"Perfect in every way! Exceeded my expectations!0 - The location was excellent couldn't have asked for a better view. The wall to wall windows and sliding doors were perfect with the amazing view we had. Waking up to a view like that and going to sleep with a view like that is breath taking. The condo was perfect. The size was perfect for 6 ppl. The beds were the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. We had pretty much everything we could possibly need. I will definitely be booking another vacation there at Sterling Sands. The pool and beach were pretty much right at our feet. We stayed on the second floor. Our room was right off the elevators so that was nice. And we had all attractions and food close even walking distance. Walmart was 5min down the street so convient if your staying more than a few days. I didn't want my vacation to end.
I only have 1 complaint. They don't allow smoking anywhere but in front of the condos under the awning. But our place smelled of cigarettes. And then got accused by the night security guard of smoking more then once. Because he said he seen smoke coming from our balcony on our first night and we had just got there and had put our things down to take a look at the view. And from that first day I felt like he was harassing us. Would sit at the corner of the pool just watching us while we sat on our balcony trying to enjoy beautiful view. They did offer to air clean the place to get rid of the smoke smell. That I did appreciate."

Jacuzzi tub didn’t work. Beach staff was not very personable. We are not a family that gets to travel and see spend a lot of time in these type of places very often so we don’t know how things work. When asking them questions they were very rude and short about their answers."

"The property was perfect for our family! - The location was perfect and we loved the beach access and pool area. Loved that the pool area was heated as it was a bit chilly when we were there. It was clean and had TONS of kitchen supplies which I loved as someone who cooks! Also we loved having 2 chairs on the beach already included in our stay!
The only thing I could probably is say is that the tv in the main room was going out. So the screen was very blue. We did report it and they sent someone right away but unfortunately couldn’t be replaced immediately. Due to our stay being early in the season the year chair fee had not been taken care of yet and we had to wait a day. They were quick to fix it though!
Overall it was a great stay!!"

"Perfect location and nice, spacious condo - The location is perfect. Easy access to the beach and since It’s downtown destin, there are so many fun things to do right by you. We enjoyed going to the harbor boardwalk with all kinds of restaurants and such. The condo is spacious and clean. There were a few things to note that may help your stay. Bring extra paper towels, trash bags, salt/pepper, condiments, etc. I am used to condos having basic salt and pepper so we didn’t get any from the store. Would have been nice to have. I do wish the condo had nicer pans (they’re pretty old) but they did the job. The hot water isn’t that great. There is a big giant tub in the master bedroom (it has jets and everything), but it only filled half way before getting cold. They really need to fix the hot water issue because I saw other reviews bringing up the same thing.
All in all, it was a great condo and I really enjoyed it. The big balcony and view were the best!"

We are happy to know that you thought this nice, spacious condo was clean and is perfectly located with a big balcony and a great view. Please accept our apology for any inconvenience caused regarding the hot water and lack of some supplies. As mentioned in the rental agreement, housekeeping only provides a limited amount (starters) of such items as paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, and dish detergent. Spices, condiments, coffee, etc. are not provided because of food safety concerns. Guests must provide any additional items needed for/during their stay. We will forward your comments regarding the pans and hot water to property managers so that they may review and assess these issues. Thank you for your patience and for choosing Real Joy.

"A very nice place to stay!! - The condo was nice and spacious. We arrived just after the HOA office closed on Saturday. Our wrist bands were left for us in the condo but no access code to get into the pool or other amenities. I called the customer service number and spoke to a very nice lady that informed me they didn’t have the code either. Since Sunday was July 4th the HOA office didn’t open until 2pm. ☹️
The condo itself was lovely. I enjoyed the large balcony with the beautiful view. Being on the second floor we could easily take the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator. I loved that even though it was a holiday week the pool and beach didn’t seem to be overly crowded, like other places we have stayed.
My only recommendation would be that the mattress in the master bedroom could be replaced.
We had a wonderful, relaxing week. I would definitely recommend and would love to stay again the next time we vacation in Destin."

Perfect location!!! Right on the beach, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Highly recommmend staying here. The place was super clean. The kids enjoyed sleeping on the bunk beds.
