you could ever need was supplied for you, and the home owners even went the extra mile and labeled everything making it very easy to find what I needed! Everything about the house was a dream. Not to mention the location was perfect. The house was so close to plenty of food, stores and a very popular spot, Seaside. For the majority of the trip we rode bikes (they are also provided) to Seaside and watercolor where we relaxed by the beach and ate well. It was by far my favorite place that I have stayed while in Florida and I will most definitely be back! "
